Everything Happens In Its Own Time, On Its Own Terms
Here I discuss how things tend to happen in their own time, on the own terms and how our forcing things to happen (somewhat counter-intuitively) often delays or prevents them from happening at all!

Societal Depression
In today's episode, I explain my evolution of how I conceptualised my anxiety/depression eventually coming to understand that I wasn't to blame and how neither are you for the negative thoughts/feelings/emotions you may have towards yourself and life in general. Ultimately, its most difficult to find contentment within the container we call society. Here I explain why.

The Importance of a Daily Routine
After an unplanned absence that I can put down to nothing more than absent mindedness, I am back today with an episode discussing the importance of daily routine, especially during lockdown when we have even more time and inclination to indulge in our default destructive behaviours. I use my daily routine as a case study (sounds very formal) of sorts, which whilst on the extreme side (it has been refined over many years rather than implemented all at once), may give you some inspiration about how you can structure your day and avoid the pitfalls associated with lockdown. Please enjoy and, if you would be so kind, like, rate, review etc the episode so that it becomes more accessible to others. Much love

The day I became a Technophobe
It happens to the best of us. At age 36, I succumbed to becoming a technophobe for what felt like the first time in my life - surely there have been previous examples but this time I noticed and felt it, which is the difference. Its a bit like when you forget things when you're younger, you don't worry that you are losing your mind whereas when we forget stuff as we age, we fear that we are losing our marbles, which only serves to accelerate the marble losing process. Anyway, here I articulate how and why people might become technophobes. Hopefully, it will help you find a little more compassion for those afflicted including you yourself, if applicable

You Can Only Connect The Dots Looking Backward
Steve Jobs famously said "You can only connect the dots looking backward". Your heart already knows what you want. That is, it is one step ahead of the mind. Here I explain how to follow the dots in the first place!

When Winning Becomes Losing and Losing Becomes Winning
In this episode, I recount a situation involving my brother in which he had the appearance of winning and I had the appearance of losing but as you have now hopefully come to see, when it comes to life, nothing is quite what it seems. I also delve quite deeply into my relationship with my brother (with his permission) in order to illuminate some of the hidden games and agendas taking place under the surface of all relationships, especially our closest ones!

The Power of Talking to Yourself
In this episode, I discuss the benefits of my surprising new spiritual practice of talking to myself out loud (on my own of course). This practice can provide surprising benefits and really help you to connect the dots, and to understand yourself on a deeper level. Its the same reason good listeners are so valuable; they allow us to connect with our inner teacher and find the answers that lie within. I recommend that everyone gives this a try and here I explain how in more detail. Please enjoy and let me know how you get on at everythinkaloud@gmail.com

Broken By Society
In this episode, I connect the dots between the broken individual (me especially) and the broken context within which we exist i.e. society. The size and scale of society and the extent to which it is broken is pretty vast, hence the epic length of this podcast! You will tell from my enthusiasm that this is a topic close to my heart. If you can invest the time to listen, hopefully it will be of some benefit to you, society and dear old Mother Earth :-)
38 minutes | Feb 20, 2020
Ayahuasca Tales: Gratitude for EVERYTHING
Today I recount a story from my latest ayahusasca retreat in which I came to see that after years of searching, what I was looking for was right in front of me all along! Please Enjoy!

Dealing with rude people
Today, I discuss being rude (which we all do) and what its like to be on the end of rude people, and how to deal with them - a problem we all encounter in modern society on an increasing basis. I listened back to this episode for quality control (not that I ever change anything - more to check that I haven't been offensive in some way!) a little while back, so to be honest can't remember the ancillary topics I covered when I went off topic, as I invariably do! And, frankly, I don't have time to re-listen because I have tons of new content to listen to! As I said, this is the podcast without make up! Please enjoy!
