Ep. 15: Resolutions + Revelations
I have been cultivating the habit of completing an annual review for the last few years. I have grown to love the habit of intentionally sitting down to chart my progress and to plan for the upcoming years. I also take inventory of my life, list out my failures as well as weakness, so that I can be proactive about working on them, so that I can continually improve. Self- Reflection is key when you want to grow and level up.     Around 40–50% of Americans say they make New Year’s resolutions. Few are able to stick with their resolution. Without a strategy, resolutions merely reflect hopes and dreams, rather than realized outcomes.

We are in the new year, setting intentions, creating vision boards, and setting goals, in anticipation for having the best year ever. I think reflection on the past year is important and needed, we must consider the the challenges as well, you know the things that we dealt with and overcame. While we are looking to the future, let's also make time to think about the things that we need to leave behind that are no longer serving us.  In this episode I cover some of the things you need to focus on leaving in 2018, so that you can focus on 2019 and all the things that come with it.

Ep. 12: Bloom with Brittany Traveste
On this episode I chat with Brittany about everything from being a teacher, to self-publishing her own book, Bloom and so many things in between. I loved that her spirituality is woven into her core and oozes out in her everyday conversation. Brittany Travesté Epps is a self-published writer, poet and cultivator of black girl magic. She credits her mother for nurturing her love for literature. From a young age, Brittany sought to share her most intimate thoughts through written word. Ep. 2 : Audio Affirmations: Set Your Self Up Success
If you believe the phrase you are what you think, then life truly stems from your thoughts. But we cannot rely purely on thoughts; we must translate thoughts into words and eventually into actions in order to manifest our intentions.

Affirmations strengthen us by helping us believe in the potential of something we desire to manifest. When we verbally affirm our dreams and ambitions, we are empowered with a deep sense of confidence and faith that our words will become reality.
