Leads that turned into my first affiliate commissions online. This method did much more than get me my first affiliate sales though. It got me my first $1,000 day! I cover in detail, exactly how I leverage Facebook groups. I start off by giving examples of what a good group looks like, and what a bad group looks like, once you join it. I also go over Facebook group edicacy. This groups belong to someone. An owner started it from scratch, and grew it with hard earned money, or their time. But most likely a combination of the two. So how do we leverage Facebook groups ethically, after we find them? What are some of the do’s and don’ts? What actions will get you banned, and what actions will the group members respond in a positive way towards? I cover all this and more, by explaining what I was offering to these group members, and how I was doing it. I started off trying this the wrong way, by going straight in for the ask, and not providing value first, with no expectations…I provided value, by answering questions… But then I followed that answer up with a link for some free training if they wanted to know more… This doesn’t work, because it’s not providing value with no expectations…In this episode I share exactly what I did to get around this...and how I ended up with happy leads, and satisfied group owners (because of the engagement I brought to the group) without dropping a link, or even mentioning my training I had to offer. Leveraging Facebook groups ethically is something that anyone with a little bit of knowledge, in a certain niche, can always do for free. 012 - Consistency Matters
Consistency matters, especially when it comes to content marketing... Consistency matters. Flat out. I look at consistency as one of the main parts of the whole, "content is king" phrase that we've all heard so much. And When it comes to content marketing, that is especially important. When most people think about the benefits of consistent content, they usually think of all the SEO benefits. (Search Engine Optimization) But SEO isn't all that is affected in a positive way, when you develop a consistent strategy for your content. There is something even better that is changed by this consistency... Consistency Matters. It matters to your audience, as well as the SEO. Everyone following you could either be anticipating your next piece of content, because its always on time, and they know exactly when they are going to get another piece of your content... Or they can end up forgetting about you because you are never consistent, and every new piece of content that is published surprises them. This second option is no good. People will start by missing episodes, or shows... And it will end with them not caring that they missed them, and eventually unsubscribing... But this doesn't have to be the case. If you are consistent with your content publishing, and you are delivering valuable content, you should see steady growth in you audience, overtime... 011 - Filling Your Content With Value
Filling your content with value is an absolute must. Especially if you intend to grow an audience, following, or list... And start marketing to them. Too many marketers these days are trying to bring new customers into their entrepreneurial ecosystem, by announcing what they have to sell. This is great, if your audience, or followers, have been receiving valuable info from you for some time. This is because it allows a sense of trust to set in, and an actual relationship to start to develop. It is SO important to do this long before presenting an offer, of any kind, to any of the people you want to sell it to. When you consistently deliver valuable content, without selling, you position yourself as an expert that is willing to give their best advice for free... As long as you are consistent, overtime. If you are not an expert yet, your content can be revolved around you documenting the process of you becoming one. Not only will this help with future sales, but it will become a valuable asset after you become a success. Your whole journey will be documented... Delivering valuable content right up front is key, when raising the lifetime value of all your customers. Most of us start off by focusing on what will get people in the doors, instead of on what will keep them there... (I know I did...) I once heard Gary Vaynerchuk (Serial Entrepreneur & Super Successful Business Man) say, "I'm not in the customer acquisition business. I'm in the customer retention business." This is so smart. Think about it. If your putting content out that is so valuable to your perfect customer that they keep consuming it, no matter what... Then you always have their attention, and when you are ready to give them some sort of offer they will be ready to receive it. 008 - Grow Your Business With Digital Marketing in 2019.
Do you know how your business should be leveraging digital marketing in 2019? Do you really know what is effective right now? I ask this because the majority of digital marketing has been the type of marketing that almost everyone has come to despise... Interruption Marketing. In 2019 this is a big no no. People value their time too much to sit through your pop-up, or your pre-roll ad, if it's not already relevant. Programatic banner ads aren't tricking anyone anymore. Everyone is now "trained" to look at the center of websites and to avoid sidebars and banners. Unless, the sidebars are full of links that will lead them to more content that they already like. No one has time for ads anymore. It used to be acceptable for our TV show to stop every 6 minutes and show us commercials. Now people don't even watch television to avoid this. Its the same online. If you want to get the attention of a certain demographic, you are better off producing the content that they like to consume, and giving them value there. This way they look forward to hearing from you. The old way would be to find out what content they were already consuming, then put ad in front of it, or a banner below it... There are plenty of agencies that will charge you a lot to still do this, but they don't have your best interest at heart... In this episode I go over HOW, and WHY, you should start producing your own content, like a media company instead of an advertising agency.
