Cat Marshall’s posts made me stop and think several times. Cat Marshall, the Intuitive Uplevel Queen who is helping spiritual female entrepreneurs own their worth and show up unapologetic, shared some of her darker moments and experiences as she was going through a hard time. Today I'm talking about the impact of menopause on me personally and how it then affects business and life. I'd listened to Davina McCall on Steven Bartlett's podcast and I was impressed by the bravery and the courage that she gave in sharing what menopause had done for her as an upbeat public facing woman. So I was inspired to share some experiences from my world and the steps I've taken to improve circumstances for myself.  What You’ll Learn: How to recognise if you are entering menopause and find the right support to go through that period How to empower your close friends and family to communicate with you if they see or experience anything from you that's a bit out of the norm The benefits of being open about what is happening to you when you are menopausing 75% of women who go through menopause are badly affected by it. I want to kick the year off by reminding you about one of the best ways you can get through your year: by connecting with your best friend - your inner guidance system. Many of you mentioned it was intriguing for you to hear about me coming out of the spiritual closet. I often feel quite uneasy about the language around spirituality, because I grew up in a household where any concept of faith or religion was frowned upon. But the concept of higher power, higher guidance and overall intelligence do make sense for me. Today, on my 45th birthday, I want to highlight how much can change in a year when you need to strip things back.
