Erin and Kelly talk about Junior's first birthday. Wow does time fly! We also discuss how other people see and relate to our family, or at least try to figure us out. 

Erin celebrates turning 40 on air with Kelly and some bubbly. They discuss the planning, challenges and compromises around Erin's upcoming return to work after maternity leave.

This episode starts out with a special kid guest star! We interview our Ginger Gent and ask him what it's like to be a kid from a donor, along with some other fun.  Then we dig into some heavier topics that brought us to where we are today. We talk about death, abortion, and grief, so this may be a bit triggering for some of our listeners. These difficult moments in our lives that have helped us to form a deeper bond and our family of choice.  We got here with lots of luck and loss!

Erin gets up from a nap to record this last episode for Season 1. She's 39 weeks and can you tell that she's out of breath? Kelly is excited and ready to cuddle a baby, but she has to make the "pad-cicles" first. 

Erin and Kelly discuss their recent prenatal class and videos of live births (woah). Kelly tells us how things went totally sideways for her, but she got a lovely healthy guy in the end. Erin and Kelly discuss self-care during pregnancy and parenting. Erin updates us on her experiences during the second trimester and there is a GENDER REVEAL! Be warned… there are some graphic details “the baby was pushing on” what?!

Erin updates us on the result of insemination #3. Kelly talks about the challenges of parenting and adjusting to their new living arrangements. SPOILER ALERT: there were some tears!
