Tom Skinner, demonstrated for Calvin how transformational leadership has spiritual and practical implications. As March celebrates Women’s History Month, we appreciate women’s contributions locally and globally. We also have as our first guest, Attorney Lakenya Middlebrook, to discuss her experience being part of addressing racial inequity in Knox during the 90s at an early age. We also discuss the importance of having youth at the table in the cause for civil progress. Dr. Lundy also shares being one of the first to integrate a school in the early 1990s

The launch of equiKNOX Podcast shares their time going to the Kuumba Fest as youth and leadership experiences that prepared them carry the mantle today.   Calvin Taylor Skinner is a community organizer and  co-founder/convener of One Knox Legacy Coalition.   From high school  youth to high level professionals, Calvin has the unique opportunity to  serve with dynamic leaders from Washington, DC; Philadelphia,  Pennsylvania; New York City; and Knoxville, Tennessee.   Dr. Dasha Lundy is president of the Burlington Residents Association,  trustee of Knoxville College and serves on the Knoxville's Historic  Zoning Commission.  In her free time, she loves to spend time with her  family and read books about leadership and history.
