Rekindle Your Passion
One of the hardest things to admit in a relationship is that the passion has died. What is even harder is when you have to admit that it is your fault.  Last week one of my newest clients admitted that she had fallen out of love with her business, and she went into the usual spin of saying things like,  “Maybe I’m not cut out for this?” “Maybe I should just go back to a “regular job”? “If I just was making more money I don’t think it would feel as bad” This is where I cut in.  Find out what my advice to her was by tuning in.

Why you don’t need to feel shame, how you can be making business harder then it needs to be and how money doesn’t make you better but just amplifies who you already are.  Charlene Norman is a Chief Empathy Officer & Truth Teller with a dexterity of the ultimate trifecta:  change, business success and personal transformation.  She uses her 360-degree view of business, adds in decades of leading companies through ever-changing dynamics, and harnesses her ability to make people and processes more effective.  Then, by wrapping those power skills with a deep understanding of engaging the power of the human brain, she is steadfast in guiding business owners committed to their hopes and dreams of growing BIG and leaving a lasting legacy. Charlene has always believed in breaking the past barriers and is part of the new frontier pushing the boundaries for the future.  She knows 3 THINGS: (1) business is not nearly as complicated as it seems, (2) making money and making an impact on the world is one, and the same and, (3) all business starts and ends with people.

"Painting" A Better Picture
Don’t fake it till you make it, instead Practice for the future. Selling is just helping. Seven ways to grow without spending a dime. The power of using other people’s words. How to grow a business without advertising. Terry and I talk about all this and so much more on today’s episode.    Terry Begue is living proof that every single one of us has the ability to overcome our challenges and create the most extraordinary life we can imagine.  Terry started his painting business fresh out of high school with no money, no experience, no connections and no skills. Armed with nothing more than a pick-up truck and a dream. He spent years refining his painting skills only to discover no matter how good he became he was just another painter in an overcrowded market.  Refusing to settle, he stopped working on his painting skills and began perfecting his people skills. Learning what motivates people to buy, and taking away the reasons why they wouldn’t buy, and his business blew up! He more than doubled his income in just six months and over the next year, doubled it again! Since then, Terry has fine-tuned his process for business and personal growth, into an easy to follow, four step system. His proven system has allowed his company to grow year after year, even though he hasn’t advertised since 2012! Today, Terry is an international speaker and author of, “Attract & Keep Customers for Life: Four Abilities to Build Trust, Communicate Your Value and Charge What You’re Worth”  He recently launched his brand-new course, “Unnoticed to Unforgettable” designed to give even greater access and insight to his proven strategies in an effort to help as many people as he can fulfill the unlimited potential that lies within them.

Essential Skills for Success with Mark Herschberg
Everyone tells you how important education is, so we get one. Then they tell you that networking is the key to a career or running a business, so then what?! No one really teaches you how to do this even though it is one of the biggest skills.  Mark Herschberg has noticed this and created The Career Toolkit to help you gain all the skills for success that no one has been teaching.  We talk about interviewing skills from sitting on both sides of the table, what being a team player means, and of course networking versus selling and the mistakes commonly made.  He also gives us a peek into what it was like to write the book and some of the struggles he faced.  Learn and connect more here

You Need Help
Have you ever sat at your desk and thought, someone else really needs to do these tasks for me! Amanda talks to us about time tools, how and what to delegate, good communication, questions to ask when hiring an assistant, how it can keep money in your pocket and more.  Amanda Hamilton is the founder of Hamilton Raye “Your Outsourced Admin®” , which brings professional remote administrative support to startup organizations and businesses. Prior to starting Hamilton Raye, she spent ten years working in the corporate retail industry. She had a very successful career in production and sourcing where she had the opportunity to learn best practices for staying organized, managing constant changes in priorities, and finding process efficiencies to reduce workload. Loving the scope of her work and her team, but craving personal and professional growth, she longed to work remotely in order to live and work anywhere she pleased. Intrigued by the ‘digital nomads’ she would often read about, Amanda decided to take her fate into her own hands.  As Amanda started to connect with Founders, CEO’s, and small business owners, she saw a white space opportunity where these individuals were wearing multiple hats and looking for more time in their days and weeks. The most necessary piece of being a business owner is to maintain maximum efficiency and productivity, by keeping your schedule moving and remaining highly organized.

Legal Talk Made Easy
The last thing anyone usually wants to do is walk into a lawyer’s office.  Most of the time it is because that means that you are in trouble. Business owners often don’t use a lawyer until they are in hot water but Jeremy is one lawyer that is working to change that stigmatism. A lawyer is someone that needs to be part of your team from the beginning to help you navigate so you have plans in place before you get into sticky situations. Not only does this save you time and money but also helps you not to have to get stuck in the first place.  Now I know some of you may be thinking that most lawyers talk to you like you are suppose to understand the language, and that can be true but this is why this episode is one you want to listen to. Jeremy uses plain english to help you understand the law, what to look for, why you need it and then how to go about making that happen.  He has also provided so many amazing resources just for you Foxy Listener so don’t forget to head to our blog here to get access to them all.

Taking Your Time Back
There are millions of resources to learn how to create your ideal day, timeblock and so on. The one thing I always have my clients do first is to look at how they are spending their days currently and then assessing how this needs to or could change.  In this episode I walk you through the crash course in this exercise I do with each client which will help you start to look at how you spend your time differently and then how to use that information to change your days so you can be more productive in less hours.  Visit the blog for this episode at https://foxtalksbusiness.ca/blog to get your copies of the sample Colour coded day, Ideal Day template and more!  Don't forget to send us a picture of your colour coded day when you get it done!

I Fell Again
Do you ever suffer from trying to be everything to everyone ? I fell into this trap once again just recently. Once I am sitting in the 'mud' something causes me to look around and realize, "Oh I'm here again." This time, that something was constant anger.  In today's episode I talk to you about that and an amazing book that I have been working with to help me see these trends and finally do something about them before I spiral.  It has been a lot of work, tears and looking deep but the results have been amazing in a short period of time so I wanted to share in case anyone else is finding themselves in the mud and thinking, "Here again!?!"
