Covid-19 still affects our day-to-day lives in many ways, and its long-lasting effects are still evolving. In this episode we met with Prof. Claude Fischer, a sociologist from the University of California, Prof. Alex Weinreb, Research Director at the Taub Center, and Danielle Cantor, the co-founder of a mutual aid aiming to help people in need during Covid-19, to discuss the ways Covid-19 is changing and will continue to change our everyday lives. In this episode, we speak with Tamar Havshush about her experience of being a secular Israeli mother who works in high tech and has five children born over the span of just seven and a half years. In this episode, DataPoint host Maya Dolgin tells the story of the Yerucham Science Center, talking with the director of the Center, Asaf Shalev, and with some of the students involved in its programs. The Yerucham Science Center is an educational institute that runs a number of programs for kids of different ages, both during and outside of school. Delving into the Center’s activities provides insight into Israel’s education system and, more particularly, on its possible role in promoting economic growth while at the same time helping to reduce inequalities.
