We can get affected by bitterness and unforgiveness so much that it will have an effect on our health, our relationships, and our life as a whole. Hope is more than just wishing something would happen; biblical hope is more than that. Biblical hope is the expectation and anticipation of good things in your life. This is a testimony of me coming through a period of depression that hit our lives. I was recently committed to a mental hospital for extreme depression. This is Part 2 of our series on "Six Great Hindrances to Faith" a.k.a "Why doesn't my faith work?". We covered how our lack of understanding of our place in Christ and His place in us. We are seated in heavenly places in Christ and we are one with Him and the Father. Tune in to discover what we are in Him.

  We taught a lesson previously on Proverbs 4:23-27, concerning guarding your heart. We shared 3 steps on how to guard your heart: 1. Watch what comes out of your mouth. You have to change what you say in order to see things change in your life. 2. Watch how you see things. You have to (a) be focused on your goals in life, (b) have a vision for your life in every area, and (c)have a right perception of how you see things. 3. Watch where and how you walk this life out. We did an introductory lesson on Having Godly relationships. When you have the right relationships (family, friends, business, etc.) you stand a better chance of succeeding in life. You must be mindful of the connections you have with people. We also discussed consideration and how it plays an important in any relationship, esp. in a marriage.
