I believe we all love a good story. In fact, we watch movies and TV shows because we love the storytelling that happens within them and the journey they take us on. Every day I wake up and feel my body clock either feeling rested and firing on all cylinders or sometimes I may feel a bit sluggish.  I’ve had friends and family who had to travel for business, pre-pandemic and the jet lag and other side effects were sometimes detrimental to their health.  I am over 5’10” tall so airplane travel has never appealed to me, so as my career grew I made sure that extensive travel was not part of the demands expected from me. Perhaps post-pandemic this is not as big an issue as it once was.   So, is it possible to resent the jet lag or the feelings of jet lag? As I reflect on my life, career, and business, my Italian upbringing definitely influenced how I have (and I guess still do) approach my professional journey. For me, the concept of hard work was at the core.  In the past decade, I have realized that hard work alone doesn’t guarantee a positive outcome.
