How Network Marketers Ignore the Negative Voice Within With Ravin Papiah
E25 How Network Marketers Ignore the Negative Voice Within We all have a voice in our head – a combination of an internal dialogue and a narrator that not only tells our story but also comments on it. Often it is a positive voice, something that we rely on to help give us direction. But when we are struggling with negative thoughts and mental health issues, such as depression and/or anxiety, that voice can guide us down a slippery slope if we’re not careful. If left unchecked, that voice in our head will become louder and louder – practically shouting negative thoughts at us. And those loud thoughts can become more and more negative, making them increasingly more difficult to ignore. As time passes, our mental health issues can become worse and lead to a plethora of symptoms that can affect our overall physical health too. So, what can we do when those negative thoughts start to overpower the more positive ones? Let’s look at some tips for combatting negative thoughts: Recognize Your Negative Thoughts Those voices in our heads just seem to appear out of nowhere. You can’t control them by turning them off, so you need to do the next best thing – identify them as the intruders and flag them for further evaluation. Notice and name them. Once you label these thoughts as negative thoughts you can then begin to evaluate them. Evaluate Your Negative Thoughts Take a moment to replay that thought in your head. Then try to evaluate it by asking yourself these questions: Is it realistic or irrational? Is it based on a fact or on an opinion? What evidence do you have that supports your determination? Most of the time you will find these negative thoughts to be unrealistic opinions. Plus, you will have little to no supporting evidence. And if you can’t remember what questions to ask, then refer to the following quote: “that voice in your head, that says, ‘you can’t do it’, is lying.” – Unknown Adjust Your Perspective or Reframe Your Thoughts If you are still having trouble evaluating your own thoughts, try to adjust your perspective. If a friend came to you with this thought and list of reasons why they believe it is true – what would you say to them? You would likely be able to counter their argument and win the debate. And if that doesn’t work, try reframing your thoughts into something more realistic. Think about how many times that voice in your head has been wrong. Think about how many times that voice has lied to you. Try to remember the last time that voice told you that “you can’t do it.” Did you fail? And if you did fail, how bad was it? Did the worst-case scenario happen? What if Your Negative Thoughts About the Worst-Case Scenario Do Come True? Ask yourself: How bad would the worst-case scenario really be? Would it be life altering? Would you be able to recover from it? Do you see a path to recovery? In the vast majority of situations, the worst-case scenario wouldn’t drastically alter your life. And even if it does, there is an even more likely path to recovery. And here is another important question to ask yourself. When was the last time the worst-case scenario you imagined in your head came true? Did it ever turn out as bad or worse than that negative voice in your head predicted? And even if it did, were you able to recover from it over time? I can help you to put your desire to work. It Never Goes Away – How Network Marketers put limiting beliefs to work for them With Ravin Papiah
E 26 It Never Goes Away – How Network Marketers put limiting beliefs to work for them Have you ever thought to yourself, I’m not good at something and therefore I should avoid that thing? These beliefs often come from a place of negativity and fear that keep us from experiencing new opportunities. Why do we have limiting beliefs? Limiting beliefs, in most cases, are unconscious thoughts, which appear as defence mechanisms to avoid possible frustrations, failure and disappointment. At a time in the past, you may have suffered from something specific, and now when you come face-to-face with a similar situation, your subconscious finds a way to try to block it. A good starting exercise to counteract limiting beliefs is to look for the root of the problem by finding the agent causing such negativity. So, how can you overcome your limiting beliefs? 1. Identify one of your limiting beliefs The first step to overcoming your limited beliefs is in identifying what they are. If you fear there may be multiple limitations, then start with the largest one and then repeat this step with each limiting belief. 2. Recognise that it is just a belief Recognize that your belief may simply be a belief founded on falsities. It is likely to be completely untrue and is just a belief, not a fact. 3. Challenge your own belief Now that you have recognised it is just a belief, rather than a grounded fact, question your belief. Question it by raising such questions as: • Is this belief really grounded? What are the supporting facts? • Did I always think that way? If not, what has changed? • Is there evidence counteracting my belief? • What would it be like to think of the opposites to my belief? • Is this belief helping me to progress towards my goals? • How would I think about this belief if I were someone else (Eg. an entrepreneur, a doctor, a lawyer, Jeff Bezos, Richard Branson…) 4. Recognise the potentially damaging consequences What are the consequences of holding on to your limiting belief? Holding on to the belief that you are not able to reach a next level RANK because you failed your first attempt can deprive you of reaching it in the future and have a better life. 5. Adopt a new belief Choose something new to believe in, something that will help to improve your life. This transition may not be easy. Depending on how long you have thought and lived through what led you to believe what you believe, it may have created an extraordinarily strong emotional bond and rooted the belief very strongly. If you want to go ahead and change you will need to have the strength and courage to make that change in thinking and adopt the new belief. 6. Put it into practice Take action and start implementing things that support your new belief. If your limiting belief told you that you were "too old to start exercising", instead start to adopt an "It is never too late to start" belief and then, today, go for a 15-minute walk to start exercising and create a habit from there. Conditioning yourself to your new beliefs means creating the reality you want for yourself in your mind, visualising the results you want to achieve. Visualisation is a great way to create anticipation. You will mentally experience result you want to achieve. With this, you will be sending congruent signals to your brain, making it work for you. I can help you to have massive success in your life, both personal and professional. How Network Marketers Eliminate Roadblocks to Remain Consistent With Ravin Papiah
E27 How Network Marketers Eliminate Roadblocks to Remain Consistent Are you consistent in your daily business activities or is the only thing you’re consistent with is being inconsistent? If you’re like most network marketers, consistency is not a strength, at least not yet. Many network marketers are only somewhat consistent, meaning they go through spurts. For a few weeks, they connect with their network and send follow-up messages to everyone they’ve connected with in the last few months. Then, they’ll miss a day or two – perhaps something else comes up or they go on vacation or they’re just feeling a bit under the weather. However, those few days off from connecting with their networks slowly turns into weeks. Before long, they’ve fallen off track and are left wondering what happened. By this time of the year, the motivation that carried you all through January has faded. However, being hopped up on motivation will only get you so far; it’s essential to create a successful routine. The term “routine” is not one that inspires millions. In fact, you may have read the word and immediately groaned or made a sour face in response. Routine takes planning. It also takes work and commitment. None of these things elicits excitement. When successful people recount their journeys to success, their routines hardly get a passing mention. That’s unfortunate because routines are the source of any success. Those tasks and activities that you commit to completing daily – no matter what – turn into habits. The habits become a routine. And, once it become a routine it become part of you – like brushing your teeth. “It’s not what we do once in a while that shapes our lives. It’s what we do consistently.” – Anthony Robbins Of course, you have bad days along the way, or days when you just don’t feel like working on your business. But, a funny thing happens when your business activities become a routine – you don’t have to think about doing them anymore. It becomes automatic. So, while you may have a fleeting thought of passing them up for a day, you don’t. To you, it feels as if it takes more effort to NOT connect with your networks and do your other activities than it does to skip it. And that’s often why some are so successful – they have no choice but to succeed! How to cultivate consistency If you’re eager to achieve success, first you have to build the successful habits that are required to reach it. It’s not flashy, but it’s necessary to reach your goals in your business and outside of it. Cultivate the right mindset As with most things, good habits start in your head first. It’s all about your mindset. If your go-to excuse is that you’re just not good at being consistent, then you’re right. Your thoughts can limit how far you’ll go. If you use negative or limiting language, you’re sure to fail before you even start. Your thoughts become your reality so if you say you just can’t get it together enough to become consistent then it’s a self-fulfilling prophecy. However, if you turn your negative thoughts into positive ones, then you’re more likely to build good habits and become consistent. You have faith in yourself and your abilities to follow through with your intentions. This is the perfect setup for success. Make it easier to be consistent It takes time to be consistent in your actions, especially those that pertain to your business.

Belief + Desire + Faith + Potential + ACTION + Empowering Beliefs With Ravin Papiah
E28 – Belief + Desire + Faith + Potential + ACTION + Empowering Beliefs Many people dream of being their own boss. Perhaps they are currently working in an office and feel as if they’re not fulfilled by the work they do. Or maybe they’re stay-at-home parents who want to contribute to the family’s finances. A few take the plunge into network marketing. They dream of making loads of money and living the lifestyle of the most successful network marketers. They see people they know and admire who have become successful network marketers and want to slay every day like them. But it’s often not that easy. You see, success relies upon good habits. I love this article from Eric Johnson, that I am sharing with you. The reality of network marketing What most people don’t see is the hard work it takes to achieve success. Although the most successful business leaders make it all seem effortless, you can bet they experienced a variety of challenges and setbacks along the way. They surely had feelings of doubt and frustration as they plugged away toward their goals. There’s more to achieving success than deciding to start a business. Once you start a business it’s your habits that keep you going and dictate whether or not you succeed. The thing with network marketing is you may be inundated with stories of people who have achieved success using your products or services; however, you don’t have to opportunity to see how they got there (and the habits that got them there). If you have friends who are successful network marketers and you’re struggling, you may wonder why you’re not achieving the same level of success. Again, you’re not there to see what’s going on behind-the-scenes. Often, we hide our struggles from those around us due to shame, embarrassment or fear. Since we typically only see the positive parts of the journey to success, we may feel that it’s abnormal to experience struggle along the way. It’s not abnormal to experience struggle; that’s all part of achieving success! The habits of success Success begins with good habits. Unfortunately, most of us aren’t born with these habits. They don’t automatically populate our bodies once we declare we’re going to start a business (although wouldn’t it be great if they did?). Instead, it takes time, effort, and energy to build these habits and make them part of us. Here are the habits to cultivate to achieve success. Discipline If you want to succeed you have to commit to doing whatever it takes to do so. Commitment takes discipline. Discipline is doing your daily Power Hours and working on your business during that time. This includes following up with customers and prospects, checking in with your team, or watching a short training video to sharpen your skills. Basically, anything intended to move your business forward and grow your network. How to develop the skill: Make a date with your business every day. Choose a time that works best for you so you can be sure to stick with it. Block it out on your calendar and make no other appointments during this time (unless it’s an absolute emergency). Set reminders to help ensure you’ll stick to the time you’ve set. After a few weeks, it’ll begin to become a habit; you’ll just do it automatically. However, those first few weeks, set alarms and reminders to help you succeed in building this habit Focus

How Network Marketers Use PERSISTENCE to advance forward With Ravin Papiah
The majority of people are ready to throw their aims and purposes overboard and give up at first sight of opposition or misfortune. The very few who carry on despite all opposition until they attain their goals are the Carnegies, the Fords, Rockefellers, Edisons, the Gates…. Napoleon Hill says that fortunes gravitate to men whose minds have been prepared to attract them, just as water gravitates to the ocean. To get results you must apply all the rules until their application becomes a fixed habit with you. Occasional effort will be of no value. The lack of persistence (common to the majority of men), may be conquered only through the intensity of the desire. For Network Marketers, this notion of persistence from Think & Grow Rich resonates totally with their work of keeping the burning desire burning. Some people were born with the quality of perseverance. But for most people (including famous businessmen ) it is not innate, it is acquired through training and drilling. There are four simple steps leading to the habit of persistence: Definite purpose backed by burning desire. Definite plan expressed in continuous action. A mind closed tightly against all negative and discouraging influences. Friendly alliance with the people who will encourage you to achieve. I can help you to put your desire to work. Facing Your Network Marketing Lions With Ravin Papiah
There’s a saying that life is what happens while you’re busy planning. While you may try to be ready for every eventuality, setbacks will happen no matter how much you prepare. We’ve all been in a situation in which an obstacle or event has left us feeling intimidated or even frightened. It’s important to view these times not as an invitation to give up but rather as a chance to prove our mettle. 1. Think of someone less fortunate. Remind yourself that what you are going through is relative in nature. Think of others who are facing even bigger obstacles than yourself. Be thankful that your challenges are not as intense. Then take a deep breath, make a plan of action and prepare for both the best and the worst scenarios. Being in the game is half the battle. 2. Reframe your fear. Neuroscience says the more we think about something, the bigger it gets. Acknowledge your fears, acknowledge your sense of feeling overwhelmed and ask yourself, “What’s another perspective? Are my assumptions really true? Could the challenges be reframed as opportunities?” Break things down into bite-sized pieces. Focus on one thing you can control, then the next. It’s normal to feel afraid at times—don’t be harsh on yourself. 3. Engage in self-talk. When fear arises, we are often too quick to react to it, but living it out or pushing it aside only feeds it further. Connect to the truth of the fear. What scares you is what you’re experiencing internally, not externally. Go within. Talk to that part of yourself that’s trying to tell you something, and go past the irrationality of it to find the wisdom behind the fear. Then, courage will emerge. 4. Let go of what you fear to lose. Someone like Deepak Chopra would tell us to practice “detachment” from outcomes, but I think Yoda said it best when he urged that we must train ourselves “to let go of everything you fear to lose.” Fear of losing those things is usually strong enough to prevent us from accepting the loss. If we can imagine a life “without the thing” we can proceed with courage (and be “detached” from the outcome) 5. Break down the action steps. Often when we feel fear our brain makes up worst-case scenarios, which can keep us stuck. Reality-check the obstacle by writing the facts down. Getting over or through the challenge is a series of steps, not a giant leap. Write down the steps of what it will take to get through this and do the first thing on the list and then the next thing. Before you know it, you have tackled the challenge head-on. I can help you to have massive success in your life, both personal and professional. How Network Marketers Embraces the Ugly Wit Ravin Papiah
Network Marketing can be tough, and it takes a lot to keep going! Network Marketers cultivate the skill of persistence to stay on track and keep building their business. What do they do? Persistence is the one thing you need (not want) to have in order to become successful in your NM business. It takes a lot of hard work, effort, and some failures to create a successful NM business. The key is in continuing your efforts and learning from your mistakes. It can be difficult to analyze your failures, but it can mean the difference between success and not progressing as fast as you could. When you know what is working great and what is not, you can change it so you are more productive in your NM business and earn more profits. You can become more persistent if you do not believe that you are. Also, your persistence (if you are a highly persistent person) might fade over time with your NM business endeavors. This requires consistent check-ins and review of your progress to maintaining high levels of persistence. Goals: Write your goals. When you accomplish even the smallest of goals, cross them off of your list when complete. This will help feed your self-confidence and also your business confidence, thus confirming that you can do whatever youdesire! Keep your goals up to date, and don't be afraid to revisit them when necessary. Goal planning takes time to learn how to do effectively, but at the end it pays BIG dividends. If you need to revise a goal, do so without guilt. These are YOUR goals for YOUR business. Plan for successes as well as failures. Everyone falls before they learn to walk, and even then we fall from time to time. The important thing is to focus on what your successes are and why they are successful, then keep doing that – playing on your strengths will increase your success in Network Marketing. The hard but necessary part is to also examine your failures so that you can find out why they didn't work. This will help you stay focused on what is successful instead of wasting your time on work that doesn't turn any profits or accomplishments. Persistence is the one key nearly every successful entrepreneur holds. Without it, there would be no success because everyone would simply give up. You can become more persistent with the right effort, work, determination, and analysis, even if you are not known for being persistent. I can help you build the correct mindset for massive success in your life, both personal and professional. Adversity is only temporary With Ravin Papiah
In the midst of challenging times, we often think we’re going through the worst time ever. And when we’re in the middle of adversity, we think it never ends. That’s why we always say things like, “my life is over!” No, you’re not dramatic. It’s just one of our thinking errors. It’s difficult for us to judge a crisis while we’re in it. In hindsight, it’s much easier. We can look back and think, “I survived that. I will survive other difficult things in the future.” But when we face illness, financial problems, or adversity in our relationships, we’re quick to think it’s THE END. And once we get stuck in a negative thinking pattern, we lose motivation. And what happens when we lose motivation? Right, we give up So how can we get over that? How can we stay motivated during tough times? After going through a lot of adversity (personally and professionally) myself, I’ve learned a few things about staying motivated. I love what Darius Foroux shares: 1. Do something that makes you feel good “Does online shopping count?” No, It does not. You and I both know that buying things gives you temporary pleasure. That’s the last thing you need during adversity. Because if you seek shallow pleasure, you’ll go 60 miles per hour on the Hedonic Treadmill. Your highs will be still high, but the lows will be devastating. Instead, seek lasting pleasure. Don’t know what to do? Here are a few things I like: Organize an activity with friends/family that cheer you up (avoid negative people, even if they are your family) Spend a WHOLE day reading a good book Go for a long walk or run (more than 50 minutes) Hit the sauna Go to the pool—swim a bit and relax a bit Write about what you’ve learned Start learning a new skill We need to boost your dopamine. To do that, we need to reward ourselves (again, don’t buy anything). Do something that makes you enjoy life. That’s my standard. I aim for doing something that makes me say, “Man, I love life.” I can help you to put your desire to work. Addressing adversity With Ravin Papiah
Ask for help Look, seeking pleasure, no matter how profound, is only temporary. To go through adversity successfully, we all need a support system. Don’t try to go through life alone. If you don’t have a support system, create one. Start with your family, if they are no good, seek friends who are in the same position as you are. Having a good spouse also matters. But that’s not the only thing. If you’re struggling, seek help from your co-workers or boss. And don’t be afraid to get therapy. Too often, people feel too proud to ask for support. I’ll tell you this: No one on earth is strong enough to go through all adversity alone. Sure, you might be strong enough to deal with the challenges of life. But there always comes a time when things become “too much.” That’s when you need help. When that time comes: Ask. Write down your biggest fear “What’s the worst thing that can happen?” It’s one of my favorite questions. I learned it years ago from Susan Jeffers’ classic book, Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway! When times are difficult, ask yourself that question Did your company go bust? Did you lose your job? Did you get a divorce? Did you make a bad decision? Well, what’s the worst thing that can happen? Will those things kill you? Probably not. This exercise makes us aware of how irrational and fearful we are. Simply ask the question and spend some time meditating on it. I prefer to write in my journal because writing is thinking. And when you do both things, you become wiser and stronger. Create a plan My second favorite question when dealing with adversity is this: What are you going to do about it? Sitting at home and feeling sorry for yourself is not going to help. We know that. But why do we still feel helpless? Because we’ve trained to become passive. But in recent years, I’ve learned to adopt an active mindset. When I lose motivation, I either come up with a list of things I want to do or set some new goals for myself. And then, I start working on it. When you create a plan, you’re by definition looking at the future. And when we imagine a better future, we start feeling better. And even if you don’t lack motivation, it’s good to look at your goals regularly. Keep reminding yourself of where you’re going and more importantly, WHY you’re going there. That will motivate you like nothing else. Set your sight towards the future, and don’t stop until you’re dead. That might be sooner than you think. So don’t forget to enjoy the process of getting there (which is the ultimate prize). I can help you to have massive success in your life, both personal and professional. Adversity as your ally With Ravin Papiah
E35 Adversity as your ally "I'd like for you to think of adversity as simply stepping-stones to live the life of your dreams," asserts Coach Michael Taylor, the author of Adversity is Your Greatest Ally. "They are neither good nor bad, until you choose to label them as such." His book is based on his life experiences of overcoming being born in the inner city projects of Corpus Christi, Texas to a single mother with six kids who were the poster children for poverty back in the Sixties. It is also based on his ability to overcome being a child-abuse victim and a high school dropout who refused to succumb to a life of mediocrity, who was able to climb the corporate ladder, and become a mid-level manager for a multi-million dollar company at the tender age of 22. But it is also based on his ability to overcome divorce, bankruptcy, foreclosure, and a deep state of depression in which he even contemplated taking his own life. Now 56, the middle-aged Taylor feels more like a teenager. He lives with a certain vulnerability and authenticity that inspires those he comes in contact with. "Rest assured that you have everything you need right now to overcome any adversity placed in front of you," asserts Coach Taylor, now a highly successful businessman. "The two questions you must now ask yourself are, 'What do I want?' and 'What am I willing to do to get it?' When you can sufficiently answer these two questions you are ready to begin moving towards your destiny. The problem is, very few people can answer these two simple questions." His mantra is very empowering: Every human being has the capacity to overcome adversity in their lives. Every adversity in our lives has a lesson and a gift that can guide us to a life of joy. Every human being is endowed with unique gifts and talents that are to be shared with the world to make it a better place. "Every motivational speaker or spiritual teacher has the same message," concludes Coach Taylor. "There is a part of us that is divine and connected to a power greater than ourselves. What makes my story unique are the adversities I've overcome to rebuild my life and how I share that story with others." I can help you build the correct mindset for massive success in your life, both personal and professional. Loving Adversity – the secret to success With Ravin Papiah
E36 – Loving Adversity – the secret to success Whether you find obstacles in your career, studies, or personal life, adversity has the potential to be a powerful catalyst: it can make you strong or render you helpless. Ultimately, your approach to facing adversity, and your response to unexpected outcomes, is a deciding factor in whether adversity will propel you forward or stop you in your tracks. Natalie Rabson, counsellor at Boston City Campus, says: “No one escapes difficulties. Setbacks may have the power to temporarily derail your journey, the aim at Boston is to get people to see them rather as gifts in the form of a learning experience. This gives our learners the opportunity to create empowering beliefs and recommit with greater determination in order to achieve their goals,” Natalie shares 5 key strategies to leverage the power of adversity for your greatest success. 1. Loving the negative association “Everything worthwhile in life is won through surmounting the associated negative experience,” says author Mark Manson. While it is easy to fall in love with our end goal, we need to travel the journey to reach it. And the journey may have bumps, hardships, even failure. It is unrealistic to think that there’s a direct path to getting to that destination of success. “From the outset, we have to know that there will be hard moments, difficult exams, and problems. Focussing on one step at a time, for example, one module at a time, enables you to manage each challenge instead of feeling overwhelmed by the big picture,” says Natalie. 2. The Obstacle is the Way While obstacles may appear threatening, they can also be the very thing that catalyse our growth. The pandemic has been a huge obstacle, but some have turned it into a lucrative opportunity. Others have changed the direction of their business 180 degrees. Hotels in Cape Town were offering drop off laundry services, catering, and work stations for daily rental. Choosing to see each outcome or event as an opportunity to learn and develop further, makes you a stronger person. 3. Power of Inversion Inversion is a practice of thinking the opposite of what you want. It may go against common sense but highlighting mistakes and issues you want to avoid bring inciteful wisdom into what not to do along the way. Seeing this another way, imagine the worst that could happen, then go for it. You’ve already faced the obstacle in your mind, and if failure happens, it won’t come as a shock and it won’t feel so bad. 4. Learn to love the “Nos” “You can achieve virtually anything you want–if you’re willing to hear ‘no’ often enough,” says Andrea Waltz, co-author of Go for No! While it is human nature to want to avoid the rejection associated with “No”, the fact is that hearing a ‘no’, brings you closer to getting your yes – be it for the job, the relationship, or the life you want to have. No’s should hopefully motivate you to work harder and achieve more. 5. Take action Former Canadian professional ice hockey player, Wayne Gretsky said, “You always miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.” Forget about telling yourself all the reasons why adversity is holding you back from going for that job, that relationship, or that degree; if you don’t try push past the setback you will never know what’s possible. And even if Plan A doesn’t work out, you will probably learn how to do it better and apply it to Plan B, C, D ….continuing to take action down the line until you achieve what you want. “Encountering adversity may be inevitable, so you need to choose how it will dictate your actions”, says Natalie. “Expect adversity, use it to alter your course or behaviour, and continue towards your goals”.

Understanding the POWER (power = energy) Failure Triggers With Ravin Papiah
Most of us don't set out looking to fail at anything. And we especially don’t want to be labeled as a failure. But maybe that is a mistake. Failure can be useful. We can learn from it, gain new insights, and do better next time. The right kind of failures give us new information and teach us something that gets us closer to our goals. Some live by the motto: If you aren't failing you aren't taking big enough risks. Said another way, if everything you try turns out exactly as planned and feels very comfortable, you probably aren't stretching yourself. And if you aren't stretching, you aren't growing. A fairly common understanding of failure is setting a goal, but not achieving it. We tend to believe that knowing whether or not you achieved a goal is fairly simple and straightforward. It’s often based on data. But in truth, failure is often in the eye of the beholder. Imagine yourself in each of these three scenarios and whether you'd consider yourself to have failed: An experienced marathon runner sets a goal to run her next marathon in under three-and-a-half hours. This goal is a full 15 minutes shorter than her prior best time. She completes the marathon in 3 hours and 36 minutes. Besting her prior record by nine minutes. A director seeks a promotion to EVP and competes against other internal and external candidates. He receives positive feedback. But He gets told that the leadership team felt that hiring an external person would demonstrate their commitment to innovation. A top young professional at an organization gets asked to prepare a presentation for a high-profile meeting. He submits what he considers to be an excellent presentation to his boss. The boss praises the work but substantially changes the slides before the big meeting. Notice that the differentiator in all three of these failure analysis examples is an ideal we've set in our minds. Measuring goal achievement can be a subjective and political activity. And in each of these examples above, you can sense that the individuals tried hard and performed well in their efforts. Perhaps that common definition of being in failure mode as "not achieving a goal" isn't so accurate and straightforward, after all. I can help you to put your desire to work. Using the POWER of Failure With Ravin Papiah
William Arudda, in his article ‘Why Failure is essential to Success’, says that failure is not a step backward; it’s an excellent stepping stone to success. We never learn to move out of our comfort zone if we don’t overcome our fear of failure. The most progressive companies deliberately seek employees with track records reflecting both failure and success. That’s because someone who survives failure has gained irreplaceable knowledge and the unstoppable perseverance born from overcoming hardship. To learn more about the benefits of failing, William reached out to executive coach and speaker Dr Sam Collins. A leading global voice on women as leaders and entrepreneurs, she was named one of the Top 200 Women to Impact Business & Industry by Her Majesty, the Queen of England. Sam just wrote a book about failure – her failures – and how they have had a profoundly positive impact on her life. How to Channel the Energy Produced from Failure With Ravin Papiah
Continuing the conversation, how do you think we can channel the energy produced from failure? Let me give you some insights…. And that’s the rest of the conversation between William and Sam: Arruda: And what did you learn? Collins: My lesson was to embrace failure and see it as a stepping stone on the way to success. Failing is an inevitable part of creating your destiny, and it gave me the platform to start my own business and follow my biggest dreams. I had nothing to lose. Now, I welcome it. After learning to deal with disappointment, I knew persistence and dedication to my goals would eventually be rewarded. Arruda: What can we learn from our failures? Collins: If nothing else, I hope you realize failure is temporary, and failure is good even if, undeniably, it feels really bad when it happens. When something goes wrong, we need to learn to say, "Something good is happening here. Look for the greater message of the experience and expect it to, eventually, turn out for the good. Recognizing this gets easier with practice. Arruda: In your book, you recommend “routine failing.” Can you share more about that? Collins: I heartily recommend routine failing. It means you are actually active, doing something, moving forward. Too often we buy into what society says, or what the past has shown us, will work or not work. When we do that, we limit ourselves, and we impede our ability to make big things happen. Listen to the live show for me to continue sharing with you the rest of the conversation between William and Sam… I can help you build the correct mindset for massive success in your life, both personal and professional. Failure …. Fail + Lure … The “LURE” of Failure” (self sabotage) With Ravin Papiah
While it seems surprising, some people undermine their own good intentions and long-term goals. Self-sabotage occurs when people hinder their own success. When people take these destructive steps, their harmful behavior can negatively impact nearly every part of their lives including their relationships and career. So, Why Do People Self-Sabotage? People thwart their progress for a variety of reasons. They may consciously or unconsciously commit acts of self-sabotage. The causes range from childhood issues to prior relationship effects. Other reasons for this type of destructive behavior vary from low self-esteem and coping problems to problems with cognitive dissonance. Conscious and Unconscious Self-Sabotage People who self-sabotage might be aware of their actions. For example, someone who's overweight and on a diet might consciously sabotage their good efforts by eating a whole carton of ice cream. Or they might unconsciously act. A person misses a work deadline. On the surface, it seems like he was running late. But the truth is he’s afraid of failure. He self-sabotages by missing the due date, thus he thwarts his goal to move up in the company. Mental health practitioners have identified common ways people self-sabotage. Three easy-to-identify ways include procrastination, perfectionism, and self-medication. Listen to the live show to learn more about self-sabotaging and how you can stop that…. I can help you build the correct mindset for massive success in your life, both personal and professional. S9 E24 – Belief + Desire + Faith + Potential + ACTION With Ravin Papiah
As it is said, in order to get success You need to take action because of Knowledge + Action = Result. If you apply continuous actions to your knowledge you will get a result faster and this will make your life beautiful and satisfied. Even the smallest action in your life can bring a huge difference, To improve every aspect of your life action is must, To improve your action quality you need to improve your belief system and when belief system changes, believing changes and when to believe changes you get a positive outcome. Action gives Satisfaction Suppose you go to a restaurant and you get confused whether to have same old thing which you always have or should try something new, and you also get confused like if I try that something new then if it tastes awful then my money will be wasted, but your confusion will not go until and unless you don’t try it, I know this isn’t the best example but hope you got my point, once you try that something new, only then, you will know the answer, like whether its good or bad, and this knowledge will give you satisfaction and from next time you will make more wise decisions and choices. 2. Actions make your information realIf you read any book or any motivational article tips and get lot of information from it, so do you think that information will change your life? No it won’t until you don’t use that information and knowledge in real life by taking action, your action along with information and knowledge can change your life, Reading books can give you way but you need to take action in order to walk on that way, hence Actions make your information real, meaning your information and knowledge works in wonders only when you take action towards it. 3. Action clears your confusion You will never know what technique and tips do work and don’t work for you if you never try in real, in order to change your life you need to take numerous actions, these massive actions will help you to understand life and techniques more properly and nicely, these numerous actions will clear your confusion, will make you understand what tips and techniques work or doesn’t work for you, and while understanding each thing clearly you will get time to focus on things which really work for you and through this you will also get your clear vision and and identify your passion. 4. Continuous Action = HabitJust by doing something for one day or for few days will not bring any serious change in your life. You must know that success and changes are a continuous process, and just one day action will not bring any major difference in your life, hence if you want to replace your bad habits with good ones, you need to take action regularly, daily, only then your mind will make place for that particular change, for example, if you want to stay fit then one day action of doing meditation or exercise will not help you to stay fit, you need to take action regularly, you need to exercise daily, only then, major differences will be able to become evident. 5. Actions give accomplishment and successReading books will help you learn new things, will give you vision and can make you a knowledgeable person, but in order to use that knowledge and information so that you can accomplish what you always desired, you need to take action, every accomplishment comes with an Action. Your actions towards the right direction will give you massive success. Success without Action is a Myth. Every accomplishment needs action, and every action gives success! And in Network Marketing more actions = more revenue, more growth, more success and more rank advancement!

S9 E23 Embracing Fear and Doing it Afraid - Eat the frog With Ravin Papiah
No one wants to fail! That’s why thefear of failure often causes us to freeze. The truth is, on the path to success, you’re going to stumble, run into walls, and even experience failure, but those are the most crucial parts of the learning process. Now, I don’t like to use the word fail, because it implies that whatever we’re trying to do is a total loss; that it’s over, but that’s not true. Facing failure is the best form of hands-on learning we can get. It is often in failure that the greatest opportunities for success are found. When things are going well, it’s tough to audit what we’re doing right. We chalk it up to luck, or we assume that we’re doing everything right. But when we fail, we’re offered the opportunity to examine what didn’t work. To use a classic example, if you touch a hot stove and burn your hand, you know not to touch a hot stove again. The same is true in life and of our mishaps. If we take a step back and learn from the failure, then we can come up with a better, stronger plan for moving forward. The mistake that so many people make is quitting when they hit a roadblock, but this is a missed opportunity to learn a valuable lesson. If you’re going to be a person of action and achieve great success, you have to get comfortable in learning from failure. How do we overcome failures, obstacles and rejections? Obstacles are Only Failures if They Cause You to Quit If you’re currently facing a massive obstacle in your life, overcoming it may seem a little easier said than done. For many people, hitting a wall feels a lot like failure, so they immediately quit or turn in another direction. But, if we are going to be high achievers, the first thing we have to understand is that obstacles are only failures when we accept them as failures. When faced with an obstacle, don’t view it as a failure. Look for another way around the problem. 2. Plan for the Worst. Hope for the Best. Setbacks are inevitable; there’s no way around it. No matter how skilled or talented you are, something will go wrong in your life at some point, especially if you’re trying something new or challenging. Successful people didn’t become successful by avoiding obstacles; they become successful by learning to expect setbacks so that they can face them head-on. Everything is easier to deal with if you’re expecting it and that’s why I always say “Plan for the worst but hope for the best.” This thought process isn’t meant to be pessimistic; it’s intended to help you mentally prepare for the possibility that something may go wrong so that you may better see it coming. When you prepare for the worst, you remove the power that a bad situation has over you. If you’re unprepared for a setback, then it’s much more likely to derail and discourage you which may cause you to quit. But being prepared allows you to more easily see that there’s almost always another way to achieve your goal. 3. Limit Your Disappointment Not hitting your goal quickly enough, or achieving it at all, can be extremely disappointing, and the longer you’ve spent striving for a goal, the greater the disappointment is if we miss the mark. Worst of all, disappointment is a toxic feeling. The longer you dwell on disappointment, the more it will disrupt your ability to focus on your other goals. It’s important to acknowledge your feelings because it’s never good to bottle things up, but most experts say that we should limit the amount of time we allow ourselves to feel disappointed. We have to accept the outcome but then begin to think about our next steps. Are you going to try again? If so, what next step do you need to take? Is that goal no longer possible for you? What are you going to pursue now?

S9 E 22 The Yo-Yo Factor With Ravin Papiah
Most people are familiar with yo-yo change on personal level. If you have ever have tried to change a habit or adopt a new routine. For example exercising. You implement the new routine, go to the gym for a few weeks maybe even a couple of months. You feel great. You celebrate your success, but then something shifts. Perhaps you miss a couple of days due to illness, work or family, and before you know it your newly adopted exercise routine is all but a distance memory. You are back to your old pattern and the thought of starting again feels overwhelming. The same thing happens when it comes to organizational change, whether you are implementing a new technology, work process or any other change. If you are using a project-based approach, you form the project team, develop your plan, implement the change, people are trained, and the project closed. Another change successfully implemented. But is it? A few weeks or months later you notice people have created a work around for the new technology, or the IT department is spending time “tweaking” the new system to accommodate old processes, the old steps have been re-introduced to the streamlined process, or all those silos you worked so hard to break down have begun to re-appear. Employees feel like nothing has really changed. Yo-yo change is any change that is implemented only to find a few weeks, or months after implementation, people have reverted back to their old ways of operating. Regardless of why it happens yo-yo change is destructive to your enterprise and can sabotage future change initiatives. Yo-yo change can be highly disruptive to your life or your business . Too much yo-yo change and you create a history of failed changes that limit your organization’s ability to respond and adapt to future changes. Preventing yo-yo change matters to your bottom line, employee engagement, and your productivity before, during and after any change. Yo-yo change erodes employees’ trust in the organization’s ability to follow through and support change. Trust is a necessary ingredient for building readiness to change. If people don’t trust that the organization has the capability and resources to maintain the changes it implements, you can’t build readiness. Without readiness, people look to maintain the current state. When employees are ready for change they will move toward it and resistance is prevented. The erosion of trust associated with yo-yo change can set off a chain reaction—change capacity is reduced which leads to decreased employee engagement, which increases employee cynicism—making future changes more difficult. And in Network marketing, the yo-yo effect can be as destructive as possible. When you are discouraged and quit temporarily, you have to re-start your business again, and your team members have also neglected their business. IT is harder to gain the same results you were getting before, because you have to start it all again, but you are not the same person with the same desire anymore, so you need more energy and passion and efforts which you can find to put in, so you quit again…. I can help you to have massive success in your life, both personal and professional. S9 E21 Success is like Baking Bread in the Oven With Ravin Papiah
HOW DO YOU ACHIEVE SUCCESS IN BAKING? TIPS FOR SUCCESSFUL BAKING: READ THE RECIPE THOROUGHLY. ... FOLLOW THE RECIPE CLOSELY. ... GATHER NECESSARY EQUIPMENT AND INGREDIENTS. ... USE CORRECT MEASURING TOOLS. ... CHECK OVEN. ... PROPERLY PLACE PAN(S) IN THE OVEN. ... DO NOT OPEN THE OVEN DOOR DURING BAKING. ... COOL PROPERLY. YOU ARE OR WANT TO BE AN ENTREPRENEUR AND START YOUR OWN BUSINESS. YOU CAN STUDY HOW THE GREAT ENTREPRENEURS OF THE WORLD STARTED THEIR BUSINESSES, YOU CAN READ EVERY BOOK EVER WRITTEN ON THE TOPIC, AND YOU CAN EVEN GO TO SCHOOL AND GET YOUR MBA, BUT IF YOU NEVER TAKE THAT KNOWLEDGE AND USE IT TO START YOUR OWN BUSINESS, THEN YOU WOULD NEVER BE A SUCCESSFUL ENTREPRENEUR. YOU MIGHT SAY, “THE MORE YOU KNOW BEFORE YOU START, THE BETTER,” AND IN SOME CASES, I MIGHT AGREE WITH YOU. OBVIOUSLY, YOU WOULD WANT FLYING LESSONS PRIOR TO JUMPING INTO THE COCKPIT OF A PLANE, BUT IF YOUR QUEST TO “KNOW MORE” IS CONSTANTLY PREVENTING YOU FROM TAKING THE FIRST STEP TOWARDS YOUR GOALS, THEN YOU’RE BETTER OFF LEARNING ALONG THE WAY. MOST OF THE TIME, NO AMOUNT OF PLANNING OR LEARNING COULD PREPARE YOU FOR EVERY SITUATION YOU MIGHT ENCOUNTER ALONG YOUR PATH TO SUCCESS. AND EVEN IF YOU COULD LEARN ALL OF THE THEORETICAL ANSWERS, THE ONLY WAY TO KNOW THE RIGHT ANSWER IS TO EXPLORE IT IN THE MOMENT. YOU SEE, FOR EVERY ACTION YOU TAKE, FOR BETTER OR WORSE, YOU EXPERIENCE AN OUTCOME. THEN, BASED ON THAT OUTCOME, YOU DECIDE TO TAKE A NEW ACTION. IT STARTS A CHAIN REACTION OF HANDS-ON LEARNING THAT YOU CANNOT GET ANY OTHER WAY. AS YOU TAKE ACTION AND MAKE DECISIONS, YOU WILL FIND NEW OPPORTUNITIES. OUR PRESENT LIVES ARE BUILT ON BILLIONS OF CHOICES, SITUATIONS, DECISIONS, AND ACTIONS. WHAT IF WE WERE TO ALTER EVEN THE SMALLEST EVENT IN OUR LIVES TEN YEARS AGO? HOW DIFFERENT WOULD OUR LIFE BE TODAY? ONE CHANGE COULD ALTER MILLIONS OF OTHER VARIABLES, DECISIONS, AND OUTCOMES. THERE’S NO WAY TO KNOW HOW EACH TINY SITUATION WILL IMPACT THE FUTURE. THE SAME IS TRUE FOR OUR FUTURE SUCCESS. EVERY LITTLE DECISION WE MAKE AND ACTION WE TAKE CAN ALTER OUR NEXT SET OF OPPORTUNITIES, BUT WE WON’T KNOW WHAT THOSE OPPORTUNITIES ARE UNTIL WE TAKE THE FIRST ACTION AND BEGIN THE CHAIN REACTION. I KNOW, I KNOW – IT’S SCARY! I’M NOT SAYING IT WILL BE EASY. FOR A LONG TIME, I AVOIDED TAKING ANY ACTION TOWARDS MY GOALS, AND I DIDN’T KNOW WHY FOR THE LONGEST TIME, BUT ONE DAY IT SUDDENLY OCCURRED TO ME: IT WAS EASIER TO IMAGINE MY GOALS THAN TO STRIVE FOR THEM. I WAS ALWAYS “WORKING UP TO IT.” OUR IMAGINATIONS ARE CAPABLE OF INCREDIBLE THINGS, BUT SOMETIMES IT CAN WORK AGAINST US. FEAR OF FAILURE, LEARNED HELPLESSNESS, AND SELF-LIMITING BELIEFS ARE PRODUCTS OF OUR IMAGINATION, AND THEY ULTIMATELY PREVENT US FROM TAKING ACTION THAT, DEEP DOWN, WE KNOW WE NEED TO TAKE. I CAN HELP YOU TO PUT YOUR DESIRE TO WORK.
