Jesus modeled the importance of prayer by praying for those who were his enemies after being beaten, tortured, and hung on a cross. By not praying and showing forgiveness for those who would be against us, we put ourselves above God. Mankind's greatest need as lost people is forgiveness. Luke 23:32

We tend to allow ourselves to be molded by the culture around us; where the truth is skewed to the point that we live a life not by what is actually true. "Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see." (Heb. 11 NLT)

When sin is in the church it matters. The Lords desire for His Church is to be perfect, Holy, and separated. Everybody has a sin flesh but as children of God we should desire to be perfect.

The Lord has given us a great Church; and unified we are the Church. We are at our greatest when we are unified. "How wonderful and pleasant it is when brothers live together in harmony!" (Psalm 133)

Faith is a commodity in our life, a substance of thing hoped for. Something that God gives us. It is ours to be received and live our lives with.
