#23: @Eyeamperiod on a life of tinkering
Steve is a childhood friend who's always tinkering and creating things online. We talked about how he started on YouTube creating reviews for electronics when we were in high school, and how that turned into making music, art, and now tattoos. We also talked about the struggles between making art and working a day job, being free, the creative process, and more.  --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/frank-talks-to-anyone/message

I talked to Vance (@MyLatinLife) about his life in Mexico and travels across Latin America. We talked about his first trip, how he survived, and eventually thrived, as a freelancer and blogger in Mexico City. We eventually became each other's therapists and talked about deep realizations he's had throughout almost a decade in Latin America. If you want to learn how to plan your first trip to Latam, or learn how to make it permanent move, he's your man. #19: Maximillian Giamarco on tinkering, volatility, and surpassing bad habits.
This impromptu episode happened because my friend and former Twitter poster Gordon "GT" Fang said I should talk to Maximillian, since we had similar philosophies on life. I expected to talk for 30 minutes and we went for 2 hours because we indeed have a lot in common. We talked about tinkering with different projects, jobs and ways of life, and how to embrace volatility and emotional alignment without going too far into negative habits. Lots of talk about the philosophies of Nassim Taleb, Paul Portesi, and surviving the 4HL while trying to find payoffs on the side and freedom.  I also talked too much about my transition into a life as a contractor and journalism, and Maximillian shed light on what its like being an emergency medical technician (EMT) while learning to code and trying to end his bad habits.   --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/frank-talks-to-anyone/message
