This week the boys divulge their "holy grail" issue, the one comic they hold most dear above all.  Oddly enough, none make it to the desert island discussion.  The aftermath of the 100th issue of Walking Dead brings about a heated debate in regards to the series future. In addition, Corry gives a run down of the San Diego Comic-Con Movie reveals, which somehow always leads back to Ant-Man.

This week the cast of The Evolution Of A Fanboy podcast cast their predictions for The Walking Dead Issue #100.  No character is safe as Corry continues his one man rage fest against Carl.  Marvel Now! is discussed and manages to disappoint all but Pete.  In addition, The Amazing Spider-Man movie is dissected at length, from loner webhead's new obsession with aggressive skateboarding to unwarranted union work.  With great power comes great box-office responsibility!

Originally titled "Behind the Origin: Superheroes", our boys discuss their favorite comic character origin stories.  In addition, our nation's birthday sparked a conversation in regards to the most patriotic of comic characters and, despite all preconceived notions, Captain America is not top of the list.

This week the boys tackle the movie paradox's known as "Cult Films".  What makes a cult film?  What constitutes a cult director or actor?  Is Magic Mike really the next cult flick or did the boys just decide to take an unavoidable left turn with a Magic Mike / Super Hereo mashup?

The crew celebrates Tom's seventeenth birthday by discussing just how much Batman #10 let the everyone down.  In addition, a walk down cartoon memory lane is taken as the boys talk cartoons, both new and old.  The hay day of Adult Swim, Hey Arnold, and Scooby [bleep]ing Doo are just a taste of awesome from the conversation that commence's.

Tom takes over for Corry in this weeks Evolution Of A Fanboy podcast which covers the highlights of E3, the good, the bad, and the ugly within the gaming industry, the epic lameness that is becoming Avengers Vs X-Men, and the all mighty powers that are Franklin Richards and Carl Grimes.

This week the crew dives deep into the then and now of Image comics.  20 years of Image comics has lead to a deep discussion about the creation of Image comics, the content flood of the nineties, poorly drawn feet, Kirkman's reputability, and Tom's new found love.  Also, the boys give the do's and don'ts of how to get your girl into comics.

This week on the Evolution of a Fanboy podcast the fanboys debate the morality of DC's "New 52" .  Not surprising to anyone, the conversation quickly moves from "Before Watchmen" to Aquaman's credibility in comparison to Hawkeye.  The Penny Tumbler is also brought up for, most likely, the first time in the past decade.  

This week the boys dig deep into those repressed nerdy memories as they tell the tale of what brought them into fanboy culture.  Tom makes an amazing return and manages to not only bother Corry, but Don as well!  The definition of literature is argued, what makes a nerd is discussed, Pete's attic full of cover-less comics is discovered, and Joe's fascination/domination with table top gaming is mocked.  Evolution of a Fanboy.... it's like comic-con for your ears.

The Evolution Of A Fanboy cast once again tackles the nerdiest of issues; the current quality of fanboy movies, what comic to TV adaptations should be pursued, the importance of Pym Particle Technology (TM), and just how (ir)relevant the Watcher really is.

The week the cast is minus a Tom but plus a Don!  The crew is joined by the 3rd member of the Zapp's five man team and he brings the heat as Marvel's "The Avengers" movie is discussed at length.  The movie is reviewed, nit picked, and hypotheticalized in a fashion only true Fanboy's can.  Also, the guys throw out their picks for possible future members of the Avengers movie team and yes, for those wondering, M.O.D.O.K. is in the running.  NerdVengers Assemble!

This week our lovable bunch of nerds discuss exactly what makes a villain so villainy.  Crickets begin to chirp as Joe brings up Anime, an in depth discussion of just how Governor'y Rick Grimes has become occurs, and news about the ensuing free comic book day is dropped.  Evolution of a Fanboy podcast.... it's like comic-con for your ears.

This week our comic-enthusiasts answer some fan questions and although the most powerful superhero/villain is discussed, M.O.D.O.K was amazingly not mentioned (However, Starman makes a strong showing).  Avengers Vs X-Men #2 is somehow compared to Homer's epic poetry and the Fanboy's share a piece of their heart as they share the tales of the stories that touched their nerdy cores.

This week the Fanboy's talk to great lengths about Batman's extensive collection of quality villains.  Penguin's finances are questioned, Signal man is discussed for the first time in years, Joe and Pete actually agree on something, and Clayface's extensive family history is broken down.  Also, Marty McFly's family awkwardness is tackled as we answer our first ever Evolution Of A Fanboy listener question!  

This week the crew lets their fanboy rage fly as the significance (or lack there of) of a superheros death is discussed.  Joe demands Avengers VS X-Men ends with a Phoenix force M.O.D.O.K. and Tom continues to force re-cuts upon the editor.  SKRAZzKOOM!

This week the crew debates just how much of a role Colossus's hair is going to play in Marvel's Avengers VS X-Men event, whether Amazing Spider-Man, The Avengers, or The Dark Knight Rises will take the number one spot at the box office this summer, if Bruce Willis is just to old/crusty to play a Government Issued Joe, and the premise of Law and Order: Hell's Kitchen.

This week the cast makes their predictions on just how good/bad Marvels next big event, Avengers VS X-Men, will be.  However the bulk of the podcast centers around the ongoing debate between the comic and TV incarnations of The Walking Dead.  Nerd opinions flare as Playboy's comic publication is discussed and spoiler alerts are issued.  Enjoy!
