There were already heavy vibes on the horizon and I tried to counter that with some reggae, electronic dub, and psychedelic ambient (aka psybient) grooves. I performed opening and closing sets to book end their performance. The event went down under the mighty oak trees on the patio of the lovely, Tavern 101, in Agoura Hills, Ca. To get the full experience of this show I would recommend that the listener partake in some Alek Fin tunes (especially the aforementioned, Án Mynda) after this set and before playing the second set. The next live Daydreamer Session was recorded on June 8th of this year at my current residency at Dudes Brewing in Thousand Oaks, Ca. After reading the news of Anthony Bourdain's suicide that morning, I was inspired to make the intro and outro of this set a tribute to the man whom I had admired greatly. As usual, the peformance was completely improvised and full of ecclectic selections. Enjoy !
