Episode 5: BlackLivesMatter
Kate researched and found 128 names that Rosey reads aloud in this very real, very raw episode. 128 names of black people who were murdered this year by police officers. The most upsetting aspect of this heartbreaking list is, however, that it is not exhaustive. And it was very difficult to compile. Through her research, Kate found that it was near impossible to find bios for the individuals named other than criminal rap sheets; evidence of the dehumanizing of POC in which the media so willingly participates. Join us for some important information on BlackLivesMatter, police brutality, and race relations in the United States as Rosey gets personal about her own family during this time of heartbreak and tension.

Episode 4: Religious Gummy Bears Part 3
This example is a prime example of how ADHD and over-caffeination make for some interesting observations, albeit off-topic ones. Along with squirrel parties and bug bites, we discuss some more apparent examples of Christian privilege, those in the public school system. Everything from teaching creationism alongside evolution in sciences classes to requiring students to recite the pledge of allegiance, which includes the words "under God" are examples of the way Christian privilege erases other religions and those who choose not to practice religion at all.

Episode 3: Religious Gummy Bears Part 2
Our conversation about Christian privilege continues as we discuss how politicians sometimes serve their faith over the best interests of the people. Prepare yourselves for epic rants about parents making medical decisions based on their faith rather than the guidance of medical professionals, anti-vaxxers, and Kentucky Governor Matt Bevin who is making decisions that have drastic consequences for Kentucky women and children.

Episode 2.5: Religious Gummy Bears Addendum
We felt a responsibility to issue a statement about the recent Brock Turner rape case as it relates to Episode 2 and our discussion of the bills attempting to determine where transgender and gender nonconforming individuals can use the restroom. Please tune into this impassioned conversation about rape, sexual assault, bigotry, and hate.
