We're winding down to completion with our sampling of all the Doctors, and this week we tackle the inaugural Doctor of Nu Who, Christopher Eccleston. We watch the Series 1 finale "Bad Wolf / The Parting of the Ways" and talk about how Nine compares to the rest of what we've seen. River Song's character timeline and the ramifications from her recent revelation are discussed this week on Doctor Whocast. Bobby, Brian and BJ run without their trusty companion Nancy this week, as a good woman has gone to war. It's not all straight-laced and investigative, however -- BJ tries very hard to sell himself to the Facebook community while Brian postulates a Rory Williams / River Song sitcom. This week, Bobby, Brian, Nancy, and BJ come to terms with their insurmountable loss of Doctor Who with the mid-series finale of "A Good Man Goes to War." It's going to be a long road until September, but until then the Whocast crew goes over the shocker of an episode and what it means for the remainder of the series. We also announce a contest winner, talk about some listener feedback, and BJ and Brian somehow manage to sing the latter half of the show. We've just found out that Bobby, Brian, BJ and Nancy have not been doing Doctor Whocast -- it's been their gangers all along! Never fear, however, as the true crew is back in business discussing the latest episode of Doctor Who, "The Almost People." The quartet give their insight into the second half of this Stephen Graham-penned two-parter while also discussing funny voices and what would happen if your coffee mug was actually bigger on the inside. Also, since BBC America has opted to not air "The Almost People" for U.S. audiences until next week, we have recorded a second, one-off episode which will be available tomorrow. So, if you need to be spoiler-free, save this show for next week and enjoy the one-shot!
