S01E06 – A 100 Days Left
With only 100 days left till Brexit, I decided to hop on the Eurostar, and check the mood in London. In this episode I’ll meet Simon Smits, he is the Dutch ambassador to the UK. The Netherlands is one of Britain’s oldest and closest partners, and I’ll ask him how Brexit is going to affect the Dutch. There is some music in Brexit: The Breunion Boys is a new European band begging Britain to come back. Their creator, Julia Veldman in Amsterdam, tells why she came up with this love song. Marc Roche is a Belgian Born journalist who was a remainer before the referendum. He has been living in the UK since 1985. Since the Referendum, he changed his mind and is now convinced that Brexit is going to be a success. I will visit him in his cosy house in Notting Hill.

S01E05 – There is a deal (for now)!
Paul Taylor, columnist at Politico, tells us what’s in the 585 pages, or at least in some of the pages of the Final Withdrawal Deal the UK and the EU agreed last Thursday. And what do the Poles think of Brexit? I’ll discuss that with Agata Gostynska-Jakubovska. She is a research fellow in Brussels at the Center for European Reform. And in Paris, I sat down with French journalist and writer Agnes Poirier to have a coffee in the fancy Café de Flore. Agnes has been living half her life in London. But since Brexit she doesn’t recognise the UK anymore, the place where she moved to in her twenties.
