30. Personal Reflections for 2021
Though some thought it might never end, 2020 is now only 48 hours away from becoming a near memory of the past - joining thousands of other years in the ever-accumulating book of time. And although 2020 will largely be remembered as one of the “worst” years of our modern lives, 2020 will always be special to us in that it gave birth to FinalVibe. Because of that, we bring you episode 30 as a collection of personal reflections from FinalVibe CEO Kevin Reape. As Kevin reminds us all, “a crisis is a terrible thing to waste.”In this very unique solo episode, Kevin speaks openly about the deeper origins of FinalVibe. More specifically, you’ll hear him monologue about his thoughts on death, whether religion or science or something else is “getting it right,” and whether or not the way we live within our very limited perspectives matters. As you’ll hear him say, FinalVibe doesn’t have the answer for you or anyone else. But what FinalVibe does offer us all is the opportunity to redefine our lives through legacy. For some, that will mean prioritizing their health. For others, it might mean starting a new business or learning a new career skill. And for others yet, it could mean going back to school, starting a family, or even starting your own podcast. As cliche as it may seem, the possibilities really are endless. All in all, the point of episode 30 is to encourage everyone to think deeply about your existence and what story you’d like to tell with the life you’ve been given. In 367 days, 2021 will be over just as soon as it started. Will you experience it to the fullest or let it fall short? If you enjoyed our podcast in 2020, would you consider leaving us a positive review on your streaming platform of choice? Your kind words help more people find our podcast more easily, which allows us to spread the FinalVibe lifestyle to new audiences every day. Thank you so much for your continued support.Learn more about FinalVibe at FinalVibe.com, or on Instagram @FinalVibe.

29. Why Generosity Might Be Good for the Mind and Soul
Adam Tilley is a financial advisor, which means he operates in the business of money and how it can be saved, invested, or squandered. And, given that money is one of the most important resources in all of our lives, we thought it made sense to pick Adam’s brain about what it might mean to live out the FinalVibe lifestyle with your pocketbook. A few interesting topics we touch on include:- Is there a right way to “do money?”- To what extent should we spend our money on ourselves over others and those in need?- Can money buy happiness? And, of course, much much more.Adam is also a husband and a father of a beautiful daughter, which adds a nice legacy-centered twist to his newly developed perspective on life since taking on the responsibility of parenthood. For a bit of fun banter at the end, we also discuss Missouri Tiger football, how Mr. Goodcents ranks in terms of bread quality against its major competitors, and how much protein Adam eats on a daily basis. You knew it was coming. If you’ve been enjoying our podcast, would you consider leaving us a positive review on your streaming platform of choice? Dropping us a favorable comment or two helps more people find our podcast more easily, and - we’ll be honest - we like that idea quite a bit. Thanks so much to everyone for your continued support! Have an amazing week.

28. What is FinalVibe?
One of the most frequent comments we get from those interacting with FinalVibe for the first time is this: "I don’t get it. It seems intriguing, but I don’t get it. Is FinalVibe something you do? A club? What is it?”We’re glad you asked, which is why we’ve dedicated an entire episode to elaborating on that very question. What is FinalVibe? What was it designed to be and what has it become? And perhaps most importantly of all, how you can start taking practical steps today toward crafting the legacy you’ll one day leave behind? As Kevin has said on numerous occasions, we believe FinalVibe is for everyone, but it won’t be for everyone all the time. There is a time to be ambitious and a time to sit and wait, but the beauty of FinalVibe is that living a legacy-minded life searches for meaning across all seasons. And, of course, remember that whether you decide to channel the FinalVibe mentality in your own life is 100% up to you. We’re just here to provide the resources and motivations for those who decide to take the risk. This episode also touches on the power of perspective, how failure might be the most common denominator among wildly successful people, and why we’re thankful for JK Rowling and the Harry Potter universe. If you’ve been enjoying our podcast, would you consider leaving us a positive review on your streaming platform of choice? Dropping us a favorable comment or two helps more people find our podcast more easily, and - we’ll be honest - we like that idea. Thanks so much to everyone for your continued support.

27. John Green on Perspective
John Green is a husband, a father, and a video game coach, but that doesn’t speak in the slightest to his eloquent thoughts on the power of perspective and its ability to create change. In fact, we’re pretty sure episode 27 is now home to one of the most thought-provoking monologues this podcast has seen to date, which makes this particular chat one you won’t want to miss.Trust me when we say this is not a boring listen. From start to finish, we discuss John’s journey from what he would describe as an “awkward” kid with a prodigy-like mind all the way through big money success in the mortgage and banking industry to his current pitstop of being a trailblazer of the increasingly massive esports industry. We also touch on why he’d rather read a well-written instruction manual over "Lord of the Rings,” his expertise in the areas of change for personal growth and development, and why living a life without expectations can lead you into happiness and away from toxicity.Like we said, you won’t want to skip this one.Lastly, if you can honestly say that you are enjoying the FinalVibe Podcast, we couldn't be happier! We would also be wildly grateful for a quick five-star review on your streaming platform of choice. As always, thanks so much for listening.

26. How to Live Out the FinalVibe Lifestyle in Your Relationships
A common answer we get when we ask people about their legacy is that people want to be remembered for having meaningful relationships. And for that reason, we decided to dedicate an entire podcast to thinking out loud about what it could mean to live out the FinalVibe lifestyle relationally. What does it look like to pursue legacy-minded friendships? How can the FinalVibe mindset positively impact your marriage? And is it possible to write a better story for yourself and those around you by pressing more deeply into meaningful relationships with those who aren’t as naturally easy to connect with?Whether this is your first time listening in with us or your twenty-sixth, we hope you’ll feel challenged for the better in terms of how to love those around you well.On a lighter note, we also provide a handful of exciting updates on the FinalVibe front, which include our announcement of the FinalVibe 365 template, the addition of authentic leather FinalVibe journals to capture your written legacy, and a bit of branding redesign. And, of course, we update you on how our epic 10,000 calorie challenge went earlier this month. If you’ve been enjoying our solo episodes, how about showing a little love by dropping us a favorable review on your favorite streaming platform? We can’t tell you how much we would appreciate it.Learn more about FinalVibe at FinalVibe.com.

25. Redesigning Yourself through Adversity with Gina McGinnis
Our twenty-fifth episode is an extremely special episode in that we welcome our first repeat guest, Gina McGinnis, back to the show! Gina was featured on the sixth episode of the FinalVibe Podcast where she shared her thoughts on how to exude positivity in all facets of life. And, if you remember correctly, Gina had also set out on an ambitious goal to lose 100 pounds of body fat in an attempt to regain control of her health and wellness.Today, we were able to hear exactly how that adventure is going. How far has she made it? How many pounds has she lost? How has she done it? And what have the greatest obstacles been? This episode is also rich with talk about the skill of navigating adversity for the sake of pursuing any goal to the end. Because as it turns out, every adventure is easiest in the beginning - when you’re close to home and you can still taste and see everything that was familiar for so long. But it’s when you’ve long left your place of origin in the dust when most of us are faced with the true challenge of achieving any goal - pressing through the unknown and overcoming the fear of knowing the hardest parts are yet to come. You’ll also be tickled to know that Gina is officially launching her own life coaching business! We also chat about time management, whether or not how you treat people matters, and why human beings seem to be so drawn to meaningful relationships. And, on a much lighter note, we dive headfirst into Bachelorette gossip, the possibility of Kevin one day taking over Chris Harrison’s job, and the mystery of the enneagram. If you do happen to be enjoying the FinalVibe podcast, consider giving us a positive review on your platform of choice. We sure would appreciate it, and you can tap yourself twice on the back for having knocked out your good deed of the day.

24. Learning Through the Pursuit of Legacy with Tony Rigdon
For episode 24 of the FinalVibe Podcast we welcome husband, father, and triathlon enthusiast Tony Rigdon to the studio! In the first portion of our chat, we have an interesting discussion about cheating in the sport of endurance sport. How does it happen? Why does it happen? And what about Tony's past led him to be so passionate about justice and the perpetually difficult balance between right and wrong?Beyond that, we go into detail about Tony's upbringing and how he became the person he is today. How has the recent death of his parents impacted his own understanding of legacy and the stories we will all leave behind? How has becoming a husband changed his pursuit? And perhaps most interestingly, how does he think about legacy as a father of a young daughter? And to be honest, that's just the beginning of it. Tony's story is full of all kinds of twists and turns, but one thing was abundantly clear: Tony’s definition of legacy is making sure those who come after him are taken care of. According to him, it's about leaving good memories for those that you loved, and we couldn't agree more.To name a few more exciting bits from this episode, you'll also find that Tony and his wife paid off six figures of debt in record time! There is legacy in finance, and he is certainly living proof of that. We also discuss the origin of his competitive spirit and how he was able to complete California's gnarliest 100-mile bike ride before he could even legally obtain a driving permit. Long story short, this episode is bound to entertain you in new and unique ways.If you do happen to be enjoying the FinalVibe podcast, consider giving us a positive review on your platform of choice. We sure would appreciate it, and you can tap yourself twice on the back for having knocked out your good deed of the day.
