Entrepreneur Master Class 01-07-2015 Touching People in Appropriate Ways - Peter Verlezza
It has been said that people remember you most when you touch their emotions. How do you touch people appropriately though while meeting your business goals? What is inappropriate? On our show we will be discussing how any business can use appropriate touching and how you may be missing out on vertical industry marketing. For over 28 years, Peter Verlezza has been the architect of technology solutions that make sense for medical practices, businesses and non-profits. His unique way of approaching challenges comes from a belief that it all starts with people. In the early years, Peter worked at his family’s deli and catering businesses where the foundation of exemplary customer service was instilled by his family. The value of serving has extended to his professional relationships with clients as well. Peter internally asks the question, “Is this in the best interest of the client?” while remembering the old saying, “You can’t change what you have been handed only how you deal with it.” He approaches both of these with a sense of humor, charisma and genuine care for others – it’s become a way of life. He is the author of 3 books, "Hassle Free IT MD," and the 2 Amazon best selling books, "The Tech Multiplier," and "The Business Owners Essential Guide To IT and All Things Digital." Peter recently completed an audio series titled “Touching People In Appropriate Ways” a series that speaks to the importance of connecting with an audience.

Entrepreneur Master Class 12-17-2014 - Igniting Brilliance - Lisa Marie Jenkins
It can be easy to talk about purpose, passion, callings and strategy once you find it. Yet it seems to me that so many are still seeking it for themselves. If it is so easy to talk about how to uncover it, then why is it still coming up in conversations for some people over and over again? How can you find your purpose without driving yourself crazy? Is it possible? What does it mean to follow your heart versus your head and how can you blend the two for even bigger success? Lisa Marie Jenkins is an executive coach, author and founder of Lisa Marie Jenkins LLC – a consulting company specializing in feminine leadership. Previously, Lisa Marie spent over 20 years at Fortune 500 hi-tech companies in senior sales and marketing roles. During her IT career, she realized that passion, true connection, and purpose were often missing or hard to find in corporate life and she is now passionate about re-humanizing the workplace in order to foster greater creativity, success, and happiness. Entrepreneur Master Class 09-17-2014 - Relax, Focus, Succeed - Karl Palachuk
"What do you mean you want me to relax? I'm an entrepreneur. I have a lot to do. Time waits for no woman." Have you ever heard yourself saying those words? I don't mean word for word but some thoughts like them? I know I have and still do and they are burning me out. Consistently taking a break where you turn off the brain and just allow it to wander, where you allow yourself to explore the unknown possibilities is good for the soul, the body and everyone around you. Science has proven that vacations, meditation, taking a walk or other forms of letting go of being "on" are critical to success. How do you do that though? I used to be good at it but lately I have realized I am losing my edge for my own work ideas and play. I'm still crazy good for my clients which leads me to wonder, "how is it possible to help others while feeling burned out?" Enter a friend of mine, Karl Palachuk. Author of Relax, Focus, Succeed and a fellow entrepreneur. I read his book many years ago when I was thinking about selling my first company and I had lost a bit of focus. We know each other from the tech world and he is a respected business consultant and work-life balance expert. We are going to discuss how taking time to relax can actually improve focus. How you can move past overwhelm and three things to do each day to reduce stress and increase productivity. Karl W. Palachuk, is the Senior Systems Engineer at Small Biz Thoughts. He is the author of fifteen books and has owned a number of small businesses in Sacramento, CA. His books are primarily geared toward technical consultants, but his favorite is Relax Focus Succeed – a guide to balancing your personal and professional lives. Entrepreneur Master Class 09-10-2014 - Branding and Your Website - 21 Thirteen Designs
The web is an ever-present part of our lives in 2014. I go to it daily to research, explore, read and vet people I am thinking about interviewing for the show, potential clients and even vendor partners. Sometimes I have to put aside what I see on their web pages because I know what is reflected with their web presence is out-of-date or just plain doesn't reflect who they authentically are. Both good and bad. I regularly get asked. "how do you design your web presence? How much should I pay? How do I talk to my web company?" and even, "How do I translate my brand into a web presence?" Since I am not perfect at any of those things myself and I am in the midst of re-branding since the divorce, I thought I would bring in someone who lives and breathes this stuff everyday. Today's guest is Perry Yeldham of 21Thirteen Designs, a company that specializes in custom design and development of web sites across a wide range of platforms, coupled with the ability to consult and advise their clients on every related aspect of presenting you and your business on the internet. While studying Graphic & Interactive Design at Temple University in his hometown of Philadelphia, Perry began his career in Graphic Design as head of Design and Layout at the University newspaper, then segued that job into a position as designer for a Boutique Graphic Design firm in the city. He then landed a job as designer and head of marketing and advertising for a popular radio station in the Sacremento, California area. After moving to Boston, MA., Perry switched careers, attending Berklee College of Music and embarking on an accomplished career as a professional bass player. He toured the world as a performer, hired by well-known artists in the States and Europe, worked as a studio musician while living in Paris, France, moved back to Boston and signed with his group as a recording artist with Atlantic Records. Perry then went on to co-found a successful Music Recording and Production company in Boston while still performing and teaching in the New England area. As the company continued to grow, Perry taught music privately and delivered numerous classes and seminars on subjects including stage performance, music recording and copyright conventions. While teaching, Perry evolved his own method for learning his instrument and wrote a book on bass-playing. It was at this point that he realized he needed a website to promote his book and built his first site, bringing his tale

Entrepreneur Master Class 09-03-2014 - Entrepreneur Wellness - Marissa O'Neil
Self Care is something I thought I was pretty good at. Then I awoke one day and realized I hadn't felt good in a long time. Body aches, pains, fatigue, loss of focus and more. I was physically struggling. That physical struggle began entering into my emotional and work production. I wanted to chalk it all up to passing the 50 year mark yet I knew that wasn't true. Then the quest began to figure out my health yet again. Along the way I have met amazing healers of all kinds. Today's guest I actually met when she was getting ready to launch a book she wrote with her dad called Coastal Inspirations. As we got to know each other I knew I had to have her on the show to share her wisdom learned in the trenches of entrepreneurship and have her share with us some tips on preventing and healing pain. This was recorded live on September 3, 2014 at 5pm Eastern on the All Business Radio Network as I interviewed Marissa O'Neil and we discussed topics including injuries most entrepreneurs are prone to and how to avoid them.
