Good Morning! Its Thursday December 17th Folks, we have come to the point of this year we call the grand conjunction, a time to reflect on not just how we have survived this whole time, but also to expose on how shitty we have been to ourselves. And i’m not talking about just losing friends, or having guilt that you couldn’t make it to an event where you felt like it wasn’t safe for you to be outdoors. I’m talking more about how we’ve been treating ourselves. Physically and emotionally. Folks, we’re living in a strange place, where you can make money by playing games, playing an intellectual to the public; like myself on a podcast or youtube, or just plainly, you can get paid just to play with yourself on camera. The world of academics and social norms have been shoved aside to make way for people to make some type of living for themselves when they can’t really be social in the real world. But what really stems from this? what is really going on with ourselves ? Now I know there’s going to be a ton of you listening now just in your head like “ come on gelo, do you think i’m like any of those three examples?” well as a matter of fact, yes. I believe so. and the thing is i’m not different than any of you. we all have this sense of wanting to be seen, wanting to be popular, we all seek attention. Is that bad? should you feel guilty on quick reassurance ? these questions I often ask myself probably twice a day or more and I always come to the realization, that it’s totally fine to want this attention. The human mind and body constantly needs this type of shit. Having that warm feeling you get when someone likes your post that you ever so perfectly orchestrated, or for the artistically pretentious, say that you put together something so effortlessly and that it was simply just “a vibe”. my point is, we’re all the same for this matter. But there is one thing that we all should reflect on, something we all really need to address, and that’s self care and self love. How much attention are you truly giving yourself right now? I’ve been seeing many of us diving deep in these memes of self help and self worth, how ever to be honest, are you posting this for you? or for others to see that your posting?I had just started dating a few months ago, and something dawned on me. Am I really interested in these women I meet, or am I just really amused at the fact that I get to talk about myself to a brand new person that barely knows my life. The saga of gelo seeking attention is endless and I don’t think it will ever really end, but where I get this attention I do admit needs to change. It needs to come from within. Now I know that this podcast gives me your undivided attention, or somewhat. what ever it is you do on a daily basis, you must have this on while you’re already doing a million things. But I gotta ask you the same question I ask myself, what level of attention have you given yourself today? Is it genuine ? is it caring? If it isn’t are you ok with that? Now if you’ve listened to this entire thing and you feel like i’m attacking you, don’t worry we’re in the same boat. we all got some work to do, but I promise you this is a project that we can all really work on. This is curated Chaos, i’m Gelo. Thanks for listening .
