Picking a random, though relatively well-regarded, comedy off of Hulu for our show this week? What could go wrong?

Who would’ve thought that we needed a sequel to a 1981 sketch comedy movie about various historical events, least of all that said remake needed to be a streaming series? It can’t have been more than a handful of people and you know what? They were right.

How on earth can we record a podcast about a first episode in which ALL that happens is 100 people say hello to each other and then they stretch 15 minutes of hanging from a jungle gym into a remaining 30 minutes?!? This is the real challenge.

We’ve got a hell of a show we had to watch this week. The least you can do is make it worth all of the pain and misery and leave a rating/review on Apple Podcasts. Just, whatever you do, despite everything I said later in the episode, DO NOT LEAVE 6 ratings/reviews. I DO NOT WANT TO WATCH ANY MORE OF THIS ABOMINATION.

I don’t know whose idea it was to host a podcast about watching streaming exclusive shows…when most are absolute garbage created by people whose dreams were crushed years ago. But I admire their masochism…

If so, this still might not be the show for you because it definitely feels like they’re pandering with a bunch of cameos in episode one and it wouldn’t surprise me if that was the last we see of most of them. This was originally going to be an episode about Copenhagen Cowboy, Nicolas Refn’s latest production. Then I watched 30 minutes of that show and decided that enough was enough. Then I spent 10 minutes looking for a show that hovered around 30 minutes runtime so that I wasn’t wasting my entire morning. Which is where Easy Bake Battle comes in. It’s barely about Easy Bake ovens, but we’re barely a podcast about streaming exclusives any more so it seems fitting.
