Donald Trump has returned to make fanfiction great again. That’s right. Have you ever heard Fanfic Maker? Whether you said yes or no, trust us, YOU’RE IN FOR A TREAT! As you may know, there are a gazillion fanfic sites where you can enter in character names and story ideas, and they’ll populate into a story for you. So, Mark decided to surprise Kyle with a couple stories he was going to create. He asked Kyle to give him four characters, whether they were real or fictional. His four ideas? Yosemite Sam, Slimer, The Lorax, and… Cher. Yep. Mark did the same. His characters? Gary Busey, Hillary Clinton, Adolf Hitler, and Babs Bunny from Tiny Toons. Oh, and Mark added the character ‘Kyle Andrews’ to Kyle’s story while adding ‘Mark Cotoia’ to his own. Mark’s story was apparently a sequel to “The Forbidden Passions of Babs Bunny,” which is odd since the randomly generated story never mentions Babs Bunny a single time. A complete shit show. Jessica Jones We’re celebrating Jessica Jones and its return to Netflix! Jessica Jones is back on Netflix and we are exxxxciiiiited. So much so, in fact, that we’ve dedicated a whole episode to her this week. Kyle and Mark share a fanfic from guest author theshippingprince (same name on AO3 as well) called “The First Step to Falling In Love (is Asking: Who the Fuck is This?)” We know, we like the title too. The premise? Jessica Jones is a college freshman trying to escape her past. Elsewhere, Matt Murdock (Daredevil) is trying to make a name for himself. It’s a stories of how their lives intersect, all told through emails, text messages and memos. It’s a really fun concept, and Kyle and Mark enjoyed it thoroughly! It’s time for the Oscars, bay-bay! That’s right, just like last year, we’re back with another Oscars edition of the podcast. And just like last year, Kyle doesn’t know a fucking thing about the Best Picture nominees. So he took it upon himself to write up premises for what he THINKS they’re about, based on the movie titles. Mark hasn’t seen all of them, so he wrote up premises for what he WISHES they were about. Turns out some of their ideas are better than the actual movies! Some of them are probably very fanfiction story-worthy, if you ask us. Hint, hint.
