FIST-ta-CUFF RADIO SHOW #140 with AJ Matthews, Andreas Spang, Stipe Miocic and Coach Adrian Melendrez
AJ Matthews Show 140 is kicking off with a prospect everyone should put down on their watch list. He’s already been featured in Sports Illustrated as a prospect to watch in MMA, he won his Pro-Boxing Debut in the 3rd round with a KO, was a dual NCAA athlete, and is getting ready to throw down again in Bellator. AJ Matthews is dropping in on the shop to talk a little about what is in store for him on May 25, as well as being billed a prospect to keep an eye on. AJ has an interesting story on how he got into the sport. We will talk to him about his journey from a garage to the gym and how his brother helped with all of it. AJ is known for having heavy hands, power in both feet, and a guy who has no problem banging things out.. Make sure to tune in to the start of the show and get to know a guy who’s name could be in your mouth for a while. Follow AJ on Twitter @AJ_MMA Andreas Spang Our next guest is ready to get in the ring and win the Bellator Middleweight Tournament on May 18th. You read that right we will be having Andreas Spang on after his Bellator finals fight. He is set to take on Maiquel Falcao. This is a fight that will have plenty of action as we already saw a little in the stare down after Andreas KO win over Rogers. We will talk to him about the fight, what’s next for him, and if there is any bad blood after they get a chance to let things go. Andreas is a great interview and always brings the excitement. I can’t wait to have him on after the biggest fight of his career and hopefully we get to talk to him about holding a big cardboard check for a 100,000 dollars. Get ready with all you questions because phone lines will be open all show and I’m sure you got a few for the man who could be the next Bellator Middleweight Tournament Winner. Follow Andreas on twitter @AndreasSpang Stipe Miocic We thought for the start of hour two we would bring some serious weight to the show, so Stipe Miocic is hitting the shop. Stipe is coming off a KO of Philip De Fries in less then a minute of the first round and I’m sure is ready to welcome Shane Del Rosario to the UFC on May 26. Stipe and Shane will both be looking to keep their records unblemished but only one can walk out of the cage with their record still intact. This is a fight I can’t wait to see and one I’m even more excited to talk to Stipe about. Stipe has been on the show before and that means he had to be solid enough to bring back. We will talk about his training camp, fighting a guy

FIST-ta-CUFF RADIO SHOW 139 With Jessica Aguilar, Grab Bag Half Hour, Duane Ludwig & Shanon Slack
Jessica Aguilar Show 139 is getting started with Jessica Aguilar as she gets ready to step back into the Bellator cage to face Megumi Fujii at Bellator 69 on May 18. Jessica was on the show before her last fight against Patricia Vidonic which saw Jessica pick up a unanimous decision win. I can’t wait to talk to Jessica about the fight and her upcoming battle against Fujii. Jessica is currently the #2 ranked strawweight in the world and in the top #10 pound for pound in the world. We have plenty to talk to Jessica about and I can’t wait to hear what she has been up to since the Vidonic fight as she didn’t have much time to relax. We will talk about her four fight win streak and how much momentum that gives her heading into the cage. Follow Jessica on twitter @JagATT Grab Bag Half Hour This half hour our guest was a no show, so we talked the upcoming UFC fights and spent some time breaking down the recent Nick Diaz super fight no show. We talked about whether Nick Diaz should be black listed from grappling events and mma shows, why he might have not showed up for the event, and Drew our producer was on site for the event and broke down a little of what he saw being there. Duane “Bang” Ludwig BANG! That’s right Duane Ludwig is back in the shop and I can’t wait to chop it up with him… C’mon the man is fighting Dan Hardy, this promises to be a fight not to miss! We will talk to Duane about his last fight against Josh Neer, Duane ended up hurting Neer early on in the fight but got caught in a choke. We will talk to him about how much this motivates him to get back in the cage and win this fight against Hardy, if he expects a stand up war, and how you train for a fight that could turn into a technical slug fest quick. We will of course talk to Duane about his how things are going at his gym, and what he has been up to since the last time he was on the show.. Duane has plenty to talk about from his early career kickboxing, to working with El Guapo, heck even his MMA career. Call in with any questions you have for Bang and make sure to follow him on twitter @DuaneBangCom Shanon Slack Last this week is a man looking to make an impact at Bellator 69, Shanon Slack is dropping back in and we hope thirty minutes will be enough to talk with Shanon. If you have been watching this season of The Ultimate Fighter then you have seen the man who is usually dressed to impress and rocking Crooks and Castles assisting good friend Dominick Cruz and Team Cruz. FIST-ta-CUFF Radio Show #123 with Bubba Jenkins, Shane Del Rosario & Rener Gracie
Show 123 and it’s time to open back up the barber shop. Our first guest is stepping into the shop and ready to talk his wrestling career where he did nothing but win, and his plans to do the same in the cage. A Heavyweight coming back from a car accident who just signed to the UFC, and a man who could crush you on the mat and so could over half his family. C’mon tell me you aren’t excited about this show! Our first guest was a member of the Penn State Wrestling squad before being asked to not return. He did what most guys would do, he went home. Unlike most guys though he picked up right where he left off and joined the Arizona State squad where he ended up pinning his former teams new Freshman to win the National Title. That’s right Bubba Jenkins is in the shop fresh off his pro debut where it only took him two minutes and some change. We will talk to Bubba about his turn to MMA, his wrestling days, and so much more. All I can tell you is that the man brings fireworks on the mat, inside the cage, and you don’t think you are going to get fireworks when the man is up in the Barber Shop. In the words of Ed Lover, C’MON SON! This is one Bubba Jenkins interview you won’t want to miss cause we do it like no one else! Follow Bubba on Twitter at @2sinsurrJenkins Our second guest is none other than the newest Heavy weight signed to the UFC with the recent Strikeforce purchase; Shane Del Rosario is back in the building and about to put his name on the map! Shane is looking to make a splash in the deepest HW Division in the world and is bringing with him his World Class Muay Thai. In case you didn’t know Shane is the first American to ever win the WBC Muay Thai World Heavyweight title. Shane is bringing to the octagon a 11-0 record with 10 of his wins coming in the first round. Shane has been off the grid and out of the sport for a minute as he was involved in a car accident and has been sidelined with back problems. We will talk to Shane about having to deal with the injury, the thought of his career being over, signing with the UFC, the new competition and much more. Trust me if you caught our interview on camera with Shane back in Anaheim you won’t want to miss this one. I am sure that Shane is hyped to be in the UFC almost as much as he is to be back in the shop! Okay so if I say the last name Gracie who do you think of? I mean you could think of Royce, Rorion, or maybe even Helio, but what about the new generation? Well our next guest is just

We have a Gazelle, a Polish Experiment, and a man that is so nasty on the ground he could give you nightmares, and a BIG CATCH to wrap up the show. Our first guest is looking to rack up another win in the octagon in his second fight for the UFC. His first fight ended in the first round and with him walking away with a nice TKO highlight. I’m talking about Walel “The Gazelle” Watson who is no stranger to the show. We will be talking to Walel Watson about his upcoming scrap against Yves Jabouin at UFC 140. Walel Watson is a man that always brings it to his opponent inside the cage and this fight should be no different. We will talk to Walel about his UFC debut, his current opponent, and we will have to ask him if he’s googled himself lately or checked out his UFC profile just to give him a hard time… Don’t miss what promises to be a great interview with Walel “The Gazelle” Watson and follow him on twitter at @135Gazelle Next up is a man that might be the best teacher of the twister and rubber guard in the sport. Show 103: Team Lloyd Irvin TAKEOVER
This show is going to sweep you of your feet and end up mounting you and making you tap from every direction. This show we take things to the mat and all I can say is I hope you’re ready to roll. This show is all Team Lloyd Irvin and the show is stacked with two guys who are tearing up the world in Jiu-Jitsu. We have a Hulk back in the house, ready to chop it up and last but not least the man who is teaching them all, and putting out beasts like he has a machine. Our first guest Jimmy Harbison is the only man in Team Lloyd Irvin history to win the “Grand Slam!” of Jiu-Jitsu. Okay you may be asking what is the grand slam of Jiu-Jitsu. Jimmy Harbison ripped up the 2011 IBJJF tournament season winning the 2011 European Jiu-Jitsu Championships, the 2011 Pan American Jiu-JitsuChampionships, 2011 Brazilian Nationals in Rio De Janeiro Brazil, and was crowed the 2011 Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Brown Belt World Champion. Okay if you don’t realize how bad that is, like I said he is the first person in Team Lloyd Irvin history to do it! Jimmy also just recently received his Black Belt from Master Lloyd Irvin. We will have plenty to talk to Jimmy about. Get ready to be introduced to one of the world’s toughest guys on the mat. Our next guest is a superhero on the mat and has no problem taking your back, hence his nickname being Spiderman! JT “Spiderman” Torres was the first Non Brazilian to medal at Brazilian Nationals In the Black Belt Lightweight Division(widely considered the toughest division in Brazil) and the second non Brazilian to medal at all(Black Belt). JT received his nickname due to the crazy grip he posses, teammates say it’s similar to a spider grabbing its prey in its web. JT not only has his Black Belt in Jiu-Jitsu, but he was a Karate Black Belt before he ever started his ground game. Had it not been for JT being cut from his High School basketball team we might not have seen Spiderman own Jiu-Jitsu at such a young age. I mean JT did get his blue belt in six months. Wait till we talk to JT and allow him to talk about his journey. Follow JT on Twitter at @JTorresBJJ You want The Hulk, we will give you the Hulk! Mike “The Hulk” Easton is back on the show and believe that we can’t wait to talk to one of the baddest Bantamweights in the world. With Mike being a Black Belt under Master Lloyd Irvin you would expect him to be a submission artist and most of his wins by way of submission, but you would be wrong. Mike got his nickname cause he

We will talk to Gil about his own boxing gym, Randy’s retirement, and who knows what else it’s show 100 and we have Gil Martinez can you ask for much more? Follow Gil on twitter at @mastermitter If you know anything about this show I’m a Junkie and Drew is a huge Junkie. No c’mon now I don’t mean that kind of Junkie Drew is a good guy… I mean as in the best MMA Radio show in the nation, world, wherever you listen to your MMA Radio fix Junkie has it going on! These guys are a big part of why I stayed doing the show. When I say these guys I should say guys and gal. Show 97: Shamar Bailey, Krzysztof Soszynski, Joey Beltran & Mark Munoz
Show 97 and we are less than a month out from hitting the Century Mark! This show is stacked with talent coming into another big UFC Fight Card. We got our man from this season of the Ultimate Fighter wrapping up the season with us. A man who has wrestled professionally and it’s not Brock, a man known as the Mexicutioner, and a man inducted into the California Wrestling Hall of Fame. Our first guest has been here every week that the show has been on this season, and when I say show I mean The Ultimate Fighter Season 13. Shamar Bailey is back and this time we have him on after the biggest fight of his career. Shamar will be stepping into the ring for the season finale of TUF 13, (so I assume, as this write up is done before any announcement) No one is certain on Shamar’s opponent over here with the show, but I am willing to bet the house that we see him against a guy that was blessed on the score cards the last time they fought. Yes I think Shamar is fighting Cris Cope. We will have to wait and see as nothing has been announce when this write up goes up, but if I’m wrong it will give us even more to talk about after his fight. Follow Shamar at @ShamarBailey on twitter and GOOD LUCK FROM ALL OF US SHAMAR, DO WORK!!!! Our next guest is not coming onto the show for his first time and this won’t be his first time stepping up to the plate and fighting a very game opponent. Krzysztof Soszynski is set to take on Igor Pokrajac at UFC 131 Dos Santos Vs. Carwin. Krzysztof is a guy that you have to respect, not only has he competed in this sport at the highest level, but he has been a Body Builder, Pro Wrestler, and promoted MMA Events on his own. We got a ton to talk to Krzysztof about and you know with a fight like the one he has coming up we can talk for hours with this kat about his training, and so much more. If you guys have any questions for Krzysztof remember the show lines are open all show and we welcome callers. You can follow Krzysztof on twitter @KSOSufc Our next guest has been on this show enough to be considered family. We’ve had him on camera and on the show a few times. You guys should be happy to know that we got the heavy handed Mexicutioner on the show for yall. Joey Beltran is dropping in to talk about his up-coming match up with Aaron Rosa. Joey has had his opponent changed a few times leading into this fight and we will talk to him about the hassle of having to change his game plan. Joey is known to be heavy handed and have a huge gas

Show 91 and we got some Easter Gifts for everyone. Who cares about the fact that the Easter Bunny brought people eggs today, we are bringing you our man off TUF13, a girl who’s beauty will make stupid at least twice in this interview, A former UFC HeavyWeight who has won multiple Kickboxing Championships, oh and a guy from Alliance who has two belts on the shelf… Might I add they look oh so nice! Make sure to catch this show or you should probably lay down in traffic and consider your life over. (Okay it might not be that drastic, but I hope you at least think about it, if you miss this show.) Our first guest is back in his normal time slot, the one and only Shamar Bailey. We talked with Shamar about Coach Lew Polley and some of the teammates thinking he was pushing them to hard. Shamar was cut last week in camp and the doctor didn’t think it would be good for him to continue. Tune into this week’s episode as Shamar is set up as he claimed on the show last week, and I am sure there will be more drama and more craziness. C’mon it is The Ultimate Fighter we are talking about. Shamar will break down the episode and what happened with him. We love breaking it down with Shamar and if you listen to any weekly update on this season, Shamar is your man to listen to believe that. Our next guest is one that needs little introduction or reason for us bringing on the show. Not only is she drop dead gorgeous but she is pretty enough to bring you back to life. No joke, girl got that brunette hair and body that could turn a gay dude straight. Okay enough about how amazing this girl looks, we don’t just bring on girls cause they are pretty. Jennifer is not just a model (I’m sure she could survive off that alone, but…) she also writes for TapOut magazine. Did I mention that she also is the co-host of B-Real TV. (I think I’m in love…) She loves MMA (Check) She chills with gangster ass kats (check) she has dark hair (Check) Jennifer when we getting married?? ha-ha. This is one interview I can’t wait to go down, I don’t think the well of topics will run dry with Ms. Tapout so tune in, cause I’m closing the phone lines for this one… I don’t need any drunk wingmen calling in. If I told you that our next guest was a champ before he stepped onto the set of The Ultimate Fighters: Heavyweight season would you know who I was talking about? What if I said that he started kickboxing at 5 and dropped out of school to move to Thailand at 15… yeah already

Danny Downes is our first guest in the NewBreed Radio takeover. If you don’t know who Danny Downes is well let me give you some quick facts. Danny once saved a school bus full of cheerleaders, and has solved 3 major bank robberies in his Pro MMA career. Okay so I made all that shit up, but Danny is one of the new UFC Fighters thanks to the WEC Merger that you better keep an eye on. Danny is 7-1 as a pro with his only loss coming from Chris Horodecki, on a fight Danny took on days notice.. How hard is that, I told yall to watch this kid.
