Dis-Versal Radio Podcast: Episode 21: Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and Epcot Food and Wine!
This week we talk about all the goings on at Disney from Stitch to Epcot Food and Wine Festival. Podcast Notes: Stitches Great Escape will be going down to a seasonal attraction in the begining of next month. What this means is it will only be operational during certain periods of time, like the busy season. The date as of right now for the closing date is Oct. 2nd and wont open again until November 19th, and then closing again November 27th and opening from December 17th thru January 3rd. After that date there is nothing, so we will just have to wait and see what this means for Stitch. This will probably mean that it has met it’s doom and will soon be closed permanintly. Hopefully that means we will see the Wreck it Ralph Virtual Reality attraction that has been rumored lately. If you haven’t heard me talk about this before, Wreck it Ralph is rumored to be taking the place of stitch with a VR attraction that will put you into the Virtual land of Candy Rush video game with Wreck it Ralph and Vanelope. It seems like it should be a great ride if it keeps this concept but nothing concreat has been announced for this attraction, so we will just have to wait and see the fate of Stitch and the coming of Wreck it Ralph. A special One night event for Disney’s Hollywood Studios for Star Wars: Rogue One is rumored to be taking place on December 17th. This will be a hard ticket event that you must purchase a seperate ticket for other than the normal park ticket. This event is said to take place the day after the movies release date and event goers will go watch the movie, and then will be able to come back to Hollywood Studios for a night time of fun and star wars. They did a event like this for Star Wars: The Force Awakens and it was a big hit, so with Rogue One coming out and the huge following star wars has will seem to say this event will be a hit as well. This event is not confirmed yet but will probably be announced soon because December 17th is coming up faster than the millennium falcon on lightspeed!
