As a mother, do you ever feel like you’re doing it wrong? Trust me, we’ve all felt that way. But what if you were the only one your kids had? What if you were a single mom and a physician? How would you ever move past the mom guilt and the expectations?

Dr. Leslie Cadet has been there, done that, and now she’s coaching other single mothers how to do the same. After leaving an abusive relationship, she knew that nothing would ever be the same. She changed her physician specialty to occupational health and she made her dreams work.

She has learned the value of having strict schedules and really pouring into her children when she’s with them. Then she leaves her own stuff to the time around her mommy time. Listen as she shares how she structures her day and why it’s so important to have time for self-care.

Dr. Cadet is also sharing why she moved into coaching and how she’s been helping single mothers all over the country to find their footing again. She’s so passionate about helping women realize that we are all doing our best. How you mother your children will look completely different from how another woman mothers theirs. And there is nothing wrong with that.

We are sharing all the encouragement that mothers everywhere need to hear. Plus an extra special dose for those of you doing it all on your own. If you have ever felt like you’re drowning in the experience of motherhood, then you won’t want to miss this episode.

“You are in this lane where you have perceived notions of what motherhood is supposed to be when you have the power to make that definition for yourself.” Dr. Leslie Cadet
