Epilepsy & Others (Part 1)
A lot of people think that if you have epilepsy, you were born with it or developed it as a child. But the truth is, 1 in 26 people will be diagnosed with epilepsy in their lifetime. Anyone can develop epilepsy - at any point, at any age. And as the population grows older, more and more adults will develop epilepsy. Nancy Goldfarb is one of those people. Nancy explains what it feels like for her to have a seizure, how her super power is something called an aura, and why the last thing she wants you to do is put a stick in her mouth. To help tell her story, Nancy is joined by her Neurologist and Jefferson University Physician, Dr. Christopher Skidmore.
