Deep it, Molly Mae really messed up.After a couple of months away we are back talking about the outrage caused by Molly Mae's comments on a recent podcast episode. The title "Influencer" has only recently been commercially-synthesised, providing a platform for people with followers and fan bases on social media platforms to attain 'influence'. They made history this year when they created the first ever anthology from the Covid-19 pandemic. Their determination saw them bring the book together in less than 40 days, overcome adversity and make a global impact by showcasing the stories and experiences of people all over the world.In this episode, Albion delves into the journey that led to this amazing achievement, asking those questions we all want the answer to and, ultimately, finding out how we can all take our ideas and make history. What better way to end it with an emotional and intellectual tribute to a very important condiment in our lives. Deep it, why does Social Activism keep failing? According to a mini-survey we carried out on our Instagram and Facebook page, 80% of our listeners believe that Social Activism has proven ineffective and, in light of the Jacob Blake incident, can this really be argued against? In this episode we talk about our own opinions on the matter and try to explain why we feel Social Activism in the 21st century seems to be failing.

Deep it, A Level results were a complete mess. In this episode of the Deep it Podcast we talk about the occurrences on Thursday 13th August when students around the United Kingdom were given their A Level grades. Subject to what has now been deemed a flawed algorithm, many found that their grades had been unfairly and disproportionately reduced. Using personal stories and our opinions we delve into what happened and, more importantly, try to give reasons why.

Many influences exist growing up and we delve (lightly) into what are some of the potential causes for long term mental health problems for boys in the communities that we inhabit. Thus we use our stories to locate causes, understand the effects and prescribe solutions - hopefully.
