  The experience of attending a great concert can be truly impactful. You can feel united to a room of complete strangers. Concerts can bring out the childlike spirit within us, and make us feel free to sing along without reservations. Sometimes, the moments created at these events and the music created can move us to tears. Hopefully, all of us have gone to a concert like that. There’s quite a following for these movie marathons. But don’t worry, we also know that some of you really just can’t stand them. In this episode we’re diving right into the great debate: Hallmark Christmas movies: love em or lose em? And of course, we’ll be connecting this back to our faith, specifically to the Advent season.   Museums: buildings full of old stuff… but not just any old stuff, valued, prized old stuff. Seriously though, museums  really are places of great significance that teach us about art, or science, or history. Much more than just a fun, childhood field trip, they are places designated to conserve and advocate for things of great worth. But what does this have to do with being a Christian?   St. Joseph might be one of the most acknowledged saints of all time. He’s present in our nativity scenes and usually has either a statue or window in our churches. But he might also be one of the least known saints of all time. With no words spoken in Scripture, he can become a bit of a background character. In this episode, we’re taking time to reflect on St. Joseph, and to let the testimony of his life speak to us.   In this episode, we’re talkin airports. Some people enjoy them; some people detest them. Either way, airports are this place of in-between, where lots of waiting takes place as we’re journeying to our final destination. So join us in a conversation, where we connect our travel through airports to our travel through life.

  What is something we all have but definitely don’t pay enough attention to? Hands down, our souls. It can be difficult to even notice our souls. They aren’t spoken of much and there’s a lot of debate on what they actually are. That makes it really hard to understand the role that souls play in our humanness, and how to really take care of them. In this episode, we’re covering a few things the Church has to say about the human soul, like how long the soul is alive and how it relates to the body. We’ll also discuss how these teachings enlighten other areas of our faith, and offer a few practical ways you can care for your soul in everyday moments.

  You probably can’t get more Catholic than this. In this episode, we’re talking all about adoration… which we think might be a helpful thing. Even if this is a type of prayer you’re familiar with, it’s not very often that the traditions behind adoration are explained. There can be a lot of elements to this, especially when the Eucharist is exposed for adoration, and it would probably be good to know why we’re doing what we’re doing. We’re also going to share with you, our One Listeners, our stories of how adoration has really impacted our own faith journeys. So be sure to tune in for those!   Get ready everyone. You’re probably not prepared for Fr Ryan’s strong opinion on – of all things – glitter. (I know, right? Of all the things to get amped up about?!) We’re going to be trekking through this episode and using glitter as an analogy for… sin. Sorry, if glitter is your thing… if that’s the case… maybe skip this one… or listen in and respond with why you think glitter is amazing. Maybe you can come up with an entire analogy of glitter being like grace or something nice and holy. Either way, if you listen in, you’re guaranteed some laughs. And possibly a better formed perspective on sin… and glitter, of course.
