Our values then need to be supported with positive beliefs to ensure we don't start to feel overworked or burnt out. Everybody has a past, and we may need to realize how it affects our behaviors and future. As a child, things are said or done that may be traumatic that we have to overcome as adults. For example, being told as a young child that you are 'Stupid' may be something you believe to be accurate as an adult that is limiting your success. Women connect emotions to an event because of our larger limbic system; we remember moments of the past when events have emotions attached to those events. Mindset shifts are required to change the perception of past traumatic events and see them with adult attitudes and wisdom, thereby limiting the impact of the memory. These mindset shifts must incorporate a woman's limbic system to ensure long-term changes.

The Key to Nonjudgment... Is Mindfulness?
Most people admirably strive to be “nonjudgmental” towards others. Coming from a place of nonjudgment allows us to see the best in others without letting our own biases get in the way. However, in order to become less judgmental, we need to change how we think about ourselves and the world around us. We make quick judgments every day about everything we see and put these things into categories, such as healthy/ unhealthy, affordable/ expensive, and good/ bad. And how much more often do we make judgments about ourselves?? Mindfulness, or living in the present moment, gives us the space to practice nonjudgment. First, we acknowledge how often we judge and that it is not necessary to judge. Then we can practice living in the present and accepting the world, ourselves, and others as they are.

Redefining Age to Fit New Social Norms
Age isn’t what it used to be! In past generations, people became grandparents by the age of 50. Today, it isn’t unusual to see someone in their 40s or 50s become a first-time parent. Improved nutrition, lifestyle, and healthcare are allowing people to live younger for longer, and it’s high time that we adjust our assumptions about age to reflect these changes. Psychologist Dr. Frieda Birnbaum is living proof that age is no longer a limitation after having twins at 60! She’ll explain why society’s view of age is changing and how women have especially benefited from this cultural shift.

5 Proof Positive Tips for Having a Healthier Lifestyle
The American Psychological Association reports that over 57% of people surveyed want to lose weight, and 50% say they want to live a healthier lifestyle. People have more willpower than they think if they have a clear plan of what needs to be done. Dr. Tsay has not only helped many people obtain their healthy lifestyle goals, but he also stands out to those who see him. While he's in his 50s, he looks like he's in his 30s. He has made having a healthy lifestyle a top priority and is happy to share with others the tips that can help them do the same.
