Is The Tops Market Shooting A True Crime Case?
The Tops Market Shooting has elements of True Crime, but can it be classified in there as well? --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/drowning-verdict-podcast/message

Lunatic Fringe: Campsite Killer Adam Pinkusiewicz
Adam Pinkusiewicz gunned down a pair of happy campers in the La Sal Mountain range just outside of Moab. It wasn't the first time an angry drifter like Adam murdered a camping couple. Other killings came before. And each killer was the same in that they had disagreed with the lifestyle of their victims. The killers lived on the fringe; and when their targets crossed the line, they met with the executioner. Next on Drowning Verdict, I talk about what to look out for in the future. Because it's possible that something like this could happen again. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/drowning-verdict-podcast/message

Did Lori Vallow Lead Her Daughter To The Yellowstone Zone of Death?
Lori Vallow referred to herself a prophet, one who was leading lost souls to places of refuge. Much like the tribulation fiction of her husband, Lori saw herself as someone designated for higher matters. But did she lead her daughter to the Zone of Death, a plot of land in Yellowstone National Park where it's possible for a person to avoid conviction for any crime, including murder? Next on Drowning Verdict, I dig at the idea and also the reason why her daughter was last pictured alive in the only place subject to a loophole in the US Constitution. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/drowning-verdict-podcast/message

Delphi Murders Suspect To Be Named By Valentine's Day
This episode is sponsored by Strikingly. Make a website in minutes. Get started - It's free! Less than a week to go and it’s Valentine’s Day again. The best gift would be to ID the killer of Abby and Libby because it was about that time five years ago that a man on a bridge took their lives. Now cops say they got their guy. Next on Drowning Verdict, I bring up one of the sketches again and pick apart what they've been hinting at; "sleep well," they said. This time, I think they might got it right. #truecrime #abbyandlibby --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/drowning-verdict-podcast/message

Impostor Syndrome Turns To Murder In A Confined Space
This episode is sponsored by Strikingly. Make a website in minutes. Get started - It's free! Reality TV Star Ryan Jenkins killed his wife and stuffed her body in a suitcase. This is what happened when an impostor like him was confronted with some hard reality about himself. Where he killed her and what he did to her body tells me you can't get too close when someone so shallow is concerned about being discovered. Next on Drowning Verdict, I rehash the bloody scene at a posh hotel. And I reveal why it happened where it did, in confined spaces all the way up until the end. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/drowning-verdict-podcast/message

Suzanne Morphew Update: Could A Love Triangle Lead To Her Location?
This episode is sponsored by Strikingly. Make a website in minutes.  Get started - It's free! Suzanne Morphew didn't go for a bike ride on Mother's Day, 2020. It's likely she was in the house and arguing with her husband about an affair she was having when he killed her; then he staged the bike to make it look like she disappeared. Investigators said Barry killed her and I believe that to be true. But where is her body? Next on Drowning Verdict, I talk about a similar case and the lessons learned. If Barry killed her because she cheated on him, but he still wanted her for his own then two men were after her heart. One of which put her within the equal distance of two other points. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/drowning-verdict-podcast/message

Silver Bullet Theory: Moab Murders
This episode is sponsored by Strikingly. Make a website in minutes.  Get started - It's free! A couple murdered on the fringes of Moab, UT. Two people who were well-known to the small, cultured community. Callously shot while camping. Their bodies left half-naked, possibly posed. No witnesses but the birds and maybe a cell phone tower somewhere. Next on Drowning Verdict I talk about a case with no concrete evidence but a silver bullet and casings left at the scene. Unusual. Unless, of course, you link what happened in previous unusual cases of their time. Those killers disagreed with what campers were doing. So, did the killer here disagree with something, too? And... did a precious metal like silver leave a message for us to discover? --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/drowning-verdict-podcast/message

Is The Oxford School Shooting A True Crime Case?
This episode is sponsored by Strikingly. Make a website in minutes.  Get started - It's free! A certain celebrity went on national TV recently to say that although he held a prop gun in his hand, pointed it at the victim and pulled the trigger, he is not the one responsible for firing the gun that killed a woman on the set of a movie. Now that the dust has settled on the Oxford High School shooting, the parents of the school's shooter, Ethan Crumbley, were arrested and charged with involuntary manslaughter. This leads me to ask the questions:  Is the Oxford shooting a True Crime case, one that was somehow premeditated by the parents? And also... could the celebrity who cried crocodile tears over the prop gun killing, instead place the blame on Ethan Crumbley or even his parents? --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/drowning-verdict-podcast/message

Delphi Murders Update: Are Investigators Close To Naming A Suspect?
This episode is sponsored by Strikingly. Make a website in minutes.  Get started - It's free! I've said before that I think the killer of the two girls in Delphi, Indiana shall be named before the five year anniversary of their murders. But are investigators anywhere close to naming a suspect? So far, they've been eerily quiet about any movement in the case. Next on Drowning Verdict, I talk about some things that may have been overlooked and a reason or two for you to walk down that bridge with me, toward a suspect. For now, though, let me draw it out for you. I mean... make a sketch. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/drowning-verdict-podcast/message

Profiling The 'Creeper Dude' on County Road 4651 (Moab Murders)
This episode is sponsored by Strikingly. Make a website in minutes.  Get started - It's free! Here I discuss two other similar cases involving couples who were killed in an isolated area, and with a gun. Understanding the dynamics of similar cases that were later solved could help build a profile of the killer in the unsolved Moab Murders case. #moabmurders #truecrime --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/drowning-verdict-podcast/message

Did Black Widow Lori Vallow Murder Hubby #3?
This episode is sponsored by Strikingly. Make a website in minutes.  Get started - It's free! Lucky for Chad Daybell he's still above ground. Or maybe 5 husbands is enough for Lori Vallow, and it's good business to keep one around. Lori has been charged with conspiracy to commit murder two years after her brother shot and killed her fourth husband, Charles Vallow. But did she actually murder hubby #3? On this episode of Drowning Verdict, I talk about the possibility of Lori being solely responsible for the death of Joseph Ryan. He died in 2018 from natural causes because it's only natural for a black widow like Lori to take a husband and one of his offspring. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/drowning-verdict-podcast/message

Morgan Sessions Missing: Will Utah Teen Get National Attention?
Eagle Mountain teenager, Morgan Sessions, went missing on September 20th 2021. News outlets here and there are chirping about her story, but it hasn't exploded like we've seen with Gabby Petito. Morgan's case is starving for national attention, like so many other missing persons cases. She is, after all, a white woman; and so it goes without saying that Missing White Woman Syndrome would apply to her. Yet is seems as if her case is being pushed to the side with each passing day and the media doesn't mind. Next on Drowning Verdict, I discuss why it's not so much about who went missing but the last person to be with them that makes them want to care. Slain Runner Mom Hardee Schmidt
Hardee Schmidt was a wife and a mother; she was also an avid runner. One fateful day in 1999, Hardee ran across serial killer Sean Gillis. Actually, Gillis had been stalking her for weeks so it was no coincidence when he took his car and ran her into a ditch. This is her telling on Drowning Verdict. Moab Murders Suspect Has Likely Killed Before
No official suspect of the murders near Moab has been named. That said, it's my opinion he's killed before and could kill again. There likely wasn't any stalking or victim type in this case, but had more to do with proximity and opportunity than anything else. Next on Drowning Verdict, I talk about a long cold case that was recently solved where certain similarities match up for me, and could be helpful in moving forward with the double murder near Moab. Oddly enough, that killing occurred 17 years ago on the same date. One thing's for sure, though, the case of two girls gone forever needs better traction, kinda like the tires on a mountain bike rolling over slick boulders. Was Brian Laundrie The "Creepy Man" In The Van?
Brian Laundrie returned to Florida without his girlfriend Gabby Petito. Body cam footage shows cops in Utah intervening after they had a spat. I said before that not enough space between them had likely caused big issues. This is contrary to what Van Life is supposed to be all about. But don't take my word for it; just ask Gene and Jean, the fictitious couple from the 76 Van Life commercials. Last time we saw them, Jean locked the van and took off without him. Looks like Brian did that to Gabby in real life. Next on Drowning Verdict, I talk about the possibility of him being the "creepy man" spotted right before another couple was murdered near Moab.  Jean left Gene behind and that made him nervous: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fgROaHRagfI  Get Drowning Verdict and Glock Watchers on YouTube! --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/drowning-verdict-podcast/message

The House That CSX Built (Alex Murdaugh)
Alex Murdaugh hired a hit man who was also a former client of his to shoot him in the head so his eldest son could receive a 10M insurance payout in his death. I said before that a lawyer fixing his own tire on the side of the road is more unusual than getting shot in the head and surviving. Alex's former law firm had benefited the Murdaugh family for generations. Yet when his father died in June, the dynasty was crumbling. In this episode of Drowning Verdict, I talk about the money train the family was riding, and how a little known legal tactic had turned Hampton County, SC into a judicial hellhole, one that made him prosperous in an otherwise struggling community. #murdaugh Get Drowning Verdict and Glock Watchers on YouTube! --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/drowning-verdict-podcast/message

Gabby Petito Missing: Is There Foul Play In Her Disappearance?
22 year old Gabby Petito is missing and the last person to see her alive returned from their cross country trek without her. Gabby's boyfriend isn't talking about her disappearance, and he's since retained a lawyer. The last few missing persons cases I've covered have started the same way: girl goes missing and her significant other goes in another direction. Next on Drowning Verdict, I'll give you one word to consider now that Gabby Petito missing is a thing. It's trendy to document Van Life these days, but Cabin Fever has always been something to watch out for. Is Rehab A Refuge For Alex Murdaugh?
Alex Murdaugh resigned from his law firm recently, citing rehab as a reason for his decision. Long used as a tactic to escape scrutiny, rehab retreats have sheltered many high profile people, keeping them at an arms-length from the law. I've said before that I don't believe the father could kill the son, even though Alex is looking more like a person of interest due to his strange behavior. Next on Drowning Verdict, I talk about the recent incident on the side of the road and why a lawyer changing his own tire is more odd to me than being shot in the head and surviving. Do I want to go to rehab? Only if I don't want to speak to people who view me less like a person and more like roadkill. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/drowning-verdict-podcast/message
