#3 Grad School Thoughts & Charts! (feat. Interns)
Post grad you find yourself working ( if you’re lucky)  and it’s great for like 6 months and then summer ends……...and you’re still working, to work, and then work some more basically you’re just working until start asking yourself what’s next My step which I highly recommend a goal flow chart, kind of like a vision board without all the images… Basically you sit down and write on a sticky note where your at today. What’s your current state or current role; this will require some reflection and honesty What do you hope to accomplish in 1 year or where do you want to be in 1 year In between that I would write what steps do you need to take to reach that next sticky note.. Once you have this down you’ll have an idea of what you want and what you have to do now to get what you want. This is a great tool to prep for grad school and a great exercise for interns!

#2 Beat Ventures
When an industry is dominated by 3 major players, it’s common to not see new entries into the market. However in the music industry this seems to not apply, despite the crushing resources that sony, Universal, and Warner Group have over the market it seems more and more new players  emerge.  This is why I consider artist entrepreneurs of entrepreneurs, because despite the competition, artists have continued to build, pivot, and craft products to win the market. Unlike other entrepreneurs in silicon valley, rappers in silicon valley are doing this with no help from investors, simply girt.

#1 The Perfect Blend
According to  the conference board ( a non profit research organization)  53 percent of the workforce is not happy with their work.  This unhappiness may be due to a lack of interest in their role, industry or working conditions but regardless this is a grim number. In today's episode we will  share the story of Preston Nunez who despite having a promising career on paper, realized he was becoming apart of this grim number. It was  only until he made the conscious effort to quit his job and change his lifestyle that discovered the perfect blend of passion and work.
