It's Mother's Day and we're very sorry for what you're about to listen to. Last week we came up with stupid ideas for movies based on video games. This week we're doing the reverse. These are the stupidest ideas we can think of for video games based on movies and TV shows. There's plenty of movies and shows that would make perfect video games but these ones would make terrible ones. Forget about your John Wick or Mission Impossible video game, we're here to tell you about a Titanic video game. Hollywood has a new found love of video games, they're turning every popular game into a movie these days. Well some games just shouldn't be made into movies and we're here to tell you which ones. These might be good video games, they might be bad video games, but that doesn't matter because they would make absolutely terrible, stupid movies. Jared Leto goes to ridiculous lengths to stay in character when he's filming a movie. His method acting always leads to a bad performance anyway so what is he even doing? This week saw the release of Lego Star Wars The Skywalker Saga. By all accounts it's one of the best Lego games of all time. But we haven't played it yet so we can't say. We still have to celebrate though so we're going over some franchises that we think deserve their own Lego video game. There's never been a bad Lego game and there's tons of properties that could make for a great one. How about Lego James Bond or Lego SpongeBob or Lego Barbie or Lego Borderlands or Lego Seinfeld. The Game Awards have come and gone. The only award show that doesn't actually care about awards. It was 3 and a half hours of commercials and trailers meant to generate empty hype. There was also the odd award given out but if you blinked you probably missed it. This show was a slog to sit through, it was disrespectful to every winner and it was the embodiment of all that is wrong with capitalism. This was not a show to honor the games that came out this year, this was a show telling you to consume games that aren't out yet.
