I get so excited about this topic because these things totally changed my life. I went from burnt out and stressed to becoming more grateful, joyful, grounded and successful. What I am about to share with you is the catalyst for me. I hear a lot of messages lately saying you don’t need more strategy, it’s all in your mind. I want to poke a hole in that statement. There is a strategy for everything, it just depends on what you are working on in that moment. Today we are going to be talking about something that is on the mindset side. We will be covering how to create a success routine for yourself. The battle is won in the micro. You know how you are wired. Make sure that whatever you are doing serves you. Design your routines and the things you do to achieve success based around how you function and how you function best. It’s also important to follow through. Personal integrity is the absolute key to success.Do you find yourself consistently rescheduling meetings because you are tired or don’t feel like it? How do you think that looks to your clients? If you’re not doing something because you don’t feel like it isn’t a good enough reason. This concept of ‘I don’t feel like it’ is hindering you. As humans we are inherently lazy. Ep. 7 Creating Consistency in Your Life and Business
Welcome to the Don’t Put Your Business in The Streets Podcast. The things we get wrong and the reason we can’t seem to stick with a new habit or routine is due to a lack of intentionally creating consistency. When you want to start something new, whether it’s a habit, business venture or hobby, you always want to dip your big toe in the water first. Start small and begin building upon it. Don’t let the internet pressure you. It’s okay to be a beginner. Be honest with yourself. What can you reasonably do? Overwhelm comes from trying to do too much. I hope you take this episode and message to heart and choose to really look at yourself and take a deep dive at yourself, what works for you and your tendencies. What works for me might not work for you, which is why you should look at yourself, figure out what you can commit to, go out and do. Then hold yourself accountable. What You’ll Learn- Metaphors for creating consistency- Remaining consistent- Building upon consistency- Combating overwhelm- It takes 5 to 10 years to become an overnight s- Microwave mentality- Everything takes time- Maintaining consistency and success- Recipe for consistency Summary of Tips· Get honest with yourself · Evaluate how you are sabotaging yourself from being able to commit· Don’t punish yourself when you mess up· Take what works and leave the rest Links Thebusinessarchitectco on Instagram thebusinessarchitectco.com Make sure you sign up for my email list! Ep. 6 How to Live Your Best Life Every Single Day
Hi and welcome to the Don’t Put Your Business in The Streets Podcast! Today I will be sharing something I speak to business colleagues and clients with quite frequently. This is something that can apply to your daily life. We are all always trying to do entirely too much at one time. As people, we want all of the things all at once. I want to encourage you to take a look at the things you are doing and ask yourself if you’re doing them because you really want to or because you feel like you have to or you should.Somethings you will inevitably have to do but there may be some areas in which you can ‘trim the fat’. You can get rid of the fluff and focus on the things that will move you forward in your life. Why is that people only feel they’re living their best life is when they are on vacation yet they don’t mention living their best life in the day to day? You should be doing things every day that make you feel like you’re living your best life. What does your best life look for you? My best life may look different then your life. The goal is to live a life you don’t need a vacation from. No matter your current situation, you have the power to change it. What are you willing to swap out to be able to do the things you want to do? No one is going to hand you your best life. You have to go out there and grab it. What You’ll Learn- Showing up - Overcommitting and overextending - How to live your best life every day- Designing a life you don’t need a vacation from- Auditing your current situations- Making swaps, creating habits and developing routines- Stop waiting for vacation Summary of Tips· Take an audit of all of your commitments in life and in business· Ask yourself what your best life looks like every single day· Make swaps and changes to start living your best lifeLinks Thebusinessarchitectco on Instagram thebusinessarchitectco.com Make sure you sign up for my email list! Ep. 5 How to Feel Like a Business Owner When You Work For Yourself
Today I want to talk about a question I recently received. The question was “How do you actually feel like you’re running a business when you work for yourself?” When you first start working for yourself it is a struggle. When you decide you want to go out on your own, it become overwhelming to have total control over your business and time. It can feel like you don’t have a business really, you just have this hobby you are trying to do something with, especially when your main marketing form is social media. I have a couple tips that you can implement today that will help you have that structured feeling you need to succeed. We as humans as crave some sort of system and routine. Tip number one is set some sort of working hours for yourself. Make sure these working hours are around your peak times. These times are when you are most productive and get the most done. Show up in those working hours every day. Then work the rest of your life around those working hoursTip number two takes place after you set your working hours. Everything else falls around those times. Schedule doctors’ appointments, social time, personal time, etc. outside of your working hours.Tip three is to create some sort of system and structure in your business. This could be an onboarding system for clients, service delivery system, a launch calendar, a marketing/content calendar, etc. These are really important to have in place. These will make you more efficient and also make you feel like you are actually running a business. This also elevates the client experience which leads to referrals. The main things you need to do is bring intention into everything you do. Intention is what will get your really far. If you don’t feel like you have a business, how can you show up for it?What You’ll LearnFeeling like you’re playing rather than running a businessTips to achieve that feeling of struggleAccommodating your peak working hoursPutting systems and structures in placeBringing intention into everything you doLinks Thebusinessarchitectco on Instagram thebusinessarchitectco.com

Ep. 4 How to Maximize Your Time
I often get asked about time management tips. I wanted to share a few today to help you get your feet under you in your business. Time is a finite resource and we must manage like anything else. You can view time as a system. You create a system or process around how you make the most of the time you’ve been given. We’re really trying to maximize our time, not necessarily manage it. There’s a couple of awesome ways to do this. You don’t need more time to do new things. You need to replace the old things with the new things. You want to find your time sucks and your time leaks first. You want to create a log of where you are spending your time every day. Using Toggl, or a similar free resource, is one of the best and most productive way to do it. This is how you find where you are spending most of your time and where you aren’t being as productive as you could be. I would recommend doing this for about a week to see where the time in your week is going.I recommend picking your top 3 priorities for the day and focusing only on those priorities. Sometimes long lists of things to do can be overwhelming and cripple you from getting anything done. Take your top priorities and place those on your calendar. What You’ll LearnTime is a finite resourceBringing more intention into your dayLong to do lists can be discouragingA different perspective of time blockingLiving life by designHaving integrated work-life balanceTaking time to live and not feeling over extendedGiving yourself the space to live your lifeSummary of three TipsFind time sucks using a timer such as Toggl.Pick top 3 priorities for the day and focus on those.Bring intention into your time blocks by time blocking your top 3 priorities for the day so you can visualize your time. Ep. 3 Waiting for Inspiration is a Cop Out
Today we will be talking about a topic that may ruffle some feathers but hear me out. Being intuitive can sometimes be a cop out. You should use your intuition and inspiration but you should stop sitting and waiting to be inspired before you do anything. This is stopping you from creating and doing the things you want to do in your business. I am a spiritual person but I don’t use that as a crutch. A lot of times what I’m hearing from spiritual entrepreneurs is that they want to do something but they are going to wait until they are creatively inspired. This can cause inconsistency. You have to show up consistently to create consistency. That’s how you can grow your business at a really awesome rate.Inspiration strikes me at some of the most random times. Sometimes you just have to go out and take action, then that will bring on the inspiration. As inspiration strikes you, write it down or voice memo your thoughts and ideas. Instead of depending on your intuition to create things for you all the time, bring some consistency back in. Create a marketing calendar for yourself and use it as a guide. Quit saying you are waiting to be inspired. Inspiration comes when you move your feet. Stop making excuses. Instead get out of your own way. How can you expect something awesome to come if you are just sitting there? Your gut and intuition will tell you where to move your feet. What You’ll LearnShowing up consistently to create consistencyDeveloping a marketing calendar for yourselfCreating consistency for yourself and your audienceContent is KingIf you need help creating a marketing calendar, we can help you with that. Ep. 2 Stop Letting Shame Get in Your Way
Today we will be talking about an important topic that isn’t being discussed much. We’ll be covering the shame people are feeling around asking for help in their business. There is a thought in the online space that you should be able to do everything yourself. But this couldn’t be further from the truth. You don’t have to know how to do everything and you don’t have to do everything. Your business can only grow to the capacity that you have. Why not be really good at your one thing and bring in the people who are really good at their one thing?Ask yourself “Why do I feel afraid?” and “What is causing me to resist hiring a team member?” What is stopping you from hiring that person who will be able to take some things off your plate? Some might say they are a control freak and no one can do it quite like they can. If that was the case you wouldn’t be totally overwhelmed, stressed out and unable to give your best to each aspect of your business. Ask yourself what is the worse that can happen. How is this helping me? How is this holding me back?Your business will never be what you want it to be if you don’t get out of your own way. You have to get out of your own way and build a team because you have to clone yourself. Being a business owner and entrepreneur is the biggest exercise in personal development there is. It’s daily personal development on steroids. It will freak you out more seeing how it will hold you back than how it is helping you. What You’ll LearnWhy you don’t have to do everything in your businessLooking at your team as an investment not a costLetting go of being embarrassed Focusing on what your good at Building a teamDelegating responsibilities to othersLinks Thebusinessarchitectco on Instagram thebusinessarchitectco.com

Ep 1: Your Team is an Investment, Not a Cost
We all fall into the trap looking at team members as a cost to our business. And it is, but I want to challenge that perspective and have you look a little deeper. Your team is an investment in your business. They are what are getting you from point A to B faster than you would be able to do on your own and they are also freeing up your time for you to do more of what you love. In this episode, I’ll make some points that will help you shift your mindset around your team which will help you to create a more cohesive environment.Follow me on Instagram Website: thebusinessarchitectco.com
