Magic behind Telemundo's out of this world gol calls
Telemundo's World Cup coverage features nothing but pure emotion. Essentially, its broadcasters deliver the game in its most lively form. From rapid buildup commentary to seemingly unending golazo calls, the play-by-play voices are spectacular. One of those is Sammy Sadovnik, a Peruvian by birth who now calls game with Telemundo. He is one of the lead voices in Telemundo's World Cup coverage. At the 2022 World Cup, he was the voice behind Croatia's penalty shootout win over Japan, Uruguay's heartbreak in the group stage and Argentina's win against Poland. He talks about what this World Cup is like. He is one of the commentators to use the 'Goooooool' calls following a team scoring. Sadovnik even hit 17 seconds in one instance. The broadcaster discusses the physical challenges that come with broadcasting, but how it is all worth it in the long run. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Jordan Gardner Interview: American Investor's Journey In Europe
In this latest edition of the World Soccer Talk Podcast, episode 1443, Kyle Fansler talks to one of the youngest American owners of a European soccer club. Jordan Gardner is the co-owner and co-chairman of FC Helsingør. Helsingør is in the Danish 1st Division, which is the second tier on the Danish soccer pyramid. At under 40 years of age, Gardner took part control over the club back in 2019. Since then, under his leadership, the club earned promotion to the Danish 1st Division. Then, last season, it narrowly missed out on promotion to the Danish Superliga. Gardner brings a modern take on club ownership, which clearly yields success for a club punching above its weight. The use of data and analytics allows Helsingør to fulfill Gardner's aim of the club being a great spot for transfers and development. Gardner also discusses his biggest lessons and favorite moments during his time involved with the European game. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
