CCP Ep 15_Rose and Richard Hamilton
CCP Episode 15 is truly unique amongst all other Curtain Call Podcast episodes: this one is truly a simple conversation amongst friends. Here at CCP, we always strive to present more of a conversation, and less of a traditional interview. In this particular sense, Episode 15 is very successful. Gone are the traditional question and answer interview tropes; instead the conversation abounds with laughter, and pathos, and human warmth and interaction. "Carmen and I have known Rose and Richard for many years going back," says CCP founder and co-host Chuck Clay. "But we haven't been in constant contact with them in all of that time except for social media outlets like Facebook. This podcast, more than any other, really places the listener as "a fly on the wall" for an honest conversation between four friends and professionals as they catch up on each other's work and lives." We are very proud of this simple concversation among friends and we hope that it brings you light and warmth! Roselaine Fox Hamilton is a Production Assistant on the Fox hit series Bones, and Richard has been working the Halloween season at The Queen Mary's Dark Harbor in Long Beach, CA. They are also most excellent people. You should get to know them.

CCP Ep 14 - Rob Nagle
For Episode 14 Chuck is joined by actor Rob Nagle for a conversation about influences, tackling auditions, and acting for stage versus screen. Rob was raised in Eugene, Oregon… then in DeKalb, Illinois… and then in Williamsburg, Virginia... he is a self-professed “faculty brat." He graduated from Northwestern University in 1992 with a double-major in theatre and philosophy. For Lucky Episode 13, Chuck and Carmen had the great good fortune (indeed) to share a conversation with Stu Krieger (Land Before Time, Monkey Trouble) about being in a writer’s room with Steven Spielberg, the crush he’s had on Hayley Mills since childhood, and why he feels writing for Disney was “inevitable”. Stu Krieger is a Professor of screen and television writing in the UCR Department of Theatre, Film & Digital Production. He co-wrote the Emmy award winning mini-series A Year in the Life and been nominated for Humanitas Prize for the Disney Channel original movie, Going to the Mat. CCP Ep 3 - Aaron Bush
This is the tale of Aaron Bush. Self-proclaimed trouble maker, Aaron has been wreaking havoc in the theater community as a "professional" for the past 16 years.  What started as an extra curricular activity in high school quickly turned in to a career.  He managed to turn skipping classes to build scenery and completely avoiding homework to attend rehearsals, apprentice at the local community theater, and work at a local television station into his reason for existence.  He started his first professional contract the day after he turned 18. Long hours, terrible pay (pennies an hour), and two days off in 8 weeks somehow drove this madman to pursue more of this questionable work and drive the point home that this is what he was destined to do for the rest of his life.  Back in the old days of fax machines, dial-up Internet, carrier pigeons, and smoke signals, he wrenched interviews out of potential employers like how a car dealer sells minivans to Mormons.  Job offers were abundant and he could pick and choose as he pleased.  Ultimately he chose to go work for a place in Utah that put on performances of Shakespeare every summer... A festival of sorts... A Utah Shakespearean festival (that's catchy.  someone should use that.)  it was here where he met the most unfortunate of all women who foolishly fell head over heels for his childish jokes, total lack of professionalism, and complete disregard for self preservation and ultimately chose to stick with him in good times and bad, in sickness and in health, until death do they part.  Yup.  He totally suckered her into making the worst decision of her life.  Not marriage.  That shit's awesome.  Marrying him was the bad decision.  She regrets it every day (probably).  After a couple more years, a few penniless treks back and forth across country, and blazing trail of shame and adventure, he dragged her kicking and screaming to Las Vegas (like ya do).  They managed to sho

Carmen Gomez recieved her BFA in Design from TCU (Go Frogs!) in 1999 and her MFA in design from Texas Tech University in 2002.  After completing her formal education, Carmen worked as a professional scenic painter before accepting a faculty design position at Gulf Coast Community College in Panama City, Florida.  There she enjoyed five years of teaching as well as starting and running a not-for-profit Shakespeare company with her beloved husband (her words!). After that she joined the Theatre and Dance Department at the George Washington University in Washington, DC. Over those four years, Carmen enjoyed working with a number of organizations including The Smithsonian's National Museum of the American Indian.  Examples of Carmen's work can be found at http://carmenfgomez.wix.com/carmenfgomez "Episode 2 was always an important one for me, almost as much as 1. While episode 1 introduces the show, I always felt somehow that episode 2 should introduce me. What better way to introduce myself than to interview my infinitely better half. If you haven't listened to the podcast yet, episode 2 on October 1 is a pretty good place to start!" --CCP host Chuck Clay
