As two people who thought our semi-above average running skills would make hiking a cake-walk, we were completely blindsided by the challenges hiking has to offer on our quest to elevate Stef's Instagram above all other teenage girls' Instagrams. The past few weeks have been a very difficult and sad time for all of us. It has brought to light all of the work we need to do as a society in order to uplift the Black Lives Matter movement and play our part as allies. In this episode, we talk about the different ways that we have spent reflecting and educating ourselves this past week. Through a myriad of videos such as, Trial by Media, Police: Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, and the documentary 13th, we found a greater understanding of this big issue. We hope that by sharing this conversation, we can all begin to learn together.
