Dr. Gamenstein #10 - Astral Bodies: My Love Is Like A Black Hole
(Sorry about the late release! We're getting back into the swing of things!) Welcome to Dr. Gamenstein, where three weird friends dare each other to play games, and then get together to construct our own game monstrosity! In the inky darkness of space, who says love can't blossom? Or, for that matter, muuuuurder~?! Sorry, we tried really hard not to do another game involving death, but, given both our track record, and ingredients, what else were we supposed to do? Form relationships with gigantic anthropomorphic planets and ride the space vibes through funky space, so you can figure out who killed Pluto! This week, we got back to basics and played an exceedingly bizarre, post-apocalyptic Russia adventure game, a throwback to an old era of Sierra, Paradigm! Also, a mysterious time traveling murder mystery on a ghost ship, Return of the Obra Dinn. And then we bounced from planet to planet in the free-form space exploration game Outer Wilds. Yes, OUTER WILDS. Not that other one. -Game Spoiler Warning!- Paradigm - 3:00 Return of the Obra Dinn - 20:30 Outer Wilds - 40:10 Our Game - 1:03:30 This episode was edited by Kevin Zuhn! Next month, we play Simmiland, Cadence of Hyrule (feat: Crypt of the Necrodancer), and Pato Box!
