Ep 76: Marcus Pibworth on navigating the difficult bits of life and what it really means to be human
Marcus Pibworth is a storyteller based in England but known to pop up around the globe, running storytelling workshops. He is an alumni of ‘The International School of Storytelling’. One of the key focuses of Marcus’ current work is on using storytelling to explore masculinity through his ‘Stories For Men’ series. I first came across Marcus in Positive News Magazine a few years back, feeling inspired by his nomadic lifestyle living in a van and travelling around the UK & Europe recording his Ministry of Change podcast. Which is conversations about mental health, navigating the difficult bits of life and what it really means to be human. In this podcast we discuss what it was like to live in a van for 3 years, mental health challenges men face, the transformational effects of storytelling, embracing fatherhood and much more in this insightful conversation. In this episode, I welcome spiritual teacher Louise Kay back on the show (for a fourth time). Ep 74: This Too Shall Pass
In today’s episode, I delve deep into why I believe there’s never been a more important time to connect with others, speak our truth, share solutions and be the change we see in the world. Looking around and what has unfolded these past few years and seeing things with your eyes wide open you realise, once you see what’s happening you can’t unsee it. In this podcast, I give my take on the narrative that’s been playing out, sharing my own recent experience with Covid, how critical early treatment is, the suppression of some of the world’s leading doctors, how clinical trials show natural immunity is far more robust than immunity from the vaccine. I also delve into how none of the measures in place appears to be supporting increased health. In fact, they are leading to the erosion of our freedoms and potentially taking us down a dystopian version of reality. Yet, none of this must come to pass. If more of us shine our light on the darkness for others to see we can choose a different path for humanity. One that is built on connection, freedom and love. For this to happen it’s going to take us all stepping forward and being part of the solution, as the old systems crumble and new ones come to light. Like Gandhi before us, it’s going to take a non-violent revolution of consciousness. These challenging times will pass, like all things in life, whether they be good times or bad times nothing lasts in this life. But what a ride life is! Ep 72: Barry Taylor on turning inspired ideas into reality
In this episode, I welcome Barry Taylor on the show who has for decades been working with ’Spiritually Inspired’ community projects and individuals helping them turn their inspired ideas into reality. With his roots firmly established in Glastonbury since the 1980s, having been a successful entrepreneur in his earlier years, he has endeavoured to use his skills to help Glastonbury become a beacon for spiritual development once more. In this fascinating conversation, we delve into how a poverty mindset hinders the progress of many creative ideas, and how to shift that perspective to allow your ideas to flourish and stand the test of time with the right structure in place. We also delve into what makes Glastonbury so special and how pilgrimage can help bring expanded meaning to our lives and lead to a personal transformation. I loved this conversation with Barry, I’m sure his words can offer hope to those on their own spiritual path. Ep 71: Always Darkest Before The Dawn
In today’s episode, I dive deep into the challenging times we are living through, and even though it can appear on the surface that everything is in chaos, it’s a time of great transformation. This podcast is about shedding light on the good that is happening around the world (gods know we need it right now). However, that doesn’t mean we should bury our heads in the ground when we are seeing injustices, lies, deceit and coercion happening right in front of our eyes. I see the old systems breaking down, and as they are, the old power structure will do everything in its power to maintain its grip. Which we are seeing with the authoritarian measure that has swept the planet in recent times. I share how I’ve seen the past 18 months unfold and how I believe a lot of the measures in place are in fact anti-health, which are disempowering and riddled with fear-mongering from our governments and media. It is often when we are pushed into a corner that we realise what is important to us. We are at a crossroads on the planet right now, and we all have to decide what path we are going down and the kind of world we wish to live on. I for one, am choosing a life of freedom, peace, connection, community and enlightenment. We all have a choice, we are powerful beings with so much to offer to the world, and there is a place for all of us in playing a part in the solutions. Ep: 70 Dave Linton (Madlug) on standing up for the underdog and giving dignity to children in care
Dave Linton is the founder of Madlug (Make A Difference Luggage), which are an award-winning bag brand helping to give dignity to children in care. Started back in 2015 after he was heartbroken to hear that most children in care transport their worldly belongings in a bin bag. He set out to do something about it, and with just a few quid in his pocket he started Madlug and came up with the idea of ‘Buy one Give one’ approach: so with every bag purchased, one will be given to a child in care. Ep 67: Charlotte Davies on bringing validation & comfort from those in spirit
In today's episode, I welcome Charlotte Davies on the show who is an acclaimed Spirit Medium. It’s a bit left-field this episode, although anyone who’s listened to my podcast for a while will be aware of my spiritual beliefs and that this life is far more magical than we were lead to believe. But that aside, it’s certainly different to other kinds of guests I’ve had on the show and I just ask that you keep an open mind as hear Charlotte’s story. She shares some of the mind-bending stories from readings she’s given to people allowing them to connect with loved ones who may no longer be in physical form but still exist in the non-physical realms. After having a reading with her early this year it left no doubt in my mind that she is tapped in to other realms and the information she brings through is genuine. Charlotte talks about how this all began in childhood, the challenges she faced in her early years dealing with these extrasensory abilities, and how she came to terms with it and has allowed it to be a force for good in her life. Ep 63: Impress People With Your Actions Not Your Things
In today episode, I discuss a topic that’s close to my heart – giving up our relentless pursuit of material possessions and instead focusing our attention on doing good and how this brings us the happiness, satisfaction and the recognition we are after (and save us a ton of money and time in the process). From my own experience of chasing after and amassing a certain level of material wealth in the past, I come to realise I was always left wanting more, always comparing myself to others and being left with a deep dissatisfaction with daily life. I’ve found there is an alternative way of living, by letting go of that way of doing and achieving and instead, charting our own heart-centred path, we bring greater freedom and contentment into our lives. With this space and time, we can then focus our energy on creating lasting positive changes in our lives and those around us. I touch on how minimalism supports this transition, as well as relieving ourselves from the constant debt cycle and how living a simple uncluttered life is a doorway to untold riches. This time around we focused our attention on the events that have been unfolding the past year and the opportunity it’s given us to reclaim our individual sovereignty. James intertwines his yogic wisdom into the subject offering a deeper perspective on the current events, allowing us to see the gifts that have come by taking this extended pause. And as the saying goes ‘the bigger the challenge, the bigger the opportunity is for growth’ we discuss how we are being invited to see this time as an opportunity to become better versions of ourselves. Ep 60: Ben Tallon on turning your creativity into a career

While juggling his day job being an artist he’s recently published two Indie books (YA MUM & Isolation Watch) giving him a new creative outlet to the explore other ideas and interests. And given the fact he’s recently become a father to twins, it makes it all the more impressive. Ep 58: Expect The Unexpected
In today's episode, the final one of 2020, I reflect on the year we’ve just had and discuss how now more than ever, we should expect the unexpected in our lives. Never before, in our lifetimes anyway, have all our worlds been turned so much upside down by the effects of Covid-19. All our dreams, wishes and plans have been abruptly halted, causing us to put the breaks on our fast-paced lives. Whether we like it or not, it’s happened. We can either fight with our reality, attempting to get back to ‘normal’ so we can continue full pelt on the hamster wheel. Or we can take this once in the lifetime opportunity to take a deep pause and reflect on our lives and the choices we make. As we step forth into 2021 and beyond, we have an opportunity to rather than getting lost in plans for the future or worrying about the past, we can instead choose to act more in the present moment and take each day as it comes.
