Healing feels like a distant and unlikely occurrence. But in Acts, God regularly uses healing to draw people to Himself. God wants to use you to heal others, by His power. In the Old Testament, God showed his people what he wanted from them and asked them to be witnesses for him. But they kept failing to follow and honor him. When Jesus called his followers to be witnesses for him, they were set up for failure. No one likes waiting. But many seasons in life require us to wait. How do we wait when we’re looking for God to move? The goal of spiritual wholeness is a life of love. But we can’t fully love until we grasp what it is. So much in our lives opposes us becoming people of love. So we have to align our lives in the right way to embrace a perfect love. #FoundryChurch

The root problem for humans is our human nature. It is twisted and broken, resulting in sin and broken relationships. But the Bible teaches that there is a different way, that God can make us whole even at the point of our deepest brokenness. #FoundryChurch

In our broken world, it can become easy to believe that we will be perpetually broken. But our spiritual journey doesn’t end when we become followers of Jesus. God wants to bring us to a place of spiritual wholeness where we can be truly and deeply complete. #FoundryChurch

Palm Sunday is more than donkey riding and reed waving. The entrance of Jesus into Jerusalem is full of expectation, confusion and tension, and everyone’s perspective seems to come close but misses the point.
