20. Outing the Shadow of Motherhood
In this candid heart-to-heart solo episode, just me and you, the listener, I share a raw, tender, admission of the underbelly of motherhood; something often denied or shamed or not acknowledged at all, but valid just the same. Something that I've felt and perhaps you have too. And giving ourselves permission to feeling the struggle and challenge and loss of what was we face in motherhood alongside the undiminished joy and unfathomable love. And honoring that both are welcome and of the same continuum. Make yourself a cup of tea, be reminded you're a good mom, then call yours or your closest mom friend and remind her she is too.
