Every Christmas break for the past several years, my husband and I take the time to sit down and plan out our big family trips for the next year. Even though we had to cancel the majority of our trips in 2020, my Inner Compass told me it was still important to plan trips for 2021. As I’ve gone through all of my old journals, I’ve remembered all the experiences that have shaped me. Through the process, I’ve been reflecting on the lessons I’ve learned and the mistakes I’ve made and I’ve had to decide what parts to keep in , what to take out, and ultimately what I want my life story to be. Words have power. Some words, when you hear them, come with stories and expectations attached to them. When you think of the word Trailblazer what comes to your mind? Do you think of well known, impactful women like Amelia Earhart or Rosa Parks, who did big, incredible things that are known by many? While most of what it had to say didn’t surprise me, there were a few things that did.
