Meet Brian Peek, Cloud Developer Advocate at Microsoft
My focus area is game development and emerging technologies. I have worked for Microsoft in these areas since 2005. My work has included helping our game developer partners port titles like Candy Crush, Alto's Adventure, Subway Surfers, and Monument Valley to Windows and Windows Phone, building projects that showcase new technologies for Coding4Fun and Channel 9, writing C++ and gamedev docs for docs.microsoft.com, and speaking at various conferences such as BUILD, Unite, VSLive, and more.I'm probably best known for my .NET Wiimote library, but I have also created a pile of other projects and articles, worked on the original Kinect for Windows SDK, the Microsoft Mustang (Project Detroit), BoxingBots, and the LEGO EV3 Sentry Bot. I also co-authored two books: "Coding4Fun: 10 .NET Programming Projects for Wiimote, YouTube, World of Warcraft, and More" and "Debugging ASP.NET".I have self-published or dabbled in building modern and retro gamedev projects on PC, iOS, Android, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Dreamcast, Neo Geo Pocket, Atari Lynx, Gameboy, Apple II(gs), and more. When I'm not working, you'll find me restoring the pinballs in my garage, playing a game, or working on yet another gamedev or emulation project.

Meet Jeremy Likness, Cloud Developer Advocate at Microsoft
I've always had a passion for computers. I was left home alone when my parents had to work when I was seven, and because we didn't own any games for our TI-99/4A I did what I imagine any other kid would have done: I cracked open the manual and keyed in a BASIC program that made a little icon dance. From that point I was hooked, moving from that to machine language on a Commodore 64 and on to languages like Fortran, COBOL, Pascal, RPG/ILE, C, C++, and the rest was history. For the past 20 years I've been building enterprise applications, the first half of my career on the product side (for example, I was the third employee at AirWatch back when it was called Wandering WiFi because we started out as a hotspot provider before doing mobile device management) and the last half as a consultant working for Wintellect and more recently iVision. I've managed teams my entire career and one of my first published articles was in a magazine called News/400 about managing teams in 1998.My family has a passion for the outdoors. I do a lot of hiking and have done some section hikes on the Appalachian trail with my daughter. As a family, we summited our first "14er" last summer (Mt. Sherman in Colorado) and then my daughter and I hiked a half marathon up Pike's Peak. We are a vegan family although sometimes we might let eggs slide when it's too tough to put something decent together. We've been on a 99.99% plant-based diet for three years now. I've always loved the game of pool and shoot a competitive nine-ball and one pocket game. I do CrossFit on a regular basis and love to read fantasy and science fiction.

Meet Jasmine Greenaway, Cloud Developer Advocate at Microsoft
I've been working professionally as a .NET dev since late 2009. This has led me to some amazing opportunities such as getting credited in a AAA quality game, traveling the world, and getting the chance to use Visual Studio's extensibility framework in an open source environment. I'm living the hipster dream in Brooklyn, NY, the place to get "small, artisanal" batches of goods, and where the kale flows in abundance 😊I also teach front and back end web as an adjunct professor at a local community college, and co-organize BrooklynJS - a monthly meetup with lightning talks and musical guests. Outside of work, I enjoy taking various classes I find from Groupon, playing video or board games, exploring the city, and also enjoy sampling wines, oysters, or teas.

Meet Burke Holland, Cloud Developer Advocate at Microsoft
Burke is a web developer living in Nashville, TN; the greatest city in the world. He likes JavaScript a lot because it's the only way he Node to Express himself. Get it? Is this thing on? Nevermind.Look, Burke blogs only slightly better than he codes and definitely not as good as he talks about himself in the third person. The legal requirement for living in Nashville is to play a , so Burke plays the bass and tries in vain to rekindle his dreams of rock stardom. He's also a huge fun of running, lengthy bios and sarcasm.Burke works on the Azure team on behalf of JavaScript developers everywhere. You can find him on various social media networks and writing all the best words at burkeknowswords.com

Meet Cecil Phillip, Cloud Developer Advocate at Microsoft
I remember when my father bought us our first computer. At the time, there weren't many personal computers in Antigua, so you could imagine how excited we were. It was a Compaq Presario that ran Windows 95 with 56k modem that woke up the house whenever you tried to get on the internet. This is the machine that I created my first "web page" on; my name in bold letters on a white background. As trivial as it sounds, at that moment I knew what I wanted to have a career in computing.I was originally board and raised in St. John's, Antigua. In my career, I've been a teacher, podcaster, mentor and software developer. I've focused my skillset on building solutions with C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript and Microsoft Azure. I have a passion for software architecture, testing, and web technologies. I also co-host the 'Away from The Keyboard Podcast'. Throughout my career I've been able to continue that cycle of learning, experimenting and teaching. I think those habits are what lead me to start speaking at Code Camps and eventually making it to larger conferences. There is honestly no better feeling than seeing the lightbulb go off in someone's eyes after you've helped them learn something new or work through a problem.
