Film Triggers 040 - Schindler's Report, If You Can
The 12 Days of Spielbergmas™ are certainly coming to a middle! But the quality is higher than middling! We discuss Schindler's List, Minority Report, and Catch Me If You Can. Spielberg makes the most important movie of all time (discuss), then we inexplicably skip the rest of the 90's and lots of interesting work to jump to 2002 when he release 2 great, very fun movies. Next episode we discuss TinTin, Lincoln, and Bridge of Spies. So yeah, we're skipping the entirety of the aughts. I guess. And then we're done with Spielberg, for awhile. I guess. Whatever. Our guests today are Kaitlyn Yang, VFX Supervisore, and Adhish Yajnik, whose name I butchered due to inadvertent racism? Seriously though, is Yajnik harder to pronounce than Seawright? It doesn't even have any silent letters, unlike the 3 useless vestigial letters in my dumb name. Erg. Whatever. They work at (and Kaitlyn runs) Alpha Studios, a VFX house in Burbank, CA, and they know things, you should listen to what they have to say. We produce things for large and small companies, and sometimes our enormous YouTube audience. Thanks for listening and sharing.
