In the northern reaches of the Rûl, in the city of crossings, at the behest of a desperate merchant, three novice adventurers gather in hopes of seeking fortune and glory. Before long, they come face to face with specter bearing ill tidings, revealing a whole new dimension to their seemingly simple wintry escort quest . These fledgeling adventurers, whose skills were acquired through hardship, know not the shadows that stalk the wintery land. Are they up to the task? Will they survive the arctic dangers that await them?  In this special holiday episode of Swords and Swagger, Christian (the dungeon daddy), Glenn (Toddiken Mosley), and Austin (the intro music guy), under the game master Adam (Svarri Renlod); take on a brutal yule tide campaign. Atop their new mounts, our heroes begin their long journey to Amn. One ploy fails to launch and the heroes end up in a race to the finish! Our heroes get their first ever interlude to do some much needed  shopping and prepare for their journey to Amn. With some much needed rest our heroes increase their heoric-ness by leveling up. Svarri  flexes, Toddiken gets some new powers, and Fang steals to and fro.

The heroes arrive ashore in the port city of Waterdeep. Not mere moments later they come face to face with a fearsome for from their past. Can they stand up against this watery-denizen or will they sink? Fang does some flips,  Toddiken is the hero he wants to be, and Svarri leaps into the fray. A few days into their journey on the high seas, our heroes take a dive into the seas and face some vicious underwater denizens. Can they blub their way through this one? Fang agility-y and lithely does things, Toddiken finds a furry friend, and Svarri grapples greatly.

Having dealt with Kassiak and his encroaching northmen, our heroes prepare for their long journey home. Fang plays house cat, Toddiken struggles with roles and prejudice, and Svarri charts a course.

The once sputtering and cowering imp, Peaches, has placed the party in danger mere hours after waking from their three days of death. Fang does some illusions, Toddiken forgoes talking, and Svarri awakens a storm.

At long last Fang, Toddiken, and Svarri have done the impossible and risen from premature death. They contemplate their next move, but can these heroes right themselves in time to pursue their ever receding goal? Fang witnesses parenthood, Toddiken plays the fool, and Svarri becomes an unwilling father figure.

Fang, Toddiken and Svarri, after a long journey through the shadowfell,  find themselves in the presence of the Raven Queen.
