After President Trump wrote on Twitter that John Kerry had illegal meetings with the very hostile Iranian Regime in which he told Iran to “wait out the Trump administration”, Kerry responded on the Bill Maher show by calling Trump “an insecure teenage girl.” Dan talks about the illegal meetings and asks callers whether Kerry should be prosecuted for undermining the current administration.

At an annual dinner for the country’s largest LGBTQ charity, Joe Biden spoke out about Trump using the White House as a “literal, literal bully pulpit, callously exerting his power over those who have little or none.” In his speech, Biden mentioned how the Suicide Hotline received a spike in callers in the hours following Trump’s election. Dan questions why the hotline is releasing these numbers which push a political agenda, and asks whether or not it’s a good idea.

On Monday, President Trump ordered the Justice Department to release emails, text messages and documents of James Comey, Andrew McCabe, Peter Strzok, Lisa Page and Bruce Ohr. Dan discusses what this can mean for Democrats moving forward.

On Sunday, CNN’s Jake Tapper interviewed New York congressional candidate Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and asked her where she intended to get the money needed to fund something she’s been very vocal about, Medicare for all. After Ocasio-Cortez dismissed the question, Tapper tried asking again and she ignored it again. Dan talks about how this concept is a pipe dream and impossible. Also, Dan talks about a local report of doctors trading opiate prescriptions for nude photos of patients.

A recent Census Bureau report shows that Philadelphia has the highest poverty rate of any large city in America. The average median income in Philadelphia went down between 2016 and 2017 by about 4%. Dan talks about how embarrassing this is for the city.

Over the weekend, Bill Maher said on his HBO show that the NFL and other sports leagues needs to put an end to the unabashed militarism they show during their national anthems. Maher exposes the cost to taxpayers for the military’s “recruitment”. Dan spends some time countering the claims made by the talk show host.

Over the weekend, Hurricane Florence hit the coast of the Carolinas. The left has tried to turn this natural disaster into anti-Trump propaganda. An MSNBC panelist equated those who deny global warming to those who deny the Holocaust. Dan exposes the strange twisting of reality that many participated in when talking about the latest hurricane.

Yesterday, Washington Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal went on CNN and discussed the sexual assault allegations against Brett Kavanaugh. She said that the Senate owes it to Christine Ford and women across the country to postpone Kavanaugh’s vote until a private investigation can be conducted centered on the allegations. Dan gives his thoughts on the situation surrounding the claims and the democratic response to the accusations.

Dan is frustrated by the poor conditions of Pennsylvania schools' water fountains, which received an "F" rating for safety.
