Step 11. 5 Foods and 5 supplements that stimulate your immune system directly
Simple and inexpensive solutions to helping your immune system function better. So far, you’ve heard about a variety of topics from me about the various glands, organs and systems that help protect you from pathogens and foreign invaders. This is the last of the practical or things you can do for yourself. I’ve talked about reducing the emotional stress, environmental toxins, consumed toxins, and lifestyle changes. Today Im going to talk about foods you can ingest that will improve your immunity sometimes dramatically. Why practical steps first rather than energy healing. Question: Can you run faster uphill or downhill? By doing all the practical lifestyle changes to help your immune system, it’s like adjusting your personal ramp to a downhill slope. It just makes energy healing much more effective and it takes less of it to achieve your best results. For example, the results people I’ve worked with improve dramatically each time they take on a healthier lifestyle, even if it is just to meditate for ten minutes a day. 5 Foods That Actually Change Your Immune Response These foods and supplements don’t just increase the general health of your body but improve many important aspects of your immune system. As I’ve mentioned before, your immunity is found in all cells of your body. For example, the way it detects virus infected cells is that your body has an editing process that destroys the cells that are replicating in the wrong way. In order to keep up with things like cancer, colds, flus, and other virus issues is to keep your immune system supercharged. Here are some of the ways you can do it. 1. Bitter flavors – bacterial and fungal pathogens, exude a bitter flavor in flavor receptors not just on the tongue but in the esophagus, lungs, sinuses and stomach. The bitter flavors set a chain of biochemical reactions in place that supercharge the immune system. Studies have shown that those that eat bitter foods have activated immune systems and are sick less often. These bitter foods include grapefruit, arugula, radicchio, cranberry, dandelion greens and curly kale. If you are a supertaster, meaning you are particularly sensitive to bitter flavors (2% of the population), then most green food is bitter including broccoli, most lettuces, brussel sprouts, even asparagus. You are luckier than most as your immune system is always supercharged to fight bacteria. 2. Vitamin C – You’ve heard people speak of vitamin C but you probably don’t know why. It increases production of your white blood cells. It’s better to eat the foods containing them, like strawberries, all citrus, tomatoes, bell peppers, and leafy greens, than to eat the supplements. Even better is to do both, have your vitamin C supplements with healthy produce. 1 to 2 gm a day, and those under a lot of stress need more, up to 3 gm a day, like marathon runner. https://amzn.to/3hDMajt 3. Garlic contains an organo-sulfur compound called allicin which stimulates certain immune cell types, such as macrophages, lymphocytes, natural killer (NK) cells, dendritic cells, and eosinophils. These are used to surround pathogens and help move them out of the body. 4. Ginger reduces inflammation, which is a great support to the immune system, keeps it from being on all the time and wearing out. It also reduces pain and is rich in antioxidants. Turmeric 5. Curcumin or turmeric: it has many amazing properties – decreases inflammation, muscle damage, and preliminary findings show it to be an immune booster and antiviral. 5 Supplements That Support Your Immune System Vitamin D – essential to pathogen fighting effects of monocytes and macrophages – white blood cells – decreases inflammation. Need 20 minutes of sunlight a day on your skin, more if you are above or below the 35th parallel. The only natural supplement is fish liver oil. 1000 to 4000 IU per day https://amzn.to/3jpGv13 Zinc, needed for immune cell development and communication and plays an important role in inflammatory response about 30 mg a day for most. (for example https://amzn.to/32AAyaR) Elderberry extract shows antibacterial and antiviral properties, A review of 4 randomized control studies in 180 people found that elderberry supplements significantly reduced upper respiratory symptoms caused by viral infections https://amzn.to/2QuYoyT Selenium: enhances antiviral defense against flu strains. for most people up to 55 mcg daily. Foods include brazil and walnuts, fresh and saltwater fish, beef and poultry https://amzn.to/31x8K7L or https://amzn.to/2CC0xli for full spectrum of minerals Licorice contains many substances, including glycyrrhizin, that may help protect against viral infections. According to test-tube research, glycyrrhizin exhibits antiviral activity against severe acute respiratory-syndrome-related coronavirus (SARS-CoV) Too much can raise blood pressure and be toxic. I find licorice tea helpful for sore throats and helps fend off things before they arrive. https://amzn.to/2YFMZ3H Elderberry Next time, I’m going to talk about the way you can supercharge the energy of your cells as in energy healing. These are things you can do yourself and for your children and other family members. You all have the equipment! Timeline in the broadcast 4:00 1. Boost your immunity step 10 – Release your negative emotions to empower you.
How to release your “negative” emotions to empower you and your immune system. Get your guided healing audio to do that here: https://scientifichealer.com/emotional Ever noticed that when you go into a room full of happy people, you start feeling happy? How about if you go into a room of people arguing? Don’t you start to get irritated? It’s kind of like mob mentality, people pick up on the emotions the others are feeling. With today’s issues, first starting with the fear and anxiety of the pandemic, a lot of people declared that they were feeling anxious too. These emotions run hot but are low energy and really bring your energy down. Human emotions can be divided in four basic categories. Everything else is a nuance or mixture of the four, much as all colors we perceive are mixtures of three basic colors plus lightness/darkness. These four basic emotions are fear, happiness, sadness, and anger. I find them easy to remember as mad, sad, glad, and fear. Nuances of fear emotions are anxiety, dread, worry, insecurity, terror, and nervousness, of anger emotions: bitterness, guilt, hatred, resentment, and jealousy, and of sad emotions: grief, discouragement, sorrow, sadness, depression, heartache, and feeling forlorn. This is by no means and exhaustive list. On any one day, we have a range of emotions. We were made to have them, the negative emotions serve as protection and impetus for change. Any time you experience emotional pain, you’ll seek to move out of it. How we pick up each other’s emotions: Each emotion has its own frequency so to speak. Just like two tuning forks attuned to the same frequency, when one is rung, the other will vibrate in resonance. That’s what a mob does, they start vibrating together. A party makes a happy mob, while a protest is angry. As soon as you change the emotions that vibrate in your body, you alter who is around you and even your fate. You will attract people similar to you. You will repel those that don’t want to deal with your emotions because basically, you wear them, no matter if you feel positively or negatively. You would think that positive people would attract everyone, but they don’t. Haven’t you ever heard the term “Pollyana” behavior as if it were derogatory or wrong? All low vibrating emotions hurt us if they stay in your long term. You could ask, “why do we have those negative emotions if they’re harmful to us?” The dark emotions such as fear, anger, and sorrow do bring our energies down because they consume us. They are actually meant to protect us and propel us to change. In reality, you feel them temporarily and are not part of your basic makeup. They do not reflect who you are, only who you are being at the moment. How you store or trap emotions in your body. No one wants to be feeling the low energy emotions. Some of us tend to bury them somewhere so we can move forward without acknowledging them. We stuff them somewhere in our bodies to avoid feeling the discomfort. Fear is to help us survive in dangerous situations. Anger for us to realize when our boundaries have been crossed. And sorrow to slow us down to accept a loss. Most of us do not take the time to recuperate, to process them, and go back to nature and self-care. We try to keep going, keep functioning, and keep doing what we’ve always done. It happens like this: When you first encounter something, your first reaction is an emotion, then the thoughts follow. You start thinking of the reasons you’ve had that emotion and its intensity, filling in a full story. That emotional reaction you have at that first millisecond is often mixed in with emotions we’ve stored in one way or another. Recognizing you have trapped emotions You can recognize when this happens, especially in other people, because their reaction to a situation seems out of proportion to the incident. In reality, that person is reacting not just to that incident but also to everything else in his/her life that caused that emotion to store itself in the body. Sometimes, if you are having trouble getting along with someone, there’s always some sort of emotional charge. Many times the source of the emotional charge is difficult to determine because it’s buried deeply and masked by layers of incidents related to that emotion. Emotions can be stored anywhere, not just certain organs. They can be released by processing them, talking through them, or via energy methods, some of which are described here. Where are the consequences of trapped low energy emotions? Certain organs resonate with the frequency of low energy emotions. For example, fear emotions such as anxiety, dread, worry, insecurity, terror, and nervousness tend to get stored in the kidneys and bladder. They can also appear in the heart, lungs and stomach. Anger emotions such as bitterness, guilt, hatred, resentment, even jealousy tend to store in the liver and gall bladder. Sad emotions such as grief, discouragement, sorrow, sadness, depression, heartache, and feeling forlorn tend to store in the lungs and heart. If your field were to be measured as Dr. Burr did, he would have read a lower field around those organs leading to problems. A trapped negative emotion basically dims the light of the area in which it is trapped. It lowers the energy by dropping to a lower frequency. The basic rule of energetics is that energy is proportional to frequency. With lower frequency, that part of your body is not being fed properly; it doesn’t have enough energy to repair, sustain itself, and be free of tumors, cancer, premature degeneration, calcification, and inflammation. Measurements of fields around bodies prior to illness show this to be clearly the case, that illness manifests itself in the energy fields long before it physically manifests. Where you store your emotions impacts your health in that area For example, imagine a low energy emotion is lodged in your liver, some form of anger perhaps. Your liver resonates and vibrates at a lower level. This lower energy is not enough to keep it in perfect health so over the long haul, your liver will start to have problems, say non-alcoholic liver disease or even fail to regulate cholesterol properly. This can affect your entire health as the liver performs 17 major functions of your body, such as cleaning up toxins, regulating cholesterol, providing energy to the muscles, storing glycogen, etc. When the anger is released from the liver, the light is restored, it can then vibrate at the higher frequency, bringing energy and vitality back to the liver. Health to the liver can eventually be restored if not quickly. Once you’re healed, now what? There are a number of things you can do to help maintain a healing, any healing. First, respect and honor your body. This gives your mind the signal that you value yourself and you deserve to be strong and healthy. Rest well, exercise, eat well, drink plenty of water, stay away from alcohol and over the counter drugs/recreational drugs, don’t smoke, lower your stress levels. Second, use positive language to describe yourself and those around you. Watch positive programming, listen to positive music, read positive uplifting books, and hang out with positive people. Positivity is contagious and you’ll help propel yourself forward along your path to perfect health. Third, do simple energetic groundings and clearings and/or listen to the brief clearing meditation found at https://scientifichealer.com/emotional Telling your body that you really care, that you are valuable, puts you in a state of mind that you’re looking to heal and stay well after that. Once you’ve cleared old emotional baggage…. What you want to avoid is to bring up the hurtful or distasteful memory again. I have not found it to be cathartic. Some people will end up dwelling on it and the “infection” recurs over and over. Sometimes the origin of the negative emotions are from growing up in dysfunctional families with a lot of criticism and illogical actions, sometimes you are born with them. Boosting your immune system 9 -Care and nurturing of your skin, the largest organ.
Emotional and physical care of your skin is important protection to you and your longevity. http://scientifichealer.com/wakeupbrain What is your skin? Your skin is the largest organ of your body. It is your connection to the outside world, tactically, emotionally, and spiritually. It is also a major protection to that world. It keeps bacteria out and most other compounds except small molecules like water or solvents like acetone. There are things you should be careful of what you put on your skin as I mentioned before in avoiding skin toxins like methylparabens or sodium lauryl sulfate. Functions of the skin Your skin is the primary protection that keeps germs out of your body and just below the surface, your white blood cells fend off the germs. It also expresses impurities through sweat, so is a major detoxing organ. Sweat serves to cool the body. You need to evaporatively cool your body due to metabolism, either through your respiration or through perspiration. You can perspire up to 8 quarts of water per day, depending on the temperature and amount of activity. If you did not sweat or exhale moisture, your body temperature would raise by about 25 degrees F in one day! It’s that important for keeping you cool. Structure of the skin There are three main layers of the skin: The epidermis is the sealed outer covering, a waterproof barrier and creates our skin tone with melanin. The dermis contains the tough connective tissue, hair follicles and sweat glands. Collagen is the most abundant protein in the skin, comprising 75 to 80% of the organ. The deeper subcutaneous tissues, also called hypodermis, is made of fat and connective tissues. It’s where most of your excess fat resides. Considering this, adding excess fat could mean that you are building a protective layer for yourself to the outside world. The layers of the skin are subdivided into further layers but for the intents and purposes of understanding the skin, three layers are enough. Today, I’m going to take about other ways to care for your skin. You probably didn’t realize how complex it is, like many of your other systems in your body. It reflects what is going on inside the body emotionally, physically and spiritually. It needs to function well for you to be healthy. It also should look good : If your skin is sallow, lacking moisture, vitality, have dark circles under your eyes, or are prematurely wrinkled, then you can imagine that there are problems on the inside of your body. Skin expresses emotions Skin expresses emotions detectable by others through pallor, coldness, “goose bumps”, redness, warmth, or sweating. In fact, there has been scientific (psychologic) evidence of how your skin disorders reflect the emotional and spiritual position of the person suffering them. Persons with visible skin disorders have often been stigmatized or treated as outcasts. Or those suffering them have taken themselves out of contact with others from shame or embarrassment. One of the themes that comes up often with those afflicted with skin issues is whether you are congruent with yourself. Do you have an inner conflict, do you want something but are unwilling to take the steps to do it. So each day, you take yourself out in some way. This will reflect in your skin. This emotional connection to being hyper-vigilant and skin problems are a way of saying you are fearful of contact of some sort. This is a direction to go when thinking about your skin issues. Ask yourself: Who or what do you want to keep from you, contacting you in some way. Who are you wanting to repel? Do you want to isolate yourself for some reason? Other emotional-skin connections Hives, flushing, and loss of color are indications of emotional changes. Stress, anxiety, depression, and other strong emotions can contribute to a large variety of your skin issues, including acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, alopecia, and vitiligo. The skin and central nervous system are intertwined. Stressed people produce more oily discharge that contribute to clogged pores and aggravate acne. Stress can increase inflammation which can worsen eczema and trigger cold sores. One study showed that 45% of patients with psoriasis had anxiety and many were experiencing stressful life events. The stress causes elevated levels of adrenal hormones, which disappear when the body enters the parasympathetic state. Meditation and altered states of consciousness are of enormous help and moving your skin to the healing state. For emotional and spiritual issues of the skin, meditation is known to really help improve and even heal the skin condition. It alters the brain chemistry and moves you into a healing state. The state in which you are hyper-vigilant or basically with your adrenal glands activated all the time. Skin signals to what’s happening on the inside physically. Each skin symptom tell you something about what’s happening inside. Dark circles might indicate a blood sugar imbalance; sallowness a lack of the proper nutrients or ingesting unhealthy compounds like drugs, alcohol or cigarette smoke; premature wrinkles a lack of nutrients, too much sun or too much stress (think botox). If your skin looks terrible for your age, imagine that this is also happening on the inside, to the surfaces of all your internal organs and glands. If you smoked for many years, not only will your skin be unduly wrinkled, sallow, and prematurely aged, so will your lungs, stomach, liver, etc. Four tips for caring for your skin to look good and function well: Physical processes. Sleep and exercise (which helps your body sweat out toxins). These foods are particularly helpful for improving skin health. Leafy dark greens (kale, spinach, collards): vitamins A, C, and E; omega-3s; protein — plus selenium in spinach Eggs: protein, vitamins A and E, selenium, zinc Flaxseeds: omega-3s, selenium Legumes (lentils, chickpeas): protein, zinc Avocados: healthy fats, vitamins C and E Extra virgin olive oil: healthy fats, vitamin E Supplements that help the skin: Drinking a lot of water, which will plump the skin and hydrate it, include eating extra collagen with hyaluronic acid. Good supplements include antioxidants such as Vitamin C. Other supplements are: Vitamins A, B, and E, zinc, fatty acids, evening primrose oil, tulsi (basil) and turmeric. Meditation for moving into the parasympathetic state. Often a skin healing will make you look several years younger right away because it is energized, getting fed by the blood circulating through it at a higher rate, you get relaxed, and the stress is released from your facial muscles. I call it energetic botox. I hope this was very helpful today because no one wants to look older, instead want to look younger. Step 8: boost immunity – Dos and don’ts to improve function of your thyroid, your metabolic engine
One of the most important factors in how quickly your body responds to physical trauma, such as a simple bruise or scratch or invasion of a pathogen, is your thyroid. It is the metabolic engine of your body. It is therefore important to keep it in tip top operating condition. This article and broadcast is on the dos and don’ts for improving your thyroid. https://scientifichealer.com/wakeupbrain to get your free audio. The reason why this information is so important is that thyroid replacement hormone is the most prescribed pill in this country with 115 million prescriptions. There are also many subclinical thyroid dysfunction cases that have gone undiagnosed. This means that even though the thyroid levels are within the “normal” range, the symptoms show a deficiency, which is common. Thyroid dysfunction difficult to diagnose correctly Thyroid issues are hard to diagnose without the proper tests because it is the great pretender. It behaves like other problems, like depression, adrenal insufficiency, chronic fatigue syndrome, high cholesterol problems, high blood pressure, etc. The other problem is that the testing is usually restricted to the levels of TSH or thyroid stimulating hormone. Your pituitary sends TSH to your thyroid telling it your bloodstream needs more thyroid hormone. This process elevates concentration of it your bloodstream. So, if your TSH gets really high, your thyroid is not doing its job. The problem is over 20 years ago, the standards changed but yet many labs did not change their “normal” standards. With the new standards, if your TSH is above 2 mcg/dl, then it is likely there is some functional issue with your thyroid. The old levels showed 4.5 to 5.5 mcg/dl as acceptable. It is mostly not. A better diagnosis is done with more detailed tests of T3, T4 and thyroid antibody levels. They should run mid range of the normal values. If you are suffering from the following symptoms, it is time to get your thyroid checked. Especially if you are a woman and have had children. Pregnancy can affect your thyroid. Hypothyroidism signs and symptoms may include: Fatigue weight gain, difficulty in losing Increased sensitivity to cold Constipation Dry skin or orange tinge to skin Weight gain Puffy face Hoarseness Muscle weakness Elevated blood cholesterol level Muscle aches, tenderness and stiffness Pain, stiffness or swelling in your joints Heavier than normal or irregular menstrual periods Thinning hair Slowed heart rate Depression Impaired memory Enlarged thyroid gland (goiter) carpal tunnel syndrome increased uti’s increased athletes foot high blood pressure, low blood pressure high cholesterol. Hyperthyroidism symptoms may include: bulging eyes, rapid weight loss nervousness hyperventilation heart palpitations First, before you do anything, check your current medications for interference. The Dos for Your Healthy Thyroid Check thyroid regularly It is important to check thyroid levels regularly. A doctor may completely depend upon the blood test for diagnosis and overlook thyroid dysfunction. This leaves many people undiagnosed. Therefore, it is important to have a frank discussion with your doctor and seek clarity. One simple check can help you decide whether it is urgent to get a test: you will need a glass basal thermometer. You can check your temperature upon arising mornings for 10 minutes. If it consistently measures more than a degree below normal (98.6 F), you could be hypothyroid. I measured 96 F consistently, for example. Drink a lot of water Thyroid patients must always drink water without chlorine. Water also ensures cleaning the liver and kidneys of toxins. 3. Highly recommended nutrients. Iodine: Without iodine your body simply cannot make these thyroid hormones. Iodine deficiency is unfortunately very common, though we can increase our intake of it by consuming iodine rich foods such as seaweed, fortified dairy products and seafood. Fruits and vegetables grown in oceanic coastal areas have a richer iodine content than those grown inland. Higher incidences of goiter are found there due to lack of iodine. L-tyrosine helps your body make thyroid hormone. It is precursor much like being a precursor to dopamine. Take 1 gm daily away from food https://amzn.to/3blBweh. Selenium: found in brazil nuts, alfalfa, broccoli, butter, eggs, fish, garlic, onion, turnips and seafood. Selenium is acts as a catalyst (the enzymes depend on Se) to aid in converting thyroid hormone T4 to the metabolically active T3. Selenium is also a potent antioxidant; protecting the gland from oxidative stress. 4. Cook your brassicas or other goitrogens, which are thought to interfere with thyroid function. These vegetables like kale, broccoli and cauliflower are delicious and nutritionally dense. There are arguments back and forth as to whether they actually interfere with thyroid function. However, it is known that cooking these foods helps diminish the anti-thyroid effects of goitrogens. 5. Stay away from starvation or crash diets, which serve to shuts down your thyroid. A better strategy is to consume 3 to 4 meals a day, with protein, complex and fibrous carbs and whole foods like fruit. Choose a balanced diet, meaning containing a good balance of fats, protein and carbohydrates rather than stringently restrict one or the other. Starvation mode shuts down thyroid and slows your metabolism to crawl. This is when you become susceptible to colds and infections, meaning your immune system is on holiday. 6. Be careful with SOY – which has been shown to have a connection with suppression of thyroid function. My symptom was I was hungrier after I ate soy containing foods and it caused my hair to fall out. Shown to block iodine absorption. Not everyone has this issue, test it out for yourself. 7. Stop eating gluten – Intolerances and allergies to gluten (meaning all grains, not just wheat, rye and barley) are on the rise. There is a lot of evidence to show that autoimmune thyroid disorders are linked with gluten intolerance. It is said that the protein portion of gluten is molecularly similar to that of the thyroid and when our body absorbs it into the blood stream our immune system signals for it to be destroyed. The body then mistakes the thyroid for this tagged protein and then attacks the thyroid. Complete elimination of gluten from your diet is important if you have an autoimmune thyroid disorder such as Hashimotos or Graves’ disease. 8. Consume more anti-oxidants. Fortunately these foods like strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and colourful vegetables are delicious. Anti-oxidants are well known to help lower the signs of aging and fight degenerative disease but they’re also fantastic for your thyroid, especially if you have an autoimmune thyroid disorder. Look for things high on the ORAC scale, like cacao, one of the highest. blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, pecans, artichokes, spinach, kale and beets, 9. Other beneficial supplements include CoQ10, vitamin C, Vitamin B, and Vitamin D. Some supplements such as calcium, iron, multivitamins containing iron, and antacids containing magnesium or aluminum can potentially have interactions with thyroid medications. Take these if needed in the evening away from your thyroid dose if you are on replacement therapy. 10. Exercise such as walking, yoga or resistance exercises can improve your metabolic function. The Don’ts for avoiding thyroid dysfunction Avoid smoking or drinking alcohol – Alcohol is a depressant and suppresses the thyroid gland functions. Tobacco or smoking blocks the iodide ration and synthesis of hormones. Don’t restrict one macronutrient over others.– Fats, protein, and carbohydrates are the big macronutrients. They play a significant role in thyroid regulation in the body. However, following a low-carb diet can adversely affect the thyroid because of the lack of energy provided the body. Equally bad are non-fat or trans-fat eating patterns for those with thyroid issues. Essential fats are needed for several functions in the body and trans-fats are damaging. Avoid sugar and caffeine – Caffeine tends to stress the body and so does sugar. Consuming caffeine is smaller quantities is acceptable for some as it helps them reduce inflammation as it helps open up the blood vessels. Choose cacao instead of coffee or tea because of the high antioxidant content. Consuming more than the recommended amount of caffeine can alter the TSH levels produced by the pituitary glands. Do not self-medicate – Often thyroid patients in their struggle to feel better turn to the internet for help. The internet is filled with personal anecdotes and conflicting information on which medicines to use. You should get familiar with the symptoms and conditions that are thyroid-related but talk with a licensed doctor familiar with thyroid issues and get a proper prescription before you decide your own treatment. A clue to that would be what tests do they order to check your thyroid if you are complaining about energy levels and have many of the symptoms. If they only order a TSH, look elsewhere. Good doctors would be found amongst DO, naturopathic, or functional medicine doctors. Don’t eat right after you take thyroid hormone: According to the Mayo Clinic, supplements such as calcium, iron, multivitamins containing iron, and antacids containing magnesium or aluminum can potentially have interactions with thyroid medications. Avoid foods with high glycemic index: Restrict food with a high glycemic index such as corn, white bread, refined flour, muffins, cakes. Such food items incre

Step 7 on boosting your immune system: improving function and health of your liver.
Boost your immune system by improving function and health of your liver. Tips for lifestyle, diet and supplements. https://www.scientifichealer.com/emotional for free powerful healing audio Recently, you’ve been hearing about straightforward ways to improve your immune system. You learned your immune system is in your whole body and you also learned various ways to detox, what skin toxins to avoid, where to find them. You have also heard that some foods often advertised as healthy should be avoided. In the last two broadcasts, you’ve learned ways to protect and heal your adrenal glands. These glands can send your nervous into the sympathetic mode which is the reactive, flight or flight, sending out stress hormones that tear down your body. In this state, your body is difficult to heal. You can also move into the parasympathetic or healing state by various techniques, visualization, hypnosis, meditation, in a power stance, or dissipating your nervous energy with movement, for example. Last time, you heard about lifestyle and nutritional support for your adrenal glands. Today’s broadcast is on the health of your liver: The liver is your second largest organ after your skin, it weighs 3 lbs and goes across your lower rib cage, larger on the right than left. It is a very unusual organ because it can completely recover from removal of 2/3 of it. If you have 1/3 of a healthy liver, it will regrow. It is the only organ of its kind in that it has approximately 500 known functions in the body. Here are a few common ones: Production of bile, which helps carry away waste and break down fats in the small intestine during digestion Production of certain proteins for blood plasma Production of cholesterol and special proteins to help carry fats through the body Conversion of excess glucose into glycogen for storage (glycogen can later be converted back to glucose for energy) and to balance and make glucose as needed Regulation of blood levels of amino acids, which form the building blocks of proteins Processing of hemoglobin for use of its iron content (the liver stores iron) Conversion of poisonous ammonia to urea (urea is an end product of protein metabolism and is excreted in the urine) Clearing the blood of drugs and other poisonous substances Regulating blood clotting Resisting infections by making immune factors and removing bacteria from the bloodstream Clearance of bilirubin, also from red blood cells. If there is an accumulation of bilirubin, the skin and eyes turn yellow. When the liver has broken down harmful substances, its by-products are excreted into the bile or blood. Bile by-products enter the intestine and leave the body in the form of feces. Blood by-products are filtered out by the kidneys, and leave the body in the form of urine. As I mentioned in a previous broadcast, the liver is damaged by excess consumption of alcohol, leading to cirrhosis of the liver, which is basically a cooking of the liver from the inside out. Some people suffer non-alcoholic liver disease and those tend to suffer more with alcohol, toxin and drug consumption. In summary, the liver is one of your most important organs in your body for your immune system. It brings energy and oxygen to your body, it clears out inflammation, and purifies the blood of chemicals and toxic metabolic products such as urea so your body can remain healthy and functioning well. What is the best way to take care of your liver? First, eliminate ingestion of toxic stuff. Anything that is not a food, even if it is deemed okay by the FDA, taxes the liver. This includes alcohol, medications, fillers, artificial flavors and colors and sweeteners, pesticides, antibiotics included in animal products or milk, recreational drugs, and even GMO foods that were not in the food supply before they were developed. Change your mediation only in partnership with your doctor or find a naturopathic or functional medicine doctor that can help with that. Above are the obvious toxins that tax the liver. Basically it means eat organic as much as possible and stop ingesting things that aren’t food, like GMO. Remember, you vote with your wallet. The more we buy organic food and the less we buy conventional, the more farmers will grow better food and it will become more affordable. From the time I started eating organic 30 years ago to now, the price differential has come down a lot. Going to a lot of the local grocery stores, you’ll find organic food now in all of them whereas it was rare and very expensive before. You can learn more about clean food at reputable websites: Check out the organization ewg.org where you can find clean, organic, non-gmo foods as well as the dirty dozen (foods with high pesticide content) and the clean fifteen (conventional foods with low pesticide content). Remember, washing your pesticide laden food only gets the chemicals off, but not the low vibrational poison or death energy off completely. Better organic than not. Dirty dozen: Strawberries Spinach Kale Nectarines Apples Grapes Peaches Cherries Pears Tomatoes Celery Potatoes Clean 15 Avocados Sweet corn Pineapple Onions Papaya Sweet peas (frozen) Eggplants Asparagus Cauliflower Cantaloupes Broccoli Mushrooms Cabbage Honeydew melon Kiwi Some foods and supplements are particularly healing and restorative to the liver. Here are four of these foods: 1. Blueberries and cranberries both contain anthocyanins, antioxidants that give berries their distinctive colors. Blueberries helped increase immune cell response and antioxidant enzymes Another experiment found that the types of antioxidants found commonly in berries slowed the development of lesions and fibrosis, the development of scar tissue, in the livers of rats. What’s more, blueberry extract has even been shown to inhibit the growth of human liver cancer cells in test-tube studies. 2. Red and purple grape:The most famous one is resveratrol, benefits: including lowering inflammation, preventing damage and increasing antioxidant levels 3. Beetroot juice is a source of nitrates and antioxidants called betalains, which may benefit heart health and reduce oxidative damage and inflammation Several rat studies have shown that beetroot juice reduces oxidative damage and inflammation in the liver, as well as increases natural detoxification enzymes 4. Cruciferous vegetables like Brussels sprouts, broccoli and mustard greens are known for their high fiber content and distinctive taste. They are also high in beneficial plant compounds. Animal studies have shown Brussels sprouts and broccoli, even cooked, sprout extract increase levels of detoxification enzymes and protect the liver from damage A recent study in men with fatty liver found that broccoli sprout extract, which is high in beneficial plant compounds, improved liver enzyme levels and decreased oxidative stress The same study found that the broccoli sprout extract prevented liver failure in rats. Bonus: Olive oil is considered a healthy fat including positive effects on heart and metabolic health. One small study in 11 people with NAFLD (non-alcoholic fatty liver disease) found that consuming one teaspoon (6.5 ml) of olive oil per day improved liver enzyme and fat levels. This led to raised levels of a protein associated with positive metabolic effects, resulting in less fat accumulation, improved insulin sensitivity (meaning type 2 diabetes improvement), and better blood flow in the liver. Fat accumulation in the liver is part of the first stage of liver disease. Therefore, olive oil’s positive effects on liver fat, as well as other aspects of health, make it a valuable part of a healthy diet. Three top liver supplements for improving liver function 1. Milk thistle reduces and reverses damage cause by free radicals and toxins, contains silymarin, a flavonoid mixture with great anti-oxidative properties. 2. Artichoke extract Two antioxidants found in artichokes, cynarin and silymarin, have been shown to improve the overall health of the liver by reducing the presence of toxins and facilitating their elimination from the liver and the body. 3. Turmeric The antioxidant effect of turmeric appears to be so powerful that it may stop your liver from being damaged by toxins. This could be good news for people who take strong drugs for diabetes or other health conditions that might hurt their liver with long-term use. Step 6 to Improve Your Immunity: Nutritional/ lifestyle support with focus on your adrenal glands
Improve Your Immune Function with Nutritional – lifestyle support with focus on your adrenal glands. https://scientifichealer.com/WakeUpBrain Your Adrenal Glands Are Important Energy Producers When I see people with exhausted adrenals, they also have overtaxed thyroid glands and livers not working well. These are your major energy supplying system. They need to function well for optimal immunity. Today, you’ll hear about nutritional support for your adrenal glands, including lifestyle, supplements, and herbs that have been very helpful for people like you that come to me for help. Two Proven Lifestyle Tips to Improve Your Health and Reduce Underlying Conditions 1. Your first tip: have at least 3, better 4, small feedings a day at least 3 hours apart but no more than 5. Studies have shown that keeping your blood sugar stable throughout the day reduces the stresses on the body. People that ate frequent small meals also showed reduced number of heart attacks, strokes, and inflammation leading to high cholesterol or triglycerides. In other words, they were healthier. 2. An addendum to the meal frequency suggestion is to start meals with proteins, fats and vegetables. The purpose of this is to introduce foods that slow the uptake of blood sugar into your body so you don’t have a rapid sugar rise and then a crash. Nutritional Support for Your Adrenal Glands 3. Try brain boosting foods. A. L-tyrosine is an amino acid and a precursor to dopamine and component of thyroid hormone. If you need it, you will notice increased mental alertness and more energy. Usually 1000 mg is enough for a morning dose taken half hour before meals to prevent food interference is enough. Good brands are inexpensive, e.g., https://amzn.to/3exBeBL & https://amzn.to/3h9Qzd8 B. L-carnitine helps the liver supply energy to the muscles. A therapeutic dose is 2 grams a day; it usually comes in 500 mg tablets https://amzn.to/30h9zQh or https://amzn.to/2OxZlFW This is not a cheap supplement because of the purity standards needed. C. Organic cacao powder has a very high anti-oxidant content and contains a beneficial alkaloid to your body and delicious in smoothies. You’ll have to test out which brand you like the best: https://amzn.to/2CKBBf6, https://amzn.to/395obGv or https://amzn.to/2ZCVLRc. Please test things out one at a time to see if you gain any benefit from them. Keep testing until you’re on the minimum to keep you going optimally. Some people just keep taking tons of supplements, even a cup filled with pills each meal, which is expensive and unnecessary. Adaptogens Can Transform Your Response to Stress 4. *Adaptogens* are a class of food that help calm the anxiety or stress down or improve your response to stress (and sometimes this topic is controversial). Here are my top few that I found very helpful (and notice if I stop them). Note that you have to take them for at least 3 weeks to notice an effect. A. Siberian ginseng or eleuthero. Aside from helping the body cope with stress, it acts as a stimulant to the nervous system and boosts energy levels. It stimulates the immune system, stabilizes blood sugar, improves concentration and reduces the duration and intensity of respiratory infections. https://amzn.to/3fCeba3 or https://amzn.to/2WIsvXp B. Ashwaganda, a nightshade which you may be allergic to. You can get it in tea or powder form (doesn’t taste that good, it’s an acquired taste) https://amzn.to/3eyFSiD or in capsules https://amzn.to/2ZAqRZy. It has a variety of uses, such as reducing inflammation and blood pressure while increasing the activity of your immune cells and thyroid gland. C. Maca root powder improves libido, fertility, mood, and symptoms of adrenal fatigue. https://amzn.to/3fEIJbs or https://amzn.to/3fEIJbs D. Rhodiola rosea reduces cortisol output in times of stress and increases energy/enhances concentration. You might even want to rotate the different options in and out to help with effectiveness. pill https://amzn.to/3h8DMIc or powder https://amzn.to/39135sQ One of the best immune boosting tips is to keep your adrenals in tip-top shape. Boost Immunity Step 5: Reduce Stress Tips to Improve Adrenals
You probably have heard of these two little glands that are perched atop your kidneys. So small yet so powerful. https://scientifichealer.com/stress These glands are there to help push you past what you normally can do in times of stress. They secrete stimulant hormones like adrenaline, cortisol and other similar steroids to push your system into overdrive. High levels of stress hormones are not meant to course through your body day and night. Here is the really important fact: while your adrenal glands are secreting their hormones, your body is tearing itself down. It cannot heal or at least heal well. The sad fact is in a modern fast paced society like the USA, 2/3 of its citizen have failing or failed adrenal glands. All the buzzing, dinging of devices, driving in traffic, the current pandemic and now the curfews happening across America to protest the horrible acts by police has further send our adrenal glands into overdrive. You might ask how do I know my adrenals are failed. Here are some of the symptoms of insufficiency (could also be Addison’s disease). When you stand up, especially if you haven’t eaten in a while, you feel light headed. When you sleep 8 or more hours but can’t wake up easily, especially if you are normally a morning person, and or feel tired until about noon or so. low blood pressure low blood sugar or hypoglycemia salt cravings, darkening of your skin, weight loss and decreased appetite. This also causes serious issues with your immune system and hamper brain function leading to forgetfulness and confusion. What is the solution to improving adrenal function and hence your immunity? First, the fastest way to helping yourself is to take steps to relieve the stress in your life and then add practices into your life that will help get you there more quickly. I have used these often because I am one of those that has a tendency to over think and stress out over things. I have high expectations of myself and often bite off more than I can chew. I also feel the moods of others and until I recognized they were not my moods, I took on that stress too. I couldn’t stand up without my body shaking uncontrollably sometimes. Often I felt like I was going to faint. This is when I got the sickest. Here are some stress busting methods: Improve posture If you have someone you feel safe with, give and get hugs. Have more fun. Get into the moment after a mini meditation and do something you really enjoy, a hobby, a hike or call a good friend and chat about fun stuff. put on a comedy and laugh a lot. look up jokes and humor and make a collection of your favorite Meditate (https://scientifichealer.com/wakeupbrain) Take a walk or do some yoga. Music. Listen to gentle music, not ones with loud and angry words, but something that inspires you and makes you feel happy or want to dance to. These are 7 of the 26 tips in my stress busting guide that I have available. To get the balance of these tips, get it here: http://scientifichealer.com/stress

Step 4 to Boost Immunity: 2 Fast Tips – Substitute Unhealthy Fats and Sweeteners
Today, you’ll hearing about finding immune boosting substitutes for supposedly healthy foods that are in fact not. They are in the realms of fats and sweeteners. https://www.scientifichealersuniversity.com/offers/NJoRs8ZH You may be wondering why I would talk about these things as an energy healer. First of all, I’m not just an energy healer, I’m a scientist. My field of study is in vibrations of matter. I know how vibrations of one thing will resonate with another and how all matter is composed of energy. I have studied, researched and published on this topic for over 40 years. There are unhealthy foods that are sold as healthy Fortunately, the two foods that I’m going to focus on today have tastier and healthier alternatives. I’m going to talk about why each is unhealthy and what you can substitute. Advertising and hype have sold us on how healthy these foods are for you because they supposedly solve a problem. Both of these types of foods are manmade, and they fall into the fats and sweetener categories. It’s scary how much misinformation is out there to sell to you. 1. Unhealthy fat substitutions The first surprising thing you’ll read about is margarine. It was developed as a cheap alternative to butter and sold has a healthy food because it only contained vegetable oils and was devoid of saturated fats. They called this heart healthy. Saturated fats have been vilified for a long time, but it isn’t the saturation that’s the problem. It’s the composition of the fat, not just the chemical composition but the geometry of the fat. These are known as trans fats. Did you know that trans fats are the exact same composition as healthy omega 3 fats, they are just arranged differently around their bonds. They are created when the healthy unsaturated fats are heated, raising their melting point so you can make bars out of what was liquid. A U.S. government panel of scientists determined that man-made trans fats are unsafe at any level. After companies pushing this relatively cheap source of fat as the way to get butter flavor without the “problems” butter caused, it was discovered that, in actuality, margarines caused a worse buildup of plaque in arteries than butter ever did. It is a non-food stuff that disrupts liver function amongst other things and causes inflammation. Hydrogenated oils and fats are also best to be avoided. It takes longer for them to go rancid so they are used in crackers, potato and corn chips, mac and cheese, and all other packaged foods containing fats for flavor. It’s one step away from eating plastic. Rather opt for butter, healthy oils like olive, avocado, macadamia, almond and walnut oil. Keep refrigerated to preserve their quality. For salads and veggie flavorings, use lemon juice, herbs, and spices to add flavor, and get rid of all these added salts and fats. A second manmade oil: Canola Oil Has often been sold as healthy because of its’ high monounsaturated acid content but it is also heated to be extracted from GMO rapeseed (to reduce the poisonous erucic acid normally found in it.) You’ll have noticed that a lot of the healthy snack companies are moving to olive oil, avocado oil or macadamia nut oil. More expensive but naturally healthy and naturally containing high concentrates of monounsaturated oil. You might ask why. Studies have found that up to 4.6% of canola oil has trans-fats in them. If you don’t believe me, open a bag of chips made with canola oil. Smell it. What does it smell like? Does it smell like fried chips or does it smell like used motor oil? Besides chips, you’ll find canola oil in crackers, salad dressings, mayonnaise, and a host of other foods made with fats. Read your labels. Rather opt for grass fed butter and the healthy oils named above How to sweeten your food without poisoning yourself Using artificial sweeteners solves reducing your sugar or caloric intake, whether you are watching your weight or controlling your blood sugar. They are used in a huge array of products, some in unexpected places, like toothpaste, mouthwash, cough drops, instant tea and coffee mixes, sugar free candies, cough drops, liquid medicines, children’s chewable vitamins, etc. Read your labels and look for aspartame, sucralose, neotame, acesulfame potassium, and saccharine. You ask, what is so unhealthy about these? In small amounts they are deemed safe? It helps with sweet cravings, after all we humans are designed to look for sweet foods. Studies have shown that these specific artificial sweeteners destroy your good bacteria in your gut very quickly. Why is this important, bacteria are bacteria, right? In fact, there are healthy bacteria that are needed to modulate your immune system, promote a healthy brain, and controls appetite and weight. Normally this ratio is 85% healthy to 15% unhealthy or pathogen like e. coli or staph. You have more bacteria in and on your body than you have cells in your body. You are a symbiotic being with good bacteria being your buddies. They help produce your neurotransmitters and vitamins like vitamin B in your gut, they protect your gut lining, and keep the pathogens under control. They also keep your cholesterol under control and regulate your blood sugar. It doesn’t take much to cause an imbalance problem: eating one sugarless Ricola gave me a whole night of gassy output, meaning the small amount of aspartame was feeding the pathogens and killing the good bacteria. (As a note, foods containing glyphosate or roundup herbicide do the same things to you). Recent studies show one diet soda can wipe out all the good bacteria in your gut and it takes days to recover. But don’t worry! You don’t have to give up low calorie or low glycemic foods. Here are the sweeteners deemed safe to your all important bacteria: stevia (get the pure powder without fillers), inulin, xylitol and erythritol, if you can tolerate them. You can also add small amounts of lemon juice or fruit juice to things to sweeten them up. The sour flavor improves your perception of sweetness. To improve your good gut bacteria, use safe toothpaste and mouthwash (Burt’s Bees: https://amzn.to/2AFK822, Hello Oral Care: https://amzn.to/38COIL2, https://amzn.to/3e8hd4l) , eat fibrous whole organic produce, eat prebiotic foods (artichoke, green bananas, asparagus, apples) or supplements like Hyperbiotics powder (https://amzn.to/2Z9iAvh) or Ora tablets (https://amzn.to/2ZOlZ1T), eat polyphenols, cacao powder, olive oil, green tea or roiboos tea https://amzn.to/2DerZt1. Step 3 for Boosting Immunity: Two important tips on taking care of your skin to improve your resilience
Today’s hot tips include being wary of ingredients found in water and your common skin care products. You might not be aware of how harmful these things can be. By themselves, once in a while, it shouldn’t pose a problem. However, the effects are cumulative and your water, shampoos/conditioners, moisturizers, lipsticks, sunblock, and even your soap bars contain ingredients you’ll hear about today. https://scientifichealer.com/appointment On the first day You heard about the complexity of your immune system. It’s not just one gland organ or system but incorporates the whole body. One way to improve its function quickly is to start a detox process on the body. On the first day, we talked about drinking plenty of water. On the second day, we talked about clearing out three of the worst toxins people ingest. Those included smoking, drinking alcohol, and cutting down on sugar consumption. This helps unburden your immune reactions by helping the liver, brain, lungs, including oxygen consumption. Today I’m going to talk about your toxic environment. There are several ways toxins show up in your home and outdoor environment. Today, you’ll hear about some of the most important ones. The first environmental toxin affects your thyroid. Your thyroid drives your metabolism. The faster your metabolism, the faster it can react to an outside threat. It is well known that those with a compromised metabolism through thyroid dysfunction get sick more often. Thyroid disease is rampant in this country. Thyroid hormone is one of the most prescribed medication in the usa, reaching nearly 120 million prescriptions. If you consider that our population is about 330 million, this means that a great proportion of Americans are thyroid deficient. If you include those that are subclinical (an even larger number of people), too many people suffer hypertension, high cholesterol, dry skin, muscle weakness, and are more prone to infection. My year of severe thyroid suppression, I was in bed with infections and illness more than I was upright whereas in the prior 20 years, I barely had a sniffle. A deficient thyroid compromises your immune system in a big way. Here’s one of the major and less known ways the thyroid is affected: the chlorination of your water. It’s not as much of an issue if you drink it; it is much more damaging when you shower with it. The shower water is atomized and the chlorine goes right into your lungs into your bloodstream. It has the same electronic configuration as iodine, one of the main chemicals in your thyroid hormone. Chlorine can substitute for iodine, disrupting your metabolism. What to do about this? You could get a whole house filter system to take out the impurities in water. That’s very expensive. The simple solution is to put a $20 to $25 in-line chlorine filter on your shower head. It totally changes the odor in your shower. It suppresses the chlorine and protects your thyroid. Check out these solutions available on Amazon: https://amzn.to/2NJn7hE or https://amzn.to/3ijRVn1 These are very similar to the one we have. The second set of toxins are additives, perfumes and preservatives in skin products. They disrupt your hormones, in other words, how your body reacts to outside pathogens. Links to healthy products at the end of this section: 1. The first is parabens. They are found in shampoos, moisturizers, liquid hand soaps, make up, for example. It is essentially a cheap preservative in nearly 60% of all cosmetic products. It is absorbed through your skin and accumulates in your body. They are estrogenic and disrupts hormonal balances. Tenuous links have been made between parabens and breast cancer have been made, thus one of the many ways parabens compromise your health. There are other alternatives include antioxidant oils, vitamin E, rosemary extract, even sodium benzoate. Look for organic shampoos, make up, and moisturizers without parabens. See list at end of this article. 2. The next is fragrances: they are in 50% of the cosmetic processes. Fragrances are trademarked secrets so are not subject to the same disclosure laws as others. Research into these fragrances have found that a great percentage of them have harmful ingredients in them. The FDA found fragrances were responsible for up to 30% of all allergic reactions to cosmetic products. Allergens are one of the ways your immune system is inflamed or rather sends your body into inflammation. As soon as your body is inflamed, your immune system is compromised. Healthier alternatives are fragrance free or high quality essential oils, which are natural. Essential oils such as thyme, rosemary, lavender, citrus. 3. Triclosan is commonly used as a preservative in skin care products. It’s also in a lot of hand sanitizers as it has antibacterial properties. It has shown to be a hormone disruptor and leads to allergic reactions of the skin and eyes. Another problem with this as an antibacterial is that it kills bacteria indiscriminately, good and bad. It doesn’t improve any benefit over washing with soap and water. There’s some evidence that use of triclosan can lead to growth of superbugs. It can also build up in your fat cells and can be detected in breast milk, blood, and urine. 4. Sodium lauryl sulfate or SLS is found in foaming products like shampoo and soaps. Its purpose is to make bubbles and a smooth feel to the product. It is one of the most sensitizing ingredients in skin care products. Its impurities also affect you, especially your kidneys and liver. Alternatives: The alternatives to sodium lauryl sulphate would be Ingredients that contain vitamin E Ingredients with antiseptic properties Anti-inflammatory ingredients Those high in allantoin Hydrolyzed wheat benzoic acid Benzyl benzoate 5. Other dangerous compounds are –Pthalates, This ingredient makes cosmetics flexible and less prone to breaking. Also called a plasticiser, many skincare products and cosmetics contain phthalates to keep them soft and pliable. Phthalates may disrupt hormones, especially in men and children. It could also possibly cause adverse effects on the reproductive system. It has an association with many health issues, such as diabetes, ADHD and even cancer. If you want to avoid these chemicals, it’s not easy. Manufacturers aren’t required to list the specific chemicals that make up fragrances, and those fragrances can often contain phthalates, which help make smells last longer. Look out for: Phthalate, DEP, DBP, DEHP, fragrance. Alternatives to phthalates: Diethyl Phthalate (CAS 84-66-2) which is useful as a solvent and a fixative in fragrances as the alternative to diethyl phthalate in personal care products. Di Propylene Glycol is an excellent, inexpensive and odourless alternative. It is a better solvent than propylene glycol. Isopropyl Myristate also represents a well-known option. Benzyl Benzoate Resins –Petrolatum (mineral oil, paraffin wax, benzene and names that end in “eth”) as emollients like lip balms and moisturizers. –Coal tar – Makes your lipstick and other colors more vibrant. It is carcinogenic and can cause acne and allergic breakouts. Look out for: FD&C or D&C, chemical colours ( BLUE 1, GREEN 3, etc.). –Formaldehyde used as an antibacterial preservative. Look out: Like formaldehyde, formaldehyde-releasing preservatives are also known allergens and sensitizers. The commonly used formaldehyde-releasers to avoid are: Imidazolidinyl urea Diazolidinyl urea Bronopol DMDM hydration Sodium hydroxymethylglycinate 5-Bromo-5-nitro-1,3-dioxane Quaternium-15 Look out for ingredient names that end with Formaldehyde, formalin, bromopol, or glyoxal. There are other products to worry about like bleach, cleaners, paints, plastics, and so forth. You will be hearing more about these in the coming weeks. I hope this has opened your eyes to dangers in the most innocuous places where interference of your immune system can happen without you being aware there was a danger in the first place. Boost Your Immune System 2: Avoid these three toxic substances
Last time, you heard how complex your immune system. It’s clear from what I talked about, mainly that your whole body is involved in immune defense, whether it comes through your nose/sinuses, your stomach, when you scratch your skin, or even when something soaks into our skin, your body goes into high alert, your adrenal glands fire, and your immune system goes to work helping your body defend itself. The problem in today’s world, it’s often weakened and compromised. How is it compromised? To make it short and sweet, it’s compromised because it’s overloaded. Unloading the stresses on your immune system is the fastest way to strengthen it. One way is to help your body detox from the toxic load on it. The first step is to take in more water to help flush out the toxins. It has the added benefit of helping your skin look smoother, fresher and younger, help your brain function with clarity and cognitive abilities, help your muscles work better and promote your bone marrow to produce the immune fighting white blood cells. Introduction to Step 2 on Detoxing Today I’m going to mention 3 major toxins to avoid ingesting and next time we’ll talk about your environmental toxins and their affect on your system. Then you’ll hear about your microbiomes and how they help your body defend itself. There’s a lot more coming in the upcoming broadcasts. Smoking is a major toxin, not just cigarettes First thing to cut down or cut out is smoking. Anything that is producing ash and is laden with toxins, and breathing it into your lungs compromises your ability to get oxygen from the air. It can be cigars, cigarettes, smog, second hand smoke, pot smoking, or breathing in campfire ash. Compromising your lungs deprives you of oxygen One of the major problems with the current pandemic is the virus affects the lung tissue in such a way that your body is starved of oxygen and it doesn’t even know it’s happening until it’s too late. Some people brought into the hospital were measured with only a 70% oxygenation in their blood and they didn’t even realize it. A lot of the people were complaining that it felt like an elephant was sitting on their chest. The problem with smoking anything is that it is associated with emphysema and heart disease, both on the compromised list of people in the current pandemic. You can also see how it affects your systems by looking at long time smokers and how their lack of getting enough oxygen affects them for yourself. You often see crepe-y skin, grayed, and looking older than their age. What you see on the outside is also happening on the inside. Imagine opening up someone, like a surgeon does, and seeing all your organs sagging, wrinkled and greyed. So it isn’t just the lungs any more, it’s the heart, liver, adrenal glands, pancreas, kidneys, brain, and skin and more. I know how difficult it is to quit smoking, one of the most difficult. I’ve seen people try it and few succeed. Those are the ones who get to live past 60 or survive a pandemic like this one. Excess alcohol consumption affects two of your most important organs The second thing to cut down on is alcohol consumption. Although you may have heard of resveratrol, a red wine constituent that helps promote heart health. The studies conducted in Europe were with very low alcohol content red wine and you can now buy this compound without the alcohol. There are a LOT of wine drinkers out there, they are clubs, wine tours, in both Europe and California, where people are totally into it. They taste and drink one glass at a time, not a whole bottle. If you are one of these, the one glass isn’t going to be an issue. It’s the ongoing large scale consumption that’s a problem. There are two major effects that over consumption of alcohol creates issues for. The first is the effect on the brain. As I mentioned yesterday, the brain must function for the body to heal properly. It’s the first thing I heal when someone comes to me for help, whether they need it or not. The brain must work properly for chronic pain to heal, for your glands, organs and systems to function properly and for your memory to stay intact. People going downhill with dementia or Alzheimer’s are perfect examples. You see before your own eyes how things are failing, whether it’s quick, like a year or two or slowly, like lasting up to 8 years. Drinking alcohol hastens this process. The second major effects is compromising your liver, your major blood detoxifying organ. Your liver works very hard to get all that alcohol out of your body as quickly as possible. Drinking alcohol is the major cause of cirrhosis, a hardening of parts of the liver. It’s essentially cooking it from the inside out. The liver can regenerate itself (the only organ that does so quickly) and can come back with only one third of it functioning. This is another way to compromise yourself. Sugar consumption affects immunity directly The last thing I’m going to talk about today is sugar consumption. The average daily sugar consumption per capita in the USA is over a quarter pound. That’s 3 to 4 cans of sugary soda per day. Drinking 2 cans alone is known to suppress your immune system for up to 6 hours. This is 2 12 oz or small cans. What about all those latte’s, chai, kombucha, sweet iced teas? People love their sugary drinks. But those drinks are hurting them by suppressing their immune systems. Sugar affects the way your white blood cells attack bacteria. Certain non-nutritive sweeteners could be just as bad, and we’ll be talking about that next in another episode. High sugar consumption also prevents you from eating nutritionally dense food like fruits, vegetables and nuts. People on sugar or dextrose IV’s to help feed them while they can’t eat suffer blood vessel inflammation, which then causes the liver to send out bad cholesterol to help protect you from it. Continual high sugar consumption also makes you prone to diabetes. The more inflammation, the more your immune system is being taxed. Over all, a little sugar is not a problem. Keeping it to a few grams a day. One 12 oz soda has close to 40 grams and can send you over budget fast. Instead eat your sugar in whole fruits or with fatty foods to help slow down their ingestion and incorporation into your blood stream to prevent those high blood sugar spikes that are so dangerous and lead to massive immune system suppression. In Summary: Cut down on smoking, even pot Cut down alcohol consumption Cut down on sugar consumption. Join me next time as I talk about environmental toxins you might not be aware of and what to do about it. And then I’ll talk further about detoxing the easy way. Activating Your Life Force Energy Field for You and Your House: EMF Protection
Clayten Stedmann and Jeffrey Stegman, the founders of FLFE Innovations Corp., keep upgrading their activation of the high consciousness field in and around you and your home. You’ve already heard them twice on this show: The first was about how your home environment was changed by activating the highconsciousness field in and around your home. https://scientifichealer.com/radio/flfe/ The second was about activating the health level of the occupants in the home and added phone service. https://scientifichealer.com/radio/flfe2/ This new show is about neutralizing the effect of emf radiation on the human energy field. In this interesting interview, you’ll hear about how the process of activating the energy field of an object or location was discovered and improved. All about the results people are experiencing and about emf mitigation, which is important for overall health and protecting your immune system. First of all, there are emfs all around us, that is electromagnetic frequencies. Those that can affect your health and immune system are disharmonious to you, including wifi, smart meters, cell signals especially 5G, wireless headsets and bluetooth. Those are microwave signals. When the high consciousness field around you is activated to protect you and your home, including the latest addition of emf mitigation, normal meters cannot distinguish the difference between having the FLFE activation on or off. Instead it is clearly observed in a measurement of the human energy field. In the following image, the red trace shows the chaos of the human field around harmful emf signals while the blue trace shows a much more coherent and calm signal, similar to what’s experienced with anger and happiness in HeartMath studies of field emanations of the heart. This is interpreted as the file Further information on EMFs can be found here: https://tm179.isrefer.com/go/emf/anathegreek/ Jeff and Clayten also describe the results of what people are experiencing after focused life force energy is turned on to your home, cell phone or other object. Clayten describes their one complaint: your grocery bill might increase because people feel so good in your house they tend to stay longer. You can watch this interview at https://scientifichealer.com/flfe or listen in below. How to Protect Your Immune System from EMF Radiation: More Coronavirus Tips
In these trying times, it is imperative to help you improve your immune system so you can survive the current pandemic even if you contract the coronavirus and do it well. Everywhere you turn around there are people hawking their formulas, devices, and supplements to have you survive. In this broadcast, we are not selling you on anything except valuable, scientifically-proven information that will help boost your immune system and keep you well as much as possible. Again, Dr. Aaron Orpelli is joining me for this conversation. His expertise includes 25 years experience as an integrative medicine doctor with backgrounds in chiropractic, homeopathy, and environmental/allergy medicine. He has a practice on the Miracle Mile here in the Los Angeles area. What is EMF radiation and How Does it Affect You Today you'll hear about the radiation around you that can affect you, it can affect your immune system and damage your DNA. There's the signals that send out microwave radiation, including WiFi, G4 and G5, the signals from your TV and from your smart meters. By taking cost effective and prudent precautions, you can minimize the effects the radiation around you has on your body. First, there seems to be a variety of reactions to the current pandemic, from panic to pretending like nothing is happening. Both ends of this spectrum are dangerous. Let's dive into things you can do to protect yourself. Last time, Dr. Orpelli and I went through a list of helpful things to do from washing your hands properly, applying heat, and ultraviolet light, and ways to boost your immune system, including some great supplements that help. Tips for Helping You Lower Your EMF Exposure First, you can't eliminate all emf exposure if you live in a city. You can go to the mountains in some remote areas where there are no signals to get some relief if you need it. But the best thing to do is to cut down as much radiation as possible, like using wired headsets, wired internet (ethernet cables), and providing yourself with a calm sleep environment. You can wire your internet using ethernet adapters and routers such as these. amazon links. Even if you still have wifi signals running through your home, the most exposure you'll get is right next to the device receiving and sending signals. Expert Tips on Healing the Coronavirus: Interview with Dr. Aaron Orpelli
The big scary news across the country is that a variant of the deadly flus, like MERS and SARS, is sweeping the world. The first big cases were recognized out of China, which has about half the current known cases, while it is being recognized throughout the rest of the world now and called the COVID-19 or the 19th variant of the coronavirus. Dr. Aaron Orpelli has been dealing with similar viruses during the 25 years of his integrative medicine practice here in the greater Los Angeles area. He is all about helping others get well from things that conventional medicine generally fails to heal, such as Lyme disease, allergies, fibromyalgia, digestive problems and autoimmune issues. This is why he and I are in such alignment. Here are some highlights from the interview on the coronavirus: Coronovirus facts: The virus is transmitted by respiratory droplets. It is a variation on the earlier coronavirus, such as MERS and SARS. Symptoms include fever, dry cough, fatigue, and shortness of breath. Once you're infected, you can be contagious for over 37 days. The virus can live on hard surfaces upto 10 days at room temp and at colder temperatures, up to 18 days. Using a mask is useles to protect you from contracting the virus because of the longevity on hard surfaces. It will protect others from getting from you, however. There are no medications to heal a virus. Actions to take to help: Instead of anti-bacterial soaps and lotions, use those with alcohol. It kills up to 70% of the virus present. Even better is to wash your hands with soap and hot water. To do it properly, wet hands thoroughly above your wrists, rub with soap, between fingers, to wrist, under your nails and lather for a good while then rise for at least 20 seconds. Then dry well with a clean towel. Don't touch the faucet; use your towel instead. Touch your face as little as possible if at all. Clean your living space. If you feel sick, call your doctor. Improve your immune system by doing the following: Lower your stress levels, meditation, walking, get some fresh air. Chiropractic adjustment of the neck has been shown to stimulate the immune system. If your adrenals are firing stress hormones, the body is not healing and repairing. It is tearing your body down. Get plenty of good quality sleep. Lower your intake of sugar. One can of soda has 7 tsp sugar, which will depress your immune system for four hours if you are 150 lbs. Some medications stress the immune system. Drinking diet soda doesn't help if it has aspartame, sucralose or saccharine in it because it will destroy your microbiome. Supplements that can help: Vitamins A, C, D, E, K, Zinc and L-lysine ( https://amzn.to/2WlvXrm.) NAC or N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine https://amzn.to/2UaTDvUCold Away https://www.naturalnutritionals.com/caw90.html?gclid=Cj0KCQjw6sHzBRCbARIsAF8FMpW4hGf7-m3saGzHggSqaAmH0XszABhWGI3O-uBm_YDeVc4PHDNV4uAaArXMEALw_wcBUltra virex https://www.dcnutrition.com/product/ultra-vir-x-anti-viral-90-capsules/Echinacea https://amzn.to/2TVxdQqADP https://amzn.to/2QrMdDA; contains oregano oil that fights almost everything. Eat bitter foods. The taste of bitter foods can stimulate your immune system: such as frisee, kale, dandelion greens, brussel sprouts, arugula, bitter melon, and dill are some examples. To self diagnose any kind of lung problem or infection: inhale deeply and hold for 30 seconds. If you don't react, you are okay. What is the difference between flu, allergies, and coronavirus? Symptoms: *coronavirus: fever cry cough, fatigue shortness of breath. *flu : fever dry cough runny nose, headache, sore throat, muscle and joint pain *allergy: sneezing coughing itchy eyes, runny stuffy nose. Other Steps: UV light can kill the virus as can high temperatures: 15 minutes at 56 C or 133 F. Go to the sauna for 20 minutes, wait an hour, and an hour later for 20 more minutes.
