The focus of this first episode is mindset. I chose this topic because I truly believe that to be strong in every area of your life you need to gain strength within your mind first.
How do you manage your thoughts?
Do you feel like you are on auto pilot?
These 6 habits can actually help you manage your thoughts better.
Create more success and pretty much guarantee you reach any goal you set for yourself.
With these 6 morning habits, I believe this is possible. I want you to find genuine trust and confidence in yourself so that you can grow into the person you were meant to be and experience a higher sense of motivation.
Imagine what you could do if you had no more self-doubt. I find when I think about that it truly scares me. It takes courage to face the internal demons that restrict us from achieving greatness.
What was the last big goal you had?
Now I want you to think for a moment. The last big goal you had, what happened? Did you run into any roadblocks that you feel held you back from accomplishing that goal? Now I want you to think about how you showed up to reach that goal. Did you show up as your best self? If you didn’t achieve the goal, then I’m guessing you didn’t show up as 100% your best self.
The fact is if you want to achieve anything, you have to address your mindset first. It’s the key to unlocking who you really are and what you really want in life.
So, I want to challenge you and ask you this:
When you woke this morning what was the first thing you did? Did you even think about it?
Do you feel like you are a robot going about your day?
Do you want to strive for more but just don’t have the energy?
If you incorporate just one of these things into your morning routine, you will see a difference.
By incorporating these 6 habits and tools you actually become more conscious of your actions. When you are more conscious of your actions you start to realize those actions that don’t serve you. We need to focus on the actions that serve us, our goals, and the people around us.
Let’s begin with the first tool.

1. Silence, quiet your mind.
Practice silence for greater clarity.Stay relaxed but attentive in your silence.
And know that it isn’t going to be easy at first. Aim for just 30 seconds. Don’t think about what you have to do for the day until that 30 seconds is up.
I’m not gonna lie, this one is hard for me. I suffer from anxiety and my mind does not want to quit.

3. Visualization
This goes back to how you think about yourself. Do you see yourself accomplishing your goals? If you don’t believe in yourself this one is going to be hard for you. Out of all of the 6 habits to reach your goals in 2021, this is one I know many successful people do regularly!
4. Exercise
The fourth tool of the 6 habits to change your life is exercise. This one is close to my heart because exercise has brought me through many challenges.
The absolute best time to work out is always going to be whenever works for you. But starting your day with a good sweat does have some serious advantages.
Researchers from Brigham Young University found exercising in the morning can actually make food seem less appealing. For the study, published in the journal Medicine & Science in Sports & Exercise, researchers analyzed the brain activity of women as they looked at pictures of food and flowers, which served as the control.
Women who’d exercised for 45 minutes in the morning were less fired up about the tasty images than those who skipped the workout. What’s more, the morning exercisers didn’t consume more food than the other group over the course of the day.
You’ll consume fewer unnecessary calories.You’ll be more active all day long. Bonus you’re burning more calories.You’ll burn more fat.Lower your blood pressure.

In a study out of Appalachian State University, researchers asked study participants to hit the treadmills for 30 minutes at three different times of day: 7 a.m., 1 p.m., and 7 p.m. Those who worked out in the morning reduced their blood pressure by 10 percent, a dip that continued all day and lowered even more (to 25 percent) at night. preventative measure.
You’ll sleep better at night.You can protect yourself from diabetes.You’ll build muscle more efficiently.
And of course, you’ll get all the other added health benefits of exercising!
5. Read
It doesn’t really matter what you read but I would suggest something that speaks to your heart. I read a daily devotional that helps me get my mind in the right place for the day.
6. Journal
For the last habit, of the 6 habits to reach your goals in 2021 I suggest journaling. You don’t have to take to long on this or feel like you need to write pages upon pages. Keep it simple, I’ve listed what I journal below.
3 things that you are grateful for.1 thing you appreciate about where you are at in your journey.Then write down 1 or 2 things that went right the day before or it’s the evening then the current day.
