Whether it’s information or entertainment, the content producers are churning out more than we can consume.  Netflix, Amazon, YouTube, iTunes, all of the websites, and etc. have presented us with an overflow.  The solution is to pick out the best three sources of information and/or entertainment and drop the rest.

Even without being familiar with an entity, you can better predict what will happen with it in the future by looking to its norm.  Anything outside of the norm, absent an underlying fundamental change, will quickly revert back to the mean.

Consumers now have decisions made for them unless they take action to opt-out.  Somehow companies have flipped the switch and put the onus on consumers to opt-out of their emails, information theft, and automatic playing videos rather than opting-in for them.
