Episode 2.2 - Serial Killers, Zombieland 2, and Ghostbusters 3
In this week's episode of Disturbing Talks, Sam and I discuss the latest "Ted Bundy Tapes", that was released in January on Netflix, and the upcoming release of "Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil, and Vile".  We dive into the world of Serial Killers and the darkness that drives them. We mention it various times throughout the podcast, but we just want to reiterate here, as well. We are in no way glorifying the actions of these individuals that we mention in this episode. This was just a dialogue into the psyche of what drives these people to commit such heinous crimes.  After the carnage, we discuss the announcement that we are finally going to get a sequel to horror comedy "Zombieland" and a 2nd sequel to the original Ghostbusters series, directed by Jason Reitman. A lot of exciting things coming up in the horror world, so be sure to check back here for all your updates.

+Episode 40+ The Raking - with Allie Rivera & Bryan Brewer
After a long hiatus, DISTURBING TALKS is back!! Last year was a humbling year for me. After 10 years in the insurance biz I finally decided to pursue my career in filmmaking. Since then, it's been non-stop job hunting and making movies, which has left me neglecting my baby, DISTURBING TALKS. Well, Neglect no more! Today starts off a brand new season with Disturbing Talks and what better way to start it then with some friends of the podcast. With Dread Central's Sean Decker as guest host, we're joined by filmmakers Allie Rivera & Bryan Brewer, who discuss their flick "THE RAKING". Both Allie & Bryan donned many hats on this flick -- with Allie serving as producer and actor, and Bryan as writer, director, actor and producer. The duo discuss their hardships creating this old school, PRACTICAL -- that's right I said practical -- horror flick, set in the desert. They discuss the terrain, the amazing practical monster effects by SyFy's FACE OFF past contestant, Eric Fox, and much more! WARNING: This week's Disturbing question has to do with our current political climate, so if you are at all offended by this subject... Good. It's a fucked up situation and we should all be offended. With that being said, hope you enjoy this week's episode and be sure to tune in for more episodes in the upcoming weeks! THE RAKING is now available on DVD and VOD (Amazon, Vudu, Flix Fling, Vimeo, Google Play, Itunes, and Xbox).  You can follow them on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for all updates on the flick.

Disturbing Talks: Ep. 29 - Surviving Panic Mountain w/ Sinful Celluloid
Back in October Sinful Celluloid founder, Christopher Jimenez, invited me on a journey into Pali Mountain. For the night, that center would be transformed into a Zombie lovers wet dream. Panic Mountain, in its first year, offered an immersive overnight experience; full of mazes, panic rooms, obstacles, and laser tag. Listen to Chris and I talk about our time at Panic Mountain; and dive a little into Chris' history with horror.  The first half of the podcast was recorded in a gazebo right outside our cabin for the evening. With the nostalgia of going to camp in full gear, plus the immense fog, the mood was set for night. After the introduction we hear a transitionary dose of 'Astro Zombies' by The Misfits, then we find ourselves in motion. In the DT mobile we take our journey back home and review our night at Panic Mountain, while managing to always find time to bring it back to Horror.  Be sure to visit Sinful Celluloid here, http://www.sinfulcelluloid.com, and follow them on Twitter to get updates on Horror, classic and modern alike. If Facebook is your thing, well they got one of those too, HERE.  PLEASE be sure to Comment, and Subscribe on iTunes.
